Story
I'm currently in a FOSTER HOME! If you would like to set up a time to meet with me, please contact my foster parent at rosie80107@gmail.com.Luna is just over 1.5 years old. She is the epitome of sweetness with the perfect blend of low-energy charm and occasional bursts of playful antics. With a heart as big as her goofy personality, Luna adores lounging around and embrace the joys of lazy days. But don't let her laid-back demeanor fool you! She is always up for a walk or a round of fun when the mood strikes. Luna thrives on a routine, just like the moon as she will rise and fall with you. A scheduled life where she can shower her family with endless affection is that kind of life for her. She is also a quick learner, easily trained to master new tricks and commands. To learn more about her, please contact her foster at rosie80107@gmail.com.Check out Luna's video! https://www.youtube.com/shorts/wAytq3IbC_4

Story
** I am currently being housed at our New York Avenue location. Come meet me at 1201 New York Avenue NE, every day from 12pm-7pm. Please arrive no later than 6:30 p.m. to allow ample time to interact with adoptable dogs. Or visit humanerescuealliance.org/how-to-adopt to learn more. If we could bottle up Reign's lust for life, well we could solve all the world's energy problems. This SUPER friendly and busy miss is so eager to meet people that she just jumps for joy. She is perpetually happy. What a great gal. Reign is a big young puppy that needs dedicated adopters to help her refine her leash walking skills- she is ready to be a student in positive training classes. She would be an A+ star! Reign also needs to gain a bit of weight as she is rather thin. Reign's last home sadly did not have time for her, but she is not looking back- just onto finding a loving, VERY active home where she can be a part of the fun and games.

Story
Delbert is a lovable dog. For 95% of the time, he's a cuddly, playful, well-trained, low-maintenance, docile creature who wants to rub up on you, nap, or play fetch. He's potty-trained, leash-trained, and knows how to sit, stay, fetch, and roll over on command. He's fine to spend time alone while his owners work during the day. He sleeps through the night. He's good with cats. He loves his daily walks and an occasional run, but doesn't need to burn off a ton of energy. He's four years old. His MO is to lie at your feet or cuddle in bed. He loves treats. Delbert is also dealing with trauma. When he gets scared, he reacts with aggression. He needs slow, closely observed introductions to new people. His ideal home would not involve many strangers. If he fears a new person or dog, he might bark and lunge at them. He should be muzzled on walks. Delbert will exude love, so long as he feels safe.

Story
Java is a friendly, fashionable, and fun 4-year-old girlie. She’s athletic and loves playing fetch, walks in nature, chasing rabbits, and swimming; but most of all, she loves cuddles! She is smart and loves to play in the snow, and lay in the sun. Her favorite treats are chicken and quinoa, and cold coconut water on a hot day. Java loves warm soapy baths and is a perfect smedium size for any home. She would thrive with someone who enjoys the outdoors, or with a family with children or other dogs to keep her active. I unfortunately work two jobs that cover Sun-Sun and will soon start a doctorate program, so I am unable to give her adequate time, but hoping the right family comes through soon so she can have a great summer!

Story
Jack Spratt is 6 years old Loverboy thst makes friends everywherehe goes.  He is such a combination of great breeds and his DNA profile is probably everything but the kitchen sink. For now let's say Lab/ Boxer mix with sprinkles of lots of other puppy dog tail wags.  At 6 years, he is a 64 pound, handsome dude that is strong. so easy going and a happy go lucky boy. His only manners need is to not pull on a leash.  He is potty trained, neutered and UTD on shots. He loves all people and playing ball is his favorite. Good with other dogs but no cats. Jack enjoys romping in a fenced yard and he likes the car rides.  He loves everyone and everyone who meets him falls fast and hard in love with him.  He never stops smiling or wagging his tail.  He is a favorite at at the vets office too.  We call him our gentle giant love muffin !  His human is undergoing serious medical issues and reluctantly must rehome this sweet boy she loves so much. Its heartbreaking for her.  Whoever adopts him is getting a lifelong, loyal and loving friend.  There is no better dog. If you are interested in treating yourself to a great dog and companion then email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com and let's have a talk!  PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.April 27, 2024, 10:00 pm
