Cash is a beautiful young purebred Yellow Labrador Retriever, born May 28, 2025, whom we got from a breeder as a puppy. He is neutered, trained, and an incredibly loving, playful, friendly dog. Cash has a wonderful temperament and is great with children and other dogs. This is a very difficult decision for our family because we truly love him. Unfortunately, our busy work and family schedules don't allow us to give this young, active Lab the time, exercise, and attention he deserves. Cash has done absolutely nothing wrong, we simply want what's best for him. Meet Wallace! This handsome guy is going to make someone very happy! Wallace is a relatively calm dog but will always be excited and happy to see you when you come home. He loves hanging out at home with his family but is always up for a hike or play time. Wallace is affectionate with his humans, but he may need you to give him space initially and let him tell you when he is ready for affection. If you do that, it seems that he will feel “heard” and will seek you out for affection. He does bark when he sees people outside the home, but not excessively, and will happily greet your guests. Wallace currently has a dog door to a fenced yard, which he absolutely loves. This might be the best setup for him. On walks, he does well but would prefer to be allowed to sniff everything. So if you’re in a hurry, trying to get your steps in, Wallace may not be the best fit for you. He can be reactive at times toward other dogs while on a walk. When it comes to canine buddies, Wallace is selective. With a proper introduction, he does well with some dogs, whereas other dogs he will not tolerate. So he would probably be happiest as an only dog but may be able to have a few dog buddies if you take the time for a slow intro (e.g., a few walks together). Wallace has not lived with cats as far as we know, though he does not appear to have very high prey drive when he sees squirrels and bunnies outside. Wallace likes to be given a little space when he is lying in a comfy bed or enjoying his food, a toy, or a bone. He has been known to growl or show his teeth in this context but has never bitten anyone. Out of an abundance of caution, we recommend that he go to a home with no kids younger than teens. This sweetie is about 10 years old, neutered, and has no known health issues. He weighs about 50-60 lbs and is thought to be a golden retriever mix. He will be brought up to date on vaccinations prior to adoption. He is housetrained and does just fine without being crated. Wallace’s family is moving overseas and can’t take him with them. Current Location: Vienna, VA Buck is a handsome 4-year-old Golden Retriever Poodle mix with a gorgeous golden coat, a strapping 60-pound build, and a whole lot of enthusiasm for life! Buck is curious about the world around him, especially when he spots a deer, bird, or squirrel. He may try to pull toward them, but he can be redirected and continue his walk. He is still working on his leash manners and learning to walk on the left with a loose leash. He is making progress and will benefit from continued practice and positive reinforcement. Buck is also a big fan of food, which comes in handy for training. He is working on “sit” and occasionally demonstrates what we like to call selective hearing. His hearing seems to improve dramatically when there is a treat in hand or a food bowl nearby! He can get very excited when it is time to come out of his crate or go for a walk. He may jump, pace, and work himself up before settling into the activity. With consistency and patience, he is learning to manage that excitement. Buck is a good eater, sleeps through the night in his crate, and is quiet and comfortable while crated. He is generally a quiet boy and has only barked back at a particularly chatty Miniature Pinscher. Best of all, Buck enjoys other dogs and would love having a canine companion. He is already neutered and ready to find a family who will appreciate his big heart, handsome looks, and enthusiastic personality. Buck is a wonderful combination of sweet, curious, energetic, and goofy. He is still polishing his manners, but he is a very good boy who is ready to keep learning with a family of his own.
