My Friends at Wayside say: -I’m smart and food/treat motivated!-Balls, squeaky toys, rope toys, I love them all! -Chews, Kong-like feeders, puzzle toys—help to keep me entertained! My home needs are: -Wayside recommends you bring your dog to meet me before adoption to ensure we can be buddies. -I need a home with kids 6 years old and older who will enjoy my enthusiasm for life!Hi there! I’m Belle, and I’m ready to bring energy, fun, and a little bit of mischief into your life. I’m super smart and very motivated by food and treats, so training me is a breeze when snacks are involved! I love toys of all kinds, balls, squeaky toys, rope toys, you name it, I’m obsessed. Chews, Kong-like feeders, and puzzle toys keep my mind busy, and I love figuring out new ways to play. Life is always better when there’s a challenge (and a treat at the end).I’m a social pup and really enjoy meeting new friends, but I also want to make sure I get along with your furry family. Wayside recommends bringing your dog to meet me before adoption so we can see if we’re the perfect match. I’m playful and affectionate, and I love being around dogs who enjoy games and companionship as much as I do. Making doggy friends is a big part of what makes me happy!I thrive in a home with kids 6 and older who can match my energy and excitement for life. I’m full of curiosity and enthusiasm, and I love being part of the action. If you’re looking for a clever, playful pup who’s always ready for games, cuddles, and a little bit of chaos, I’m your girl. Life with me is never boring. I’ll keep you smiling, laughing, and on your toes every single day! Meet me soon, okay?Love, Belle

Pet Location: Wayside Waifs Campus- please arrive before 4pm on our open adoption days if you are hoping to take me home the same day!My Friends at Wayside say: - I am from a hoarding situation. I will likely need extra time to adjust to home life. I have lived with other dogs but have not socialized with people. Things like walking on a leash and going through doorways can be challenging for me. Adopting me will be extremely rewarding, but I need time to learn. - New people and things make me a little nervous. Let’s take things slow! I need a patient adopter who will give me time to warm up to living in a home.- Balls, squeaky toys, rope toys, I love them all! - I have displayed some touch sensitivities. Ask our staff for more info! My home needs are: - Wayside recommends you bring your dog to meet me before adoption, as I enjoy hanging out over playtime. - I need a home with kids 10 years old and older since I tend to be nervous around new people and loud noises.Hi, I’m Cora! I’m a sweet girl who’s had a rough start. I come from a hoarding situation, so I’ll need extra time to adjust to life in a home. New people, new places, and new experiences can make me a little nervous, so patience and understanding are super important. Things like walking on a leash or going through doorways might feel challenging at first, but with love and guidance, I’ll learn and grow into the confident companion I know I can be. Adopting me will be extremely rewarding for someone willing to take things slow.I’m playful too! Balls, squeaky toys, rope toys, I love them all and can spend hours having fun with my favorite toys. At the same time, I’ve shown some touch sensitivities, so it’s important to ask the staff for tips on how to handle me gently and keep me comfortable. I like to explore at my own pace and need someone who respects my boundaries as I learn to trust and relax. For my forever home, Wayside recommends that you bring your dog to meet me first. I enjoy spending calm time together more than active playtime. I’d do best in a home with kids 10 and older, since I can get nervous around loud noises. If you’re patient, loving, and willing to give me the time I need, I’ll reward you with loyalty, companionship, and plenty of cuddles once I feel safe and happy!Love, Cora

Sometimes all you need in life is for someone to believe in you. Sometimes you just need your one little chance to shine for everything to fall into place. That’s what happened to me! I was given the gift of a foster home, and suddenly I was able to show everyone what an amazing dog I am. Quite simply, I’m just a really good boy. The best boy! I’m gentle, sweet, and affectionate, yet independent enough to not be clingy or needy. And I’m playful and silly and so much fun. I’m always ready for whatever adventures await, but I’m perfectly content to be a homebody as well. All I truly want in life is your attention and for you to spend time with me. That’s what makes me happy. I hope maybe I can make you happy too. I would love the chance to be your dog.I’m a handsome, 1-year old, 63-pound typica

Pet Location: Wayside Waifs CampusMy Friends at Wayside say: - I am enrolled in Waifs with Wisdom. This is a program for dogs to learn basic commands and leash walking skills. My adoption comes with a free 30-minute private training session. - I’m a little shy—slow and steady wins the race with me.- My foster said I am very affectionate once I get to know you, and I want to be a lap dog!- I’m smart and food/treat motivated. - My foster said I did a good job of not getting into things in the home when I was left unattended. - I am eligible for a Slumber Pawty, a 7-10 day in-home trial period. My home needs are: - I must meet other dogs in the home before adoption to ensure that we can be buddies. - I need a home with kids 6 years old and older since I tend to be nervous around new people and can be touch sensitive. - Wayside requires bringing the whole family out to meet me before adoption - new people can make me a little nervous.- New people and things make me a little nervous. Wayside recommends that I have a low traffic home.Hi, I’m Marnee! I’m a 2-year-old girl who came to Wayside with a very important job… raising my newborn babies. I was a wonderful mama, and now it’s finally my turn to find a loving home! I can be a little nervous when meeting new people, so I’ll need to meet my future family (and any dog siblings!) first to make sure we’re a good match. Once I get to know you, though, my true personality shines. I’m incredibly affectionate and quickly turn into a total lap dog! I love leaning in for pets, bouncing around happily, and seeking comfort from my people when I’m feeling safe.Treats are one of my favorite things, and I’m very sweet and gentle once I’m comfortable. I enjoy being near my humans, but I also have an independent side and am happy doing my own thing, too. I like exercise and would do best in a quieter home where I can feel relaxed and secure. If you’re patient, kind, and looking for a loving companion who bonds deeply with her people, I just might be your girl. Meet me soon, okay? Love, Marnee
