Story
Hi everyone, This is Shiner, a gentle and sweet 3-year-old Lab mix. I’m looking for a new home for him as my wife recently passed away, and I’m moving. Shiner deserves more love and attention than I can give him right now. About Shiner: • Breed: Lab mix • Age: 3 years old this September • Weight: Approximately 40 pounds • Temperament: Active yet very chill, great with people and other dogs, zero aggression • Housebroken: Yes • Health: Microchipped, last vet visit in January 2023, due for another round of shots • Neutered: No (not required as per vet consultation) I adopted Shiner about 6 months ago, and he has been a wonderful companion. If you’re interested in giving this sweet guy a forever home, please get in touch with me.

Story
Please help us welcome Louie to Rescue Row! He was listed on the euthanasia list at a shelter. Once one of our supporters saw him there, they reached out to us for help. Louie joined our care, and we are so relieved that he now has a second chance at life! This boy is as sweet as can be. He’s great with everyone he meets, including kids. He’s about 7 months old and 35lbs. We sent off a DNA test to determine his breed mix. We will update the page when the results come in and when we learn more about Louie and the kind of home he needs! If you are interested in adopting, please submit an application at www.rescuerowinc.org  *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 3 business days. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows paid by cash, a check made out to Rescue Row, Venmo: @Rescue-Row or at Zelle: info@rescuerowinc.org Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##2110336##

Story
We met Balto as an outreach dog who we had assisted in getting vaccinated and neutered. Unfortunately, due to the family’s home situation they were unable to keep him. Balto is a 7 month old Pit Bull mix and is such a sweet boy. He is great with other dogs and would love a canine playmate in his forever home. He is good with all humans, big and small, and is a total love bug! He is potty trained, crate trained and ready to find his forever home. If you are interested in adopting Balto, please submit an application at www.rescuerowinc.org *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 3 business days. Story
Tubbs is 1 year old, he was born approximately on December 12, 2022. He is one of the most friendliest, goofiest, and very active dog out there! He does think he's way smaller than he is so he tends to squeeze in small places and sit on everyone's lap, he's a big cuddler! He loves to run and boy can he run fast so fetch is one of his favorite games. He loves chasing everyone in the house until he catches you. Tubbs is very good with other pets, he would better be suited in a home with another dog or cat that likes to play. Or parents that are very active. He has grown up with a 6 year old but again, he forgets he's not tiny so he would be clumsy with smaller children but does love them! He's a big loving teddy bear and is ready to find his forever home!

Story
Sweet boy Apollo is only two and half years old, yet he's been in THREE homes and THREE foster homes. He is such a good, sweet boy, it just breaks our hearts that he's never been given a REAL CHANCE! Apollo is crate and potty trained. He walks well on a leash and does great in the car. He is dog and kiddo friendly, and has even learned to peacefully coexist with the kittys. He is an active guy but also has a chill mode!  Apollo would make an excellent running partner or the perfect snuggle buddy! He's super smart, eager to please and very treat motivated! Apollo absolutely LOVES his people and loves to snuggle! He loves splashing in the water, chasing balls, carrying around his toy octopus, riding in the car or curling up in the smallest bolstered bed in the house. His FAVORITE activity is being as close to his human as possible because he is so eager to be loved! Black dogs are so often over looked. Please don't overlook this guy. He is so much fun and had an incredible amount of love and loyalty he's just waiting to shower you with! Apollo is fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped and current on prevention. All he needs now is an amazing family of his own! Fill out an adoption form and come meet this guy already!!! ##1383171##

Story
It is a heartbreaking decision, that we must rehome Mable. We are moving out of state, and we are not able to accommodate bringing pets. Mable is a very sweet, gentle girl. She can be quite shy at first, but she loves being outdoors, especially in cold weather. She absolutely LOVES snow! She has a very chill, go with the flow personality, and loves to take naps, as well as running and playing fetch. We adopted Mable at about 4 months old from a local shelter in 2018. Although she has never been around cats, she gets along great with other dogs and children, and I believe she'll do great in a loving home.
