Pet Location: Wayside WaifsMy Friends at Wayside say: - Don`t let my age fool you, I still have a lot of energy!- I love all kinds love toys!- I already know some commands!- I was housebroken during my time in foster.- I am eligible for a Slumber Pawty, a 7-10 day in-home trial period. Please visit our website for additional information. My home needs are: - I must meet other dogs in the home before adoption to ensure that we can be buddies. - Wayside recommends bringing your children 9 years old and younger out to meet me before adoption to make sure they enjoy my enthusiasm for life!Hiya, I’m Bunny! I’m a 10-year-old lab lady who proves that age is just a number. I still have plenty of pep in my step and a fun, energetic personality that keeps life exciting. Don’t let my age fool you…I love to move, play, and enjoy every moment to the fullest! One of my favorite things in the world is playing with other dogs. I’m social, playful, and always ready to join in on the fun, never letting my years slow me down. When I’m not busy playing, you can usually find me enjoying my other favorite things: treats (yes, please!), toys of all kinds, and spending quality time with my people.I was so lucky to get to spend a few glorious days in a loving foster home. It was an incredible break from shelter life, and my foster mom quickly fell in love with my sweet spirit and my playful, silly antics. I made myself right at home as I settled into the household routine. I was completely housebroken, with no accidents at all. I don’t like staying in a crate, but there is no need for that, because I have perfect house manners. In foster, I didn’t bother a thing in the house. I loved going for walks or hikes and playing with my toys. I was friendly and polite with everyone. I am a low maintenance friend, and an easy dog to love. I’m back at the shelter now, where it will be easy for you to find me. I hope you come soon! I’d do great in just about any home as long as I get the attention, exercise, toys, and love I deserve. I thrive when I’m included, engaged, and showered with affection. And don’t worry because I promise to give that love right back.If you’re looking for a joyful, spirited companion who brings energy, smiles, and a whole lot of heart, I might be the Bunny you’ve been waiting for. Come meet me and let me show you how much fun a “senior” pup can be! Love, Bunny

Hi there! I am a lovable little puppy! Even though I am cute as a button I will take some work as I adjust into my new home. Don`t get me wrong, we will have a lot of fun in the meantime but I will need time to understand what`s expected of me. I will need help on all those fun puppy things like house training and basic obedience. I want to learn everything I possibly can. I am pretty excited about life and doing new things! My goal is to be your lifelong companion and I should learn quickly with praise, treats and little patience. I`d really love for us to get enrolled in training classes, after all school is the best way to get us both educated on what it takes to raise a puppy! It will be fun to watch me as I`m learning, after all puppies can be pretty silly. If you`re ready to take on all the fun and companionship, come on out to Wayside Waifs today!

Pet Location:Wayside’s Canine Behavior Center – I`d love to show off all the cool things I’ve learned at Wayside! Please arrive at the shelter before 4pm on our open adoption days to meet me! My Friends at Wayside say:- I am enrolled in Peace Academy. This is a program for dogs to learn advanced skills to manage their energy. My adoption comes with a free 30-minute private training session. - I`m a lovable goofy boy who loves all kinds of toys! - During my time at Wayside, I have enjoyed being around other dogs. - I was born in a shelter and have not yet lived in a home, so I will need patient adopters who are prepared to help me learn how to live in a home! - I am eligible for a Slumber Pawty, a 7-10 day in-home trial period. Please visit our website for additional information. My home needs are:- I must meet other dogs in the home before adoption to ensure that we can be buddies. - I need a home with kids 10 years old and older who will enjoy my enthusiasm for life! - A fenced yard is a must for me! I need a secure area to run around and release my energy. - I have a lot of energy and need an active adopter! For my safety, I need to go home on an anti-slip collar called a martingale collar. For your convenience, we sell them in our retail store, Whiskers and Wags.Check out my super cool new video! Scroll through my photos to watch it. Hi, I’m Jake! I’m a 1-year-old Lab with a big heart, a goofy personality, and lots of puppy energy to share. I had a pretty rough start to life but I haven’t let that get in my way of living a happy life. I was born in a shelter and haven’t yet had the chance to live in a real home. Because of that, patient adopters who understand that I’m still learning and are excited to help me grow are very important to me… Could you help me become the best version of myself? I’m a fun, higher-energy guy who loves to stay busy! Toys are one of my absolute favorite things, and I’m especially good at tossing them around and entertaining myself. I also really enjoy being around other dogs and would love opportunities to keep building my social skills with canine friends. With that in mind, I would prefer to meet any new doggie friends before going home, just to be sure we will make the best of friends! While I’ve been at Wayside, I’ve made huge strides thanks to a training program called Peace Academy, which helps dogs learn how to
