Story
This sweet boy is a playful, loving, and incredibly attentive dog who truly bonds with his people. He loves to play, stay engaged, and be part of whatever you’re doing. He’s the kind of dog who watches you closely and just wants to be near you. He does have some attachment issues and needs a home where someone is around most of the time. He thrives with consistency, companionship, and reassurance, and would do best with a person or family who enjoys having a loyal shadow by their side. Making the decision to rehome him has been incredibly difficult, and it comes from a place of love and wanting what’s best for him. He deserves a home where his need for closeness can be met, and where he can continue to grow into the amazing dog he already is.

To learn more about Miracle please get in touch with dogs@lostdogrescue.org Miracle will be at one of our adoption events this weekend! Visit our event page (https://www.lostdogrescue.org/events/) to see which one—event listings are usually updated on Fridays with attending dogs. Meet Miracle, a beautiful Lab mix with a gentle heart and a grateful spirit. She was found wandering on her own, and despite all she’s been through, she remains incredibly sweet, trusting, and full of quiet resilience. At around 2 years old, she already knows basic commands like sit and is eager to keep learning, especially when kindness, patience, and positive reinforcement are involved. Miracle is very treat-motivated, but she has wonderful manners and doesn’t jump on people, even when treats are involved. She loves to sniff and follow her nose, taking great joy in exploring her surroundings, and she does well in the presence of other dogs, making her a pleasant companion on walks and outings. With the cold weather setting in, Miracle has shown just how thankful she is to be warm and safe again. She’s ready for a fresh start—a cozy home, a loving heart, and a forever family who will never let her feel alone again. Could you be the happy ending this sweet girl has been hoping for?

Visit our event page (https://www.lostdogrescue.org/events/) to see which one—event listings are usually updated on Fridays with attending dogs. A handsome young adult Lab, with good manners and a sweet, mellow personality? Run, don't walk to come meet Reese! Reese is a 3-year-old Labrador Retriever with a beautiful Irish cream coat and a classic, soulful Lab face that’s impossible not to love. While he may look like a big cuddle bug, Reese is more of a quiet companion, he’s happiest hanging out calmly beside you, enjoying your presence without needing to be in your lap. You couldn't ask for a better work from home office mate! Reese is a wonderfully mellow and peaceful dog who rarely barks and takes the world in stride. He walks easily on leash, and isn’t bothered by cars or strangers. He rides beautifully in the car, where he simply settles down and relaxes. If you like a hand-on canine experience, Reese is ready for you - he loves hugs, pets and belly rubs, and absolutely adores being brushed. He knows basic commands like sit and, while he’s not very motivated by treats, he truly enjoys human connection. Reese especially loves outdoor walks, where he can feel the cool wind against his coat and take in his surroundings at an unhurried pace. Reese has shown a bit of an escape-artist streak and may occasionally find his way into a bit of mischief, but his calm, easygoing nature makes him a joy to work with. He does have some tremors in his legs, though they don’t slow him down or stop him from enjoying his walks and daily activities. If you’re looking for a quiet, steady, and gentle companion who will walk by your side and sit peacefully near you, Reese may be the perfect match.
