She was surrendered by her family in 2024, she was an indoor dog - she has good manners and a calm demeanor. She is up to date with her vaccines, HW- and spayed. Her fur is thick and longer - more like a retriever but she doesn't shed a great deal. Cher's energy level is low-medium; she loves to go for walks in the woods and play ball in the yard. She has been in playgroups in the past and would be ok going to a dog park. She appears to have some leash training. Cher gets along with puppies; she would do well in a home with another female dog who is calm or would thrive as an only fur baby. If you would like to meet this deserving pup; and give her a true forever home where she can be pampered and loved, please fill out an application! She is also available for foster to adopt. Hi there, I’m a handsome little male Lab/Terrier mix puppy named Radar. I am almost 5 months old, weigh 22 lbs, and I’m blind. I was sitting in a “kill” shelter in Uvalde, Texas, when 4 Little Paws rescued a couple of us and brought us to a foster home in San Antonio. Right away, my foster mom noticed I couldn't see, and a trip to the vet confirmed it. Amazingly, just a few days later, I was already navigating the house with ease, remembering where the furniture is and the steps are, running around the house playing with the other dogs as though I could see. My foster mom was amazed and says I am uber smart, learn quickly, and I am a very good boy. I’m now vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, and ready to find a forever home! I am a very happy and outgoing puppy, not shy at all, and I make friends easily with everyone, humans, cats, and dogs. I love playtime with my doggy friends, and once everyone else is done playing, it's snuggle time! I am affectionate, yet independent, not needy or kissy, and when being held, I’m usually trying to wriggle free so I can play. I'm not barky, but I have a cute little voice I use to remind you it's mealtime, or if I need something, and I have already learned some housebreaking skills. I have amazing hearing, and I adjust quickly to new people and new surroundings. East Coast people, inquire about me today! Howdy folks! I am a pretty black & white female Labrador/Terrier mix named Nugget with soft, velvety ears you could rub all day long, LOL! I am about 5 years old, weigh 48 lbs, and I was dumped at a middle school in San Antonio, Texas, with a bag of dog food and a wire kennel. Thankfully, I was in my element with all the kids petting and playing with me, and I’m the type of girl with a happy and energetic spirit, so when a dog rescue picked me up, I adjusted easily. These days, I am living in a foster home, having some fun with the resident dogs, kids, and visitors. I am now spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready for a new adventure to find a forever family that will last forever! My foster mom reports that I am a very sweet and friendly girl, and I make friends easily with everyone. I love playtime, tug-of-war, running, and wrestling, but am a bit of a rough player. I love my people and am super affectionate, and would love to be included in family activities such as walks to the park, hiking, camping, social gatherings, road trips, and fun at the beach- The world is my oyster, and I am already dreaming of all the fun we could share! I’m a smart girl and rarely bark, but when bored and alone, I might chew on an available shoe or throw pillow. I am crate-trained, good in a crate, not destructive, and that’s where I currently sleep and stay when home alone in my foster home. I will cry at first when left behind, but will settle down quickly and chew on a toy or take a nap while I wait for your return. Overall, I am a happy, friendly, loyal, sweetheart of a girl, looking for love and that wonderful feeling of belonging. I know my future looks bright, and I hear the Eastern Seaboard is the place to be, so inquire about me today! AWESOME DOG ALERT!! Hi there, I may not be the prettiest girl out there, but I will be once you know my personality! My name is Joy, and that name describes me! I am a black Lab mix, a bit overweight at 65 lbs, about 3 years old, and I’m truly lovely. Sweet and gentle, I’m friendly with everyone: dogs, cats, and humans, and I have a heart of gold. I’m quiet and housebroken, and I know how to use a doggy door, so I’m self-sufficient. I was just a puppy when I was dumped at a gas station in Von Ormy, Texas. It was 5 am in the freezing rain when the attendant found me and called a local dog rescue to pick me up. Things started great, but a month later, my hind legs began to bow, and I was walking funny. A trip to the vet and a few X-rays later, it turns out my wonky knees and goofy walk are a permanent part of my life, so I’ve adjusted. I enjoy playtime in spurts of about 30 minutes, and then I take a break and watch the other dogs play. I love going for walks, about ½ mile, then I stop and rest for about 10 minutes before heading back. I love rides in a car and spending time with my people, watching TV, or just relaxing in my doggy bed. I’m a very good girl, not needy or pushy, a joy to love and a joy to be with. Sadly, I’m still waiting to be adopted, so before I become a senior citizen here in Texas, 4 Little Paws is helping me find a forever home somewhere on the Eastern Seaboard, and I couldn't be more grateful!
