Story
Riley is a sweet girl that my son and I adopted about 5 years ago. I've had her ever since. She is not much of a tail wagger when meeting new people. She's been a great apartment dog that I take on 2 daily walks to do her business. She reacts to both rabbits and squirrels but I have mostly trained her not to chase while on the leash unless I say okay. She rarely pulls on her harness otherwise. She generally doesn't like small/toy dogs especially if they growl or bark at her. She has been introduced to a few of my friends medium sized and big dogs successfully. We were told that she didn't like small kids when we got her. So, I have not tested that. She also enjoys an occasional roll in the fresh cut grass. Not to worry, as she does pretty good at the groomers now that we've been in a rhythm. I'm only looking to rehome her because my wife is allergic to her.

Story
Hello! I am a beautiful, sweet 8-week-old male Labrador Retriever puppy looking for my ultimate forever home. I was brought home yesterday by a loving owner, but due to a sudden, unexpected medical health crisis and severe anxiety, my owner realized today that they are physically unable to provide the intensive care, time, and environment that a young puppy needs. It was a heartbreaking realization, but the choice to rehome me is being made entirely out of love to ensure I get the best possible life with a family who is fully ready for a puppy. I am an absolute sweetheart! I love to cuddle, I am very affectionate, and I am already doing wonderfully with my crate training. Because I am so young, I will need a family who has the time to house-train me, teach me my manners, and give me lots of love. I am coming with my crate, my bed, and my current food so that my transition to your home is as smooth and comfortable as possible. If you are looking for a loyal, sweet Lab companion and are

Story
Burt arrived at our rescue last July in rough shape—underweight, heartworm positive, and with a torn ACL that needed surgery. Over the past year, he’s gained healthy weight, completed heartworm treatment, and recovered from ACL surgery. Now, he’s finally ready to find a home of his own. Burt is an easygoing, well-mannered dog. He is potty trained, doesn’t need to be crated, and gets along with other dogs—though he prefers relaxing to playing. A calm home with a mellow dog would be the best fit for him. Burt is 11 1/2 years old, weighs 63 lbs, and is Lab/Pit Bull mix (our best guess). If you think Burt could be a good fit for your family, visit www.rescuerowinc.org to apply! *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 3 business days. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows paid by cash, a check made out to Rescue Row, Venmo: @Rescue-Row or at Zelle: info@rescuerowinc.org Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##2124712##

Story
Yuri (Lab Retriever Mix) is a sweet boy, we rescued him at 3 months old and nursed him back to health. He has a big personality and loves to talk. He loves cuddles as well. He loves people watching out of the window and very food motivated. He is crate trained. He’s never been alone more than a few hours out of the day so the idea home would have companionship majority of the day. Yuri has been a joy to our family, unfortunately the baby is allergic to him and consistently sick the past year so now it’s time for Yuri to bring joy to a new home.

Story
My name is Nikki. I am a 9 year old lab. My daddy recently passed away with me by his side. My sister is letting me live with her, but she is unable to keep me, but she said it’s not because of me! I’m very calm, prefer to be indoors, and love to chew on my stuffed lamb. I like to be on the couch but will not climb all over you. I can hold my bladder all day, never have accidents! But please do not leave your burger unattended cause I will eat it. I am fine around all other animals, but prefer to be an only child. I would love to be a companion to a senior human so we can relax together. Please help me find a loving home. I come with a kennel, leash, my favorite toys, and some gifts for my new parents!

Story
Meet Nemo — our handsome 6.5-year-old Retriever mix with the sweetest face and those adorable ears that stand straight up!Nemo is the definition of a laid-back best friend. This sweet boy has a gentle, loving personality and absolutely adores being around people. He recently got to go out on an adventure and did amazing! Nemo was excited to explore new environments, happily let people pet him in the store, and soaked up all the attention like the social butterfly he truly is. He also rode wonderfully in the backseat, making him an excellent companion for road trips, errands, or weekend adventures. While Nemo enjoys lounging around and relaxing with his people, he still loves getting out for walks to stretch his legs and explore the world. Because of his easygoing nature, he could do well in either a house or an apartment setting as long as he gets regular walks and exercise. When he’s not out adventuring, Nemo enjoys soaking up the sunshine, staying close to his people, and handing out hugs. And if you really want to become his favorite person? Chicken jerky treats are definitely the way to his heart (though he’s still working on taking them a little more gently!).Nemo can be selective with other dogs, so a meet and greet is required. He may also be happiest as the only pet where he can soak up all the love and attention for himself. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who is equal parts adventure buddy and couch potato, Nemo is ready to become your very best friend.

This slightly chunky lady is looking for a family to love her just as she is while helping her live her healthiest life.Dixie has a calm, easygoing demeanor that makes her a wonderful companion. She walks nicely on a leash and enjoys leisurely strolls where she can take in the sights and spend time with her favorite people. Because of her relaxed personality, she would likely do well in either an apartment or a house. She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but give her a little time, a few tasty treats, and you`ll quickly discover what a sweetheart she truly is. Once Dixie trusts you, she transforms into a total love bug who enjoys affection and being close to her humans. In fact, treats may just be the fastest way to win her heart!Dixie would love a family committed to helping her shed a few extra pounds through regular walks, exercise, and healthy habits. Story
Sandy is a 1.5-year-old tan Retriever mix with long legs, a goofy smile, and enough energy to keep life exciting! This tall and lanky girl is always ready for her next adventure and would absolutely thrive with an active family who can keep up with her playful spirit.Sandy loves to run, play, and explore the world around her. Whether it’s hiking trails, trips to the park, or long walks around the neighborhood, she’s happiest when she’s on the move with her people. She’s very social and enjoys being near you, soaking up pets and attention whenever she can. Treats are definitely one of the quickest ways to win her heart, too! This fun-loving girl does still need some work on her basic manners and training. She can be strong on the leash, so a harness is highly recommended to help make walks more manageable while she continues learning. Sandy can also get a little mouthy when she gets excited, so she would do best in a home without young children.Sandy appears to be dog friendly, but as always, a meet and greet is required to ensure compatibility with any current dogs in the home.If you’re looking for a playful, adventurous companion who will happily join you on all of life’s adventures while learning and growing by your side, Sandy may be your perfect match!
