He has a very sweet disposition and is house trained. He is affectionate with humans and loves to meet new people. Barnie is good with other dogs but isn’t a big fan of felines. He is great with adults but hasn’t had any exposure to kids, so 13yrs and older are recommended. Barnie loves being outside and running around. URGENT- MEET CHANCE! Long Island, NY. Foster/Foster to adopt home needed ASAP. He is a 2 y/o 90lb Labrador/Ridgeback mix. He is an affectionate dog that loves to be right by his owner's side. His family's dynamic changed and they are no longer able to care for him. He was adopted at 3 mos via a large local rescue that is known for not taking back their animals. Family tried to rehome him on their own, to no avail. Chance normally has good energy, but can also lay around for half the day. He loves short bursts of play in the yard to tire him out. He seeks to be pet often. He knows many commands and is fully house broken & crate trained. He is neutered, microchipped and UTD on all vaccines and preventatives. Ideal family will have prior large dog experience and no children under 13 due to his size & inexperience. He has not yet been cat tested and would need proper dog introductions. As per her current foster mom, She loves to hang in the garden, lay in the sun, and nap at your feet. She’s not clingy and does not require cuddling, as she is quite the independent woman. She has no issues with separation anxiety and would be okay with a human who worked outside the home. Cats unknown at this time, but she can be cat tested if need be. She would do best in a peaceful home-maybe with another senior like her, or a mature adult singleton/couple. No children under 15 due to her size/lack of exposure and some visual impairment. Sammy is a beautiful and regal Lab mix who is 4-5 years old and weighs approximately 70 pounds. Long Road Home rescued this sweet boy when he was lost and brought to a shelter. He was obviously owned by someone who loved him because he's a sweetheart. He's the smartest dog we have in our group and he's also a super fun boy who absolutely loves other dogs. He's living with a wonderful Foster family and loves going on adventures with them. His favorite store is Petco and he loves to sit and watch the world go by. He's such a good and obedient guy and is nice and calm. He's dreaming of being rescued by a great adopter who has a fenced in yard and another dog for him to play with. A doggie sibling isn't necessary and even a neighbor's dog would be great because he just loves to play. He gets along great with everyone he meets and acts like a 2 year old pup. He's been medically vetted and is neutered and up to date on all his vaccines so he's ready to fly. This great pup is Knight and he's a very sweet Black Lab mix who 3-4 years old and fully grown at 50 pounds. He's perfect for folks who love the Lab breed but prefer a medium sized pup. He gets along great with everyone he meets and just wants to be loved and part of the family. He loves playing with dogs of all sizes and isn't the ringleader or reactive to other dogs at all. He's also very respectful with other dogs....one of his pals is a dog who needs a wheelchair and you can't believe how much fun they have together! When he's on his walks, he pays no attention to other dogs he sees which is so nice. He loves to go swimming and exploring hiking trails so count him in for any adventure! He's very smart and knows lots of commands (sit, shake, down, stay). He's such a good boy and wants to please you and gives the best kisses. He's also a snuggler who likes to watch a good TV show too! He's totally housebroken, crate trained and so well behaved. He'd love doggie sibling and a fenced in yard so he can play to his hearts content. He's such a great pup and deserves a wonderful and loving home.
