A mom nursing a litter of 9 puppies with their eyes barely opened were found alone in a rural area. The mom, Nora, was emaciated and also turned out to be heartworm positive. Nora has been a great Mom to the babies and now that they are weaned she can start her heartworm treatment. Mom will be available for adoption at a later date. Her babies are all social, happy and playful. They are good with people and other dogs. We do not know what they think of cats. Some of the pups look alike and others don't which means different daddies were probably involved. Cassidy is about 11 weeks old and weighs about 10 pounds. Please help Cassidy find the loving home she deserves. Nora's puppies: 4 boys (Ethan, Nate, Riley & Tyson) and 5 girls (Anna, Cassidy, Daisy, Katie & Nova) ***You must provide a vet reference for a current or past pet you have/had.*** We do NOT ship our animals. Fudge is a great dog - he is a very happy dog and loves to be petted. Fudge is good with people and prefers the company of female dogs. He has wagged his tail at cats but has not had direct interaction with them. This handsome, blue eyed boy walks nice on a leash, keeps his kennel run clean so he seems to be housebroken. Fudge was picked up as a stray and ended up at the shelter when no one ever claimed him. Fudge is about 2 years old and 50 pounds. Please help Fudge find the loving home he deserves. Update: Fudge had tested positive for Lyme & Ehrlicchia, 2 common tick borne diseases. He has already completed his course of oral antibiotic and doing great. Navi has a beautiful plush, dark grey coat. She is an outgoing, playful girl who loves attention. She is good with people and other dogs but has not been around cats. Her breed is kind of a mystery. The vet wrote her down as a Lab mix but there is some gene that is keeping her on the smaller size. At about 3 months old she only weighs 7 pounds. Our guess is that she may possibly wind up being 25-30 pounds full grown.
