Born in February 27, 2022 She is a very good dog, she is very needy, playful and barks A LOT when she wants attention or wants to play, or go for a walk, run. she loves to meet new dogs, she is very social! loves attention but then also sometimes wants her space. she is a very good company dog! do not get her if you work long hours and can’t deal with her, i want her to be with someone that can pay attention to her, that can take her for walks and she is very loud so consider that also. some people might not tolerate a hyper dog, or a needy dog so also consider that. also don’t consider taking her if you work night shifts, she needs attention. thank you! i have a busy schedule, so that’s why i can’t take her.. i work long hour night shifts. she is a good family dog, thanks.

Meet Kodi — proof that age is just a number. At 12 years old and just 6.5 pounds, Kodi is the kind of loyal, low-maintenance companion dreams are made of. He’s house-trained (even in the rain!), sleeps quietly through the night in his crate, and quickly mastered the doggie door like the smart little guy he is. Kodi loves nothing more than being near you—happily curled up at your side or trotting along on a walk, just glad to be included. He is gentle, calm, and full of life, with so much love left to give. He eats only canned food due to his lack of teeth and his age. Kodi didn’t deserve to be surrendered to a shelter by his owner but now he’s ready to be someone’s whole world. Maybe yours? We are a RESCUE GROUP, not a shelter, and all of our animals are in foster homes. To start the adoption process, email us at adoptions@earstexas.org requesting an application. Submitting an application does not commit you in any way, but helps us make the best match between people and our available dogs. Your current or past dogs must be inside dogs who have been spayed/neutered and are on heartworm prevention. All of the dogs in our program are inside dogs and are completely vetted including all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, free of internal parasites, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention before adoption. Our adoption process includes an application, check of vet records or personal references, interview, neutral site meet & greet with the dog and your family, and a home visit.
