Meet Blaze!
Age: 3–4 years old
Breed: Basset Hound/Labrador Retriever mix

Blaze is sweet as pie and guaranteed to melt your heart. This low-riding lovebug is the total package—affectionate, loyal, smart, and always ready for cuddles and kisses! He walks beautifully on leash, responds well to treats, and is already showing great progress with training.

What we’re working on:
• Barking – He tends to bark at night when left alone, likely due to some separation anxiety from being raised with his brother. He’s already improving with consistency and care.
• Jumping – He’s just so excited to shower you with love! With continued training, he’s already showing wonderful progress in just a week.
Blaze would thrive in almost any home—whether you’re single, a couple, or a family. He wants nothing more than to be part of your daily life, and he’ll reward you with endless devotion and tail wags.
Bonus: Blaze is around 38 lbs, making him the perfect compact companion for road trips, hikes, or cozy nights on the couch. He truly shines when he’s with his person and is continuing to build confidence when left alone.
Note on cats: He’s currently unsure around them—our cats didn’t appreciate his curious bark—but he may settle with proper introductions.
