Story
It’s getting cold outside, but Cooper will melt your heart all year around. This endearing pooch has the eyes of a hound dog and looks at you with devotion, love, and loyalty. Cooper is friendly with dogs and people. He’s ready to play and snuggle! We think he’ll do great with any family that’s dedicated to giving him the consistency of ongoing training. A fenced-in yard would be ideal, but Cooper should thrive with regular walks and outings. He’s gentle taking treats, responsive, and can’t wait to meet his new family! Cooper is a big boy who will love a nice soft bed in addition to curling up in your lap. Cooper is up to date on vaccines and neutered. Interested in adopting Cooper? Please email Start II at start2nj@yahoo.com.

Story
Meet Petey! Petey is a handsome 3-year-old Lab/Heeler mix who recently arrived to New Jersey and is looking for a family to call his own! At 55 pounds, Petey is the perfect combination of playful and cuddly. He’s a low energy guy who enjoys running and playing, but he’s just as happy settling in for some quality cuddle time with his people. His current foster mentioned he's one of the calmest dogs they've ever seen! He’s good on a leash, doesn’t bark much, and is fabulous with both kids and other dogs. And then there’s Petey’s special talent: he’s an Olympic-level jumper! When Petey gets excited or wants your attention, he’ll happily bounce straight up and down like he’s auditioning for the canine Olympics. It’s an impressive and pretty adorable little quirk that is guaranteed to make you smile! Petey is not good with cats, so he needs a cat-free home. Petey is neutered, up-to-date on his vaccines, and ready to leave the shelter life behind. If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate companion who can enjoy an adventure with you and then curl up beside you afterward, Petey may be your guy! Petey is ready to find his forever family. Could that be you? To meet Petey, submit your application at www.peace4paws.org/adoption-application (use laptop or computer). Not able to adopt right now? You can still make a difference in Petey ’s life! Fostering is another wonderful way to help, or you can donate toward Petey ’s care while he waits for his forever family. Every bit of support helps us give sweet dogs like Ann  the love and care they deserve. Story
Meet Snuggles, the affectionate 3 year-old, 48-pound lab mix with a heart as big as her name suggests. Coming all the way from Mississippi, Snuggles spent her entire life thus far in a shelter until fate smiled upon her and she found herself rescued by Peace4Paws, where she was finally embraced by a loving foster family. This is her first taste of what a real home feels like, and she's thriving in the warmth of companionship. Socialization is second nature to Snuggles, who happily interacts with her sister and other dogs, wagging her tail in delight at every new friend she makes. Her love extends to people too, showering them with kisses and hugs, eager to bond with her newfound human companions. She loves being around the presence of children and would thrive as a family dog. Initially timid upon arriving in New Jersey, Snuggles has blossomed with patience and care. Richie from Greta Trains Dogs attests to her remarkable transformation, noting how she quickly shed her nervousness to embrace trust and adjust to her new surroundings. Despite spending considerable time in pens and kennels, Snuggles maintains her playful spirit, finding joy in outdoor adventures and car rides alike. Now, she seeks a second chance at a life beyond the four walls of her former enclosure, yearning for the love and stability only a forever family can provide. Rest assured, Snuggles is spayed, fully vetted, and up to date on all her shots, boasting a clean bill of health according to reports and observations. If you're ready to open your heart and home to this sweet soul, visit https://peace4paws.org/adoption-application from your laptop or computer. Snuggles can't wait to embark on this new chapter of her life with you. Not able to adopt right now? Story
One day this beautiful girl just showed up, went away, came back...and stayed.  That's how she arrived into rescue.  She picked the right house to show up at!   Her name is Jade.  She's a young, energetic pup.  She loves the resident cat who we are guessing sometimes wishes that Jade would choose someone else to play with - lol.  Jade is also good with other dogs and of course, people as well.  She weighs 53 pounds and is estimated to be about a year old.  When she went for her vet for her vaccinations and exam, the vet commented on what a  beautiful and good girl she is. She's scheduled to be spayed at the beginning of May and can arrive to the NJ area on our May transport. Personality: friendly, playful, affectionate, energetic Good with: people, cats and dogs Estimated date of birth: April 2025 Weight: 53 pounds Medical: vetted, up to date on vaccinations, scheduled for spay, microchipped Location: Currently located with a foster in Texas, but if adopted, will come to the NJ area on our next transport. Story
✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to JFK & EWR💟 💙 Name: Raum 💙 Gender: Female 💙 Age: Estimated 3 months old (Born in June 2026) 💙 Weight: 3.2 kg / 7.05 lb 💙 Adogs News Account: @_adogs_ 1️⃣ Health Condition * Too young to be spayed. * Giardia and canine coronavirus to be retested. 2️⃣ Rescue Story * Raum is the puppy of #AdogsNunsongi, born inside the Gimje City Shelter. As the mother was weakened after giving birth and the harsh shelter environment was too severe for young pups to survive, Adogs step in urgently to rescue the mother and her puppies. 3️⃣ Basic Information ❗️As Raum is still a very young puppy, she may need training in areas such as separation anxiety, potty habits, biting, nipping, whining, disorderly behaviors, howling, and barking. ❗️Since her father is unknown, it is difficult to predict her final adult size, weight, and shedding level. ❗️Puppies grow rapidly before 10 months of age, so her current appearance may slightly evolve compared to her earlier photos. * With People: Shows zero shyness. Eagerly approaches newcomers with a wagging tail and snuggles cozily into people's arms. * With Dogs: Plays playfully with her littermates and snuggles up close with them when sleeping for comfort and warmth. * With Cats: Has not met any cats yet. * Separation Anxiety: Currently unknown due to communal setting at our center. Will require gentle routine training upon moving into a home. * Potty Training: Currently potties indoors on pee pads at our center. Will need gentle retraining when adapting to a new home. * Hygiene: Patiently and calmly accepts basic grooming care. * Walks: Has no walk experience yet as she is still completing her puppy vaccination series. * Car Sickness: Has not been observed yet; will be further monitored. * Shows ZERO aggressive biting. Normal puppy mouthiness or nibbling may occur while she is teething. * Has shown no barking or whining so far. Gentle behavioral training will be needed when adapting to a new home. * Just like any happy puppy, Raum is lively, playful, and full of high energy. Is a pure, gentle sweetheart who gets along wonderfully with sibling pups and greets people warmly. As she is currently teething, she shows natural puppy curiosity by nibbling on nearby objects.
