My son rescued 3 puppies at Cedar Creek Lake that had been abandoned. The neighbors in the area were all caring for them but my son wanted to bring them to Frisco to find homes for them. I adopted Luckee. He was three months old at the time. He is a very smart, sweet dog but my husband and I are older(retired) and he has grown to be a large, strong dog .. too big for us to handle. We also have small grandchildren that come over and are afraid he might jump on them not meaning to hurt them. It breaks my heart to realize that he is just too big a dog for us and that he needs a younger person to adopt him. He is now a little over a year old. He has never had an accident in the house and is crate trained. As I said earlier, he is very smart. At night, he will lay down on the floor by our bed. We have an older (10 year old) Pekingese that does put him in his place if he gets too playful. He needs someone who can train him and is able to walk him etc. We are in our 70’s and aren’t able to.

This is Moose. Super loving and energetic boy who is almost 3 years in July. I have had him since he was 9 weeks old. He loves two things, food and his ball. Will play fetch for hours. Needs to be in a very active home and he will thrive. I hate to separate from him but I want him to have an amazing life, he deserves it.

Tubbs is 11 months old, he was born approximately on December 12, 2022. He is one of the most friendliest, goofiest, and very active dog out there! He does think he's way smaller than he is so he tends to squeeze in small places and sit on everyone's lap, he's a big cuddler! He loves to run and boy can he run fast so fetch is one of his favorite games. He loves chasing everyone in the house until he catches you. Tubbs is very good with other pets, he would better be suited in a home with another dog or cat that likes to play. Or parents that are very active. He has grown up with a 6 year old but again, he forgets he's not tiny so he would be clumsy with smaller children but does love them! He's a big loving teddy bear and is ready to find his forever home!

Sweet boy Apollo is only two and half years old, yet he's been in THREE homes and THREE foster homes. He is such a good, sweet boy, it just breaks our hearts that he's never been given a REAL CHANCE! Apollo is crate and potty trained. He walks well on a leash and does great in the car. He is dog and kiddo friendly, and has even learned to peacefully coexist with the kittys. He is an active guy but also has a chill mode!  Apollo would make an excellent running partner or the perfect snuggle buddy! He's super smart, eager to please and very treat motivated! Apollo absolutely LOVES his people and loves to snuggle! He loves splashing in the water, chasing balls, carrying around his toy octopus, riding in the car or curling up in the smallest bolstered bed in the house. His FAVORITE activity is being as close to his human as possible because he is so eager to be loved! Black dogs are so often over looked. Please don't overlook this guy. He is so much fun and had an incredible amount of love and loyalty he's just waiting to shower you with! Apollo is fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped and current on prevention. Lola is such a SWEET dog! We have been fostering this dog for a family member who moved away but we can’t keep her because of travel schedules. Lola is a beautiful dog with pretty eyes. She is lovable and silly. She sleeps all night long in her doggy bed. She only barks when she hears or sees another dog walking by the front of the house and not for very long. She is great to walk with. She has times during the day when she is ready to play, but the rest of the time she is calm and sleeps. She does great in a kennel, and she is also fine to be left out when you’re not home. She wants to give love and be loved. She makes a great companion! If you adopt her, you will get her 2 dog beds, kennel, dog food, treats, toys and heartworm medicine.
