Ginger's foster mom wrote to tell us what an amazing dog she is. This is her experience with Ginger. She loves everyone and everything. She loves to curl up and cuddle (she thinks she's a lap dog) and she is the snuggliest pup I have ever met! During the day, she is so relaxed while I do my work, she just curls up next to me or goes to sleep on her bed - just super go with the flow. She's a major velcro dog, and yet does not seem to struggle with separation anxiety. I have been practicing crate training and leaving her alone for short periods of time throughout the day and she does an amazing job, no barking, crying, or destructive behaviors. She was a bit difficult on the leash when I first got her, as she had never been on leash, but I started using a gentle leader harness and it has made a WORLD of a difference and she is super easy on the leash now. We are working on "heel" on the leash but with the gentle leader she barely needs the reminder to heel. However, she would only pull out of excitement since she just wants to say hi to every human and dog we walk past! The world needs to know how amazing of a dog she is! She is just a wonderful, sweet, silly dog who makes the best companion. Age: 2 years. WT: 51lbs. Temperament: Good with all people and dogs. Osbert is affectionately known as "Pup" because he is still a puppy at heart. He is a medium-sized chocolate brown lab mix with a playful, loving, goofy personality. Pup wants all the belly rubs, cuddles, and tennis balls he can get. He has made best friends with two of his foster dog brothers. He also loves to lay with some of his foster cat siblings, if they let him. With playful cats he will play, and with scaredy cats he will just let them be. Pup would love to have another dog as a playmate and a family to curl up with in bed at night. Pup does not prefer to be alone in a closed door room. He rather follow you around. He prefers not to be crated but will go into one and eventually calm down with a bone or toy to keep him occupied. She is house broken, crate trained, and is a polite companion while riding in the car. Dora loves playtime, especially if there are other dogs around. She will chase some cats so a cat free home would probably be best. This funny girl will make a joke out of dinner time and will sometimes carry her food bowl around the house! Where did all the dog toys go? They are in Dora's bed. She says thank you very much - they are acceptable. She is quiet and very rarely makes a sound, but instead lets you know what she wants by pawing at you to play or looking out the window by the door to let you know that she needs to go outside. She loves to be outside and is looking forward to walks with her future family. Dora is just stunning with soulful hazel eyes - she deserves a loving home. No one has to ask "Scooby Dooby Do where are you?" because we know they are safe in rescue! Scooby and his nine siblings were living in horrible conditions. Their Mom & Dad were kept tethered and their puppies were being kept in a dirt floor kennel after Mom weaned them. We also know that there was also more than one daddy visiting the yard while Mom was in heat. Luckily the owners agreed to surrender the puppies and allow us to help get Mom & the resident Dad fixed. The siblings have all been to the vet to get their medical needs taken care of, given baths and getting lots of love and attention. They are all happy and playful as puppies should be and get along with kids and other dogs. We do not know what they think of cats. Scooby is about 5-6 months old and 29 pounds. Please help Scooby find the loving home he deserves.
