MEET RONDA! The foster mom says about this incredibly sweet and wonderful girl: "... she is good with everyone! She is a complete darling -- super loving and affectionate." Ronda is an amazing shelter survivor, doing incredibly well in her foster home. She is with few other dogs and LOVES them. She LOVES her humans, too. She is learning some basic commands but is very food motivated and picks it up quickly. She already know the house routine and does very well. She is truly a sweetheart that just wants to be loved! AND she is a great, petite size at about 35 lbs. She may be fine with cats, right now she is a bit "scared" of them, other times she isn't bothered. Ronda is about 2.5 yrs old and weighs about 38 lbs. She is UTD and spayed, chipped. Please note that Ronda does have limited vision in one eye from a previous unknown injury. Meet Pete! Arriving Dec 21st.  Pete is a 2.5-year-old, 51-lb neutered Boxer mix with a friendly, loving personality. He was a shelter favorite thanks to his sweet nature and easygoing temperament. Pete does well with other dogs and is great with kids, making him a wonderful family companion. Pete came to the shelter after his owner lost their home in a fire and could no longer care for him. Despite this sudden change, Pete has remained resilient, affectionate, and eager to bond with people. Pete is ready for a fresh start with a family who will give him the stability and love he deserves. Hi there! My name is Stan, and I’m a sweet Black Lab mix weighing in at 55 lbs with the silly Lab energy and stance. I’ve been hanging out at the shelter in Mississippi for the past three years until I was brought up north, now waiting for my forever home. But don’t let that fool you—I’ve got the warmest, golden brown eyes and a heart full of kindness. I’d been sharing a kennel with my best bud, Happy, and we’ve become quite the duo but Happy was recently adopted and I’m here alone.  The folks at the shelter and previous fosters say I’m a very good boy, and I absolutely LOVE people. I can’t tell you how happy it makes me to get some special attention when someone takes me out to play. I’m affectionate and ready to shower you with love.  I’ve got great energy and am always up for some fun, but a lower stimulation home would be best. I can be a little jumpy and exuberant (more so than Happy for sure) as we've never really lived in a home before. Some training might do me some good, along with a patient family willing to give me a chance in a home and a real life filled with love. A quiet home with older kids would probably be best, as I'm big and strong, not always knowing my own strength. I absolutely LOVE all toys.  My happy place is with a chew toy which will keep me busy for a long time!
