Story
Don't miss out on this gorgeous chocolate-coated boy! WHAT MY FOSTER SAYS: Meet Jupiter aka Juju. He loves walks, playing tug-a-war, and doing food puzzles. He's one smart cookie! He has made SUCH incredible progress in the couple of months he has spent with his foster, working very hard to be a good boy. His biggest struggle is leash reactivity. It has been so rewarding to see his improvement through patient time spent outdoors, lots of treats and affirmation, and space from triggers (other dogs and bikes). Jupiter's special talent is that he can also jump baby gates and lock doors! He aims to please, loves to snug and give little kisses. He will need to keep working on his confidence around other dogs. We suspect that he will make a great running buddy. He has a good handle on potty training. Juju is quite comfortable in his crate, but sometimes feels left out and will let you know about it! He is a big ball of joy and will make a wonderful addition to an active home! -------------- Laila's Legacy Animal Rescue does not guarantee that any dog is housebroken nor crate trained. We strive to provide accurate information on all of our animals however, we are unable to guarantee an animal's breed, size, health, behavior, temperament, or any other conditions. Our adoption fees are not inclusive of all vetting / medical care, food, supplies and/or training costs. Since we rely on donations to compensate for those deficits we are unable to reduce or refund this fee. TO DONATE: Please consider making a donation on our website at www.lailaslegacyanimalrescue.org so that Laila's Legacy can continue to provide lifesaving medical treatment and training.

Story
Sadie is a beautiful and energetic little lady from South Carolina, who is good with other dogs, cats, and kids! Sadie is still a bit of a puppy, with a desire to walk, sniff, and explore. She doesn't mind stopping along her walks for pets and snuggles and loves to climb into your lap and smother you with kisses. Sadie will need to learn to walk on leash, as she has likely never been trained. However, she does know the "sit" command, and she is very treat motivated, so she will be a willing student! We will update sweet Sadie's profile as we learn more about her. PAW adopts in the DC, MD, VA, and souther PA region. ##2616724##

Story
URGENT - needs foster! Meet Chuck – A PAW FAVORITE, Chuck is a loving boy with personality to spare!  Chuck is a handsome, playful 2-year-old brindle boy, who LOVES to play with other dogs. He is super patient with his canine friends, even littles! Weighing in at around 60 pounds Chuck is bursting with love. Despite his young age, Chuck developed cataracts and lost his vision—but thanks to the amazing team at PAW, he’s had eye surgery and is now discovering the world with fresh, bright eyes and a nose for fun. Because of his limited vision early in life, Chuck can be a little tentative when meeting new people. But he warms up quickly and shows his goofy, sweet, and fun-loving personality! He absolutely loves going for walks, exploring the yard, and doing zoomies (watch his video—it's guaranteed to make you smile). He’s patient, smart (he knows "sit" and is learning "down"), eager to please, and already crate trained and housebroken. Chuck would be fine as an only dog but he would love a brother or sister! Chuck is also very social—great with other dogs and people. His favorite things include peanut butter, music, and nose rubs. This oversized cuddlebug thrives on love and companionship and would make a wonderful addition to just about any family—especially one with another dog, as he’s been thriving in a foster home with canine pals. Can you be the one to help him continue adjusting to life now that he can see? PAW will provide training to support his adopter.  Let’s help Chuck see how beautiful life can be—with you by his side. ##2331889##

Story
Meet Darling Bobby – a big SMUSH wanting to give you kisses!! **SENIOR** This sweet boy is a gentle soul who wants a home (and people) to call his own.  He LOVES people!  He is a volunteer favorite - all he wants is to give love and kisses to all people - kids included. If you want a well trained dog who can relax in the home and needs a relatively low level of exercise - consider the Bobster!  Bobby is 6 years old and only 60 pounds.  He is housetrained, crate trained, and knows many commands such as “sit,” “stay,” “down,” and “wait.”  He has been attending class to learn how to walk better on the leash and ignore distractions - and he has been a star student!   Good boy Bobby enjoys playing in a yard and is an expert at fetch - sometimes with more than one ball at a time - and sometimes he doesn’t want to give them up (check out his video).  He is quite the snuggle bunny and will follow you around the house and patiently wait for you to give him attention.  He also loves to keep you company for car rides and walks in the woods or around a lake where he can sniff all the smells and dream of catching squirrels. PAW is committed to helping Bobby transition smoothly and will support his adopter with training to set him up for success. We think Bobby would do best in a single family home with a yard as the only dog.  If you have room for this sweet boy apply today! ##1127125##

Story
Cashew is a beautiful girl ready to bond with her people.  This sensitive soul is 2 years old and medium sized at around 40 pounds.  She looks to people for direction (with those beautiful blue eyes!) and is receptive to guidance.  Cashew is easy to walk on the leash and enjoys learning commands.  She is doing well in daycare with her doggy friend and they play well together.  Cashew would do well in a household with either another dog who could provide her with companionship or as an only dog and would enjoy playdates with friends. We think Cashew would do well in a home with active people who enoy walking and training her.  She loves to walk, run, play, fetch, chew, and participate in any and all types of "doggie playtime!"  She enjoys the car, and she is a willing partner in fun and activity! Cashew is full of love to give and will be an amazing dog to join your family - apply today! PAW adopts in the MD, northern VA, DC and southern PA region. ##2627814##

Story
Hi, I'm Tatum! Im a spirited, confident boy with an independent streak and a big personality.Other dogs really bring out the best in me, and I feel more relaxed and social when Im around canine friends. I already know my basic commands and genuinely enjoy working with my handler. Im extremely treat-motivated, which makes training fun and rewarding for both of us. I love to please and do best with someone who enjoys engaging with their dog and appreciating a bit of personality and flair. Im looking for a forever home where my independence is respected and my loyal heart is cherished. Bringing me home means gaining a devoted companion who will keep you smiling and always be by your side with my one-of-a-kind personality. The nice folks at RDR will update my profile when they learn more about me. I cannot wait to find a forever home where I can share all the love I've got to give.
