Story
We have had Henry for the past 8 years, and love him so much. My wife and I got him as a puppy in 2016, after a friend of ours found him, his mother, and three other puppies as strays. We are not sure the exact history, but we surrendered the mother and 3 puppies to a no kill shelter where they were adopted. We kept Henry, raised him in our home and have been his only owners since. He is really sweet, gentle with people, charismatic and inquisitive. He is also anxiously attached to us, and is reactive towards dogs. He has bitten dogs before at the dog park just for coming between us and him, so we made the decision to stop taking him to dog parks and keep him as an only pet. He has never hurt a human, but started showing reactive behavior towards our newborn daughter, though he never hurt her, but we simply wont accept the risk. We made the heartbreaking decision to try to rehome him, otherwise we will euthanize at home where he is at peace. Please contact for more info if you can help

Law is 6 months old. Law is very energetic. He is very sweet and loving. Extremely shy- runs away from strangers instead of bark. Once he gets use to you, he will become attached until he becomes more independent. He loves belly rubs first thing in the morning and will thank you with a smile. He is great with other pets and kids. But don’t forget he has a lot of energy and LOVES to play.

Story
Kirby is a sweet boy of mixed breeds - his vet described him as a Lab/Shepherd mix. He has been neutered. He is approximately 9 years old. He was adopted as a puppy, found in an industrial parking lot near a dumpster and rescued, in 2015. He is not aggressive toward other dogs, and after being around them a bit, he seems to enjoy their company. He is not possessive of his food. We suspect that he would thrive in the company of other dogs who accept him. He needs to be lovingly rehomed, as his current human - this poster's brother- is dealing with some health issues and a possible relocation, and can no longer care for him.

Story
When Burt first joined the rescue, he was in rough shape—underweight, heartworm positive, and suffering from a torn ACL. But this resilient senior has come a long way! He’s gained healthy weight, completed heartworm treatment, and successfully underwent surgery to repair his ACL. Now, Burt is finally ready to find his forever home. At almost 11 years old and weighing 63 lbs, Burt is a gentle soul—likely a Lab/Pit Bull mix. He’s fully potty trained and non-destructive, so he doesn’t need to be kenneled. He gets along well with other dogs, but he’s not one for playtime; if there’s another pup in the home, they should be content just relaxing together. Burt’s been through a lot, and now he’s ready to enjoy his golden years with a loving family by his side. If you are interested in adopting this sweet senior, please submit an application at www.rescuerowinc.org *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 3 business days. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows paid by cash, a check made out to Rescue Row, Venmo: @Rescue-Row or at Zelle: info@rescuerowinc.org Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##2124712##

Story
Onyx is a 4.5 month old black lab/Great Pyrenees mix. He is energetic, playful and sweet! We have unexpected family issues that are causing us to relocate and cannot provide him the space he needs. He is great with kids, loves to be outside especially in grass! He loves other dogs but has not experienced cats. We rarely hear his bark and loves tug of war, fetch and belly rubs. He is house trained and kennel trained and knows basic commands; sit, bed, up (jump), eat, lay down, shake and “leave it.” He’s a great listener but always needs a bone or toy to chew on!
