Story
Meet Dapper Dobby – experience the joy of this big-hearted boy—he’s waiting to steal your heart!!! Sweet Dobby had a family for 4 years - until illness took them away.   Now he has spent 300 days in a kennel - watching other dogs go home while he waits… and waits… for that one special person to find him. At just over 5 years old and 60ish pounds, this lovable mix (lab, terrier, your guess?) is a perfect blend of gentle, smart, and affectionate. Whether it's greeting every person with a wagging tail and kisses, or snuggling up close at home, Dobby's goal is to love and be loved.  He will lean into your touch, follow you with hopeful eyes, and remind you what it means to be truly chosen. Easygoing & House-ReadyDobby is a dream in the home: Housebroken Crate-trained Excellent at commands including "sit," "stay," and "down" Calm and relaxed throughout the day When it’s time to play, Dobby’s ready! He loves tug-of-war and fetch, and he’s a pro at “leave it.” After playtime, he’s just as happy curling up for a nap in his bed—especially by a window or door where he can keep watch.  He also loves to keep you company for car rides and walks in the woods or around a lake where he can sniff all the smells and dream of catching squirrels. People-Lover ExtraordinaireDobby is sweet and friendly with everyone he meets, kids included! He’s very treat-motivated (and takes them gently), and he’s the kind of pup who would love to snooze at the foot of your bed—or in his own bed nearby. Best as Your One & OnlyDobby can be dog-selective, so he'd thrive as the only pet in the home. But don’t worry—he has more than enough love to go around.  Dobby would do well with an experienced adopter - to show him that love is not temporary and the best years of his life are still to come. PAW is committed to helping Dobby transition smoothly and will support his adopter with training to set him up for success. Check out Dobby's TV debut! He stole the show on ABC This Morning: "Dobby" steals the spotlight, looking for his forever home Dobby has waited 300 days - please don’t make him wait one more!  Contact information@paw-rescue.org  for more information or fill out an application today! ##1127125##

Story
Banks wants to be your buddy!  He is a happy guy, just over one year old.  At only 40 pounds he is easy to handle and will do well in many types of homes.  He is sweet and engaging, loves people, and seeks out attention and snuggles.  He has made great strides at his foster - mastering housetraining, great on leash, and basic commands.  He loves to frolic in the back yard - chasing balls and playing with toys. His foster says, "He is an energetic young dog who loves his walks. He will be a good buddy if you are trying to get your steps in every day!" Banks also loves toys, emptied out the toy bin trying every one, and squeaky toys are his favorite! Banks has an easy-going personality.  He likes his walks, chasing squirrels, and running zoomies in the yard, but he is also happy to chill in the house with you, snuggled up, getting scratches and pets.  He is good with children and seems to like women better than men. Banks enjoys playing with other dogs, and other dogs seem to bolster his confidence, but we think he would be best as the only dog in a home. Banks is crate trained (but doesn't love it) and his foster thinks he would so best in a home where someone is home a good portion of the time since he can ger anxious if left alone for too long. If you are looking for your new best friend, give Banks a try!  He will give you all his love and be a great companion! ##2379792##

Story
Chonk is a handsome, playful brindle boy full of love.  He is 2 years old and around 60 pounds.  Even at his young age Chonk had cataracts and could not see.  PAW had his eyes repaired - he is on the mend and learning all about his bright new world. His limited vision made him tentative and he remains so upon meeting new people but once he warms up, he is goofy, sweet, and wonderful to be around. Chonk loves walks, time in the yard, and running zoomies. (Watch the video to see Chonk in action!) He is patient, smart (knows sit and learning down), and eager to please. Chonk is crate trained and housebroken.  Chonk is very social, good with other dogs and people. He loves treats (peanut butter being his favorite!), music, and ear scratches and nose rubs. Chonk is an oversized lovebug. He will make a wonderful addition to any family, including a family with a dog as he has been fostered with other dogs.  Chonk urgently needs a new foster - can you be the person to help him learn to adjust to the world now that he can see?  PAW supports fosters with all supplies and training. ##2331889##

Story
Nova is a fun-loving, energetic, and affectionate dog with a playful spirit. She loves to run around, play with toys, and be around people. Whether it’s chasing a ball or just getting belly rubs, she brings a lot of joy and energy to any space she’s in. She’s great with children and is crate-trained/potty-trained/good on leash. She thrives on attention, playtime, and positive interactions. I adopted Nova from my cousin about two years ago. She has been a wonderful companion, but my schedule has become too overwhelming but my schedule has become too overwhelming to give her the time and attention she truly deserves. It’s a heartbreaking decision, but I believe finding her a home where she can be active, loved, and cared for is the best thing for her. She would do best in a home with space to play and someone who can give her plenty attention.
