Maybe a Unicorn family so to speak? I’ve been called “A terrible dog”. Unpredictable and just plain crazy. People just haven’t been able to understand my quirks. I’m nothing but misunderstood!! I do need some time to adjust as something in my past has left me very nervous. My human mom passed away and I was put into the system. I’m used to a quiet and peaceful home. My human foster sister is my most favorite person ever and her mom is pretty nice too. If you have patience and lots of love I’m your guy! Am I a bit of a challenge? Maybe!! Am I cute as cute can be? Definitely!!, Am I worth the effort? You bet I am!! I am an adorable and smart little boy. When I like you….I would do anything for you!! If I don’t, then I’m a bit of a tiny Jerk!! Investing your time and love into me will be so worth it!! I promise!! I am good with other animals. I get along with all sizes and ages of dogs. Delia is a little ray of sunshine! She’s as sweet as they come, loving, happy, and always ready to soak up every bit of affection you’re willing to give. Whether she’s cuddled up next to you, napping in a sunny spot, or heading out for a nice walk, Delia is simply happiest being part of your day. She loves her food, her people, and all the simple pleasures in life. Her foster family shared that she settled into their home quickly, as if she’d always belonged there. Delia is friendly and affectionate, though she can be a little hesitant around new people at first and prefers gentle introductions. She doesn’t like being startled or picked up by people she doesn’t know well, but once she feels safe, her sweet personality shines through. She’s also quite vocal when she’s excited or wants to tell you something! For her age, Delia has a surprising amount of energy and has recently discovered how much fun toys can be. She especially enjoys playing with her foster sister and joining in on daily activities. While baths aren’t exactly her favorite thing, she tolerates them like a champ. Delia came to us from animal control, but it’s clear she was once very loved and cared for—she has wonderful manners and an easygoing nature. Adaptable, affectionate, and full of personality, Delia would thrive in a patient home that respects her boundaries and gives her the love and reassurance she deserves. Meet Amber Amber is a 5-year-old Maltese weighing just 10 pounds, looking for a loving forever home through Tiny Paws Small Dog Rescue. Amber came from a puppy mill, so she is still learning that people can be kind and trustworthy. She can be timid at first, but she is making progress every single day with patience, love, and gentle encouragement. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and especially loves her best friend, Betty. The two of them run and play in the fields together and are constant companions indoors and outdoors. Because she loves the companionship and confidence she gains from other dogs, Amber would do best in a home with another friendly companion dog. Amber uses puppy pads, rides nicely in the car without getting sick, and takes treats very gently from your hand. She also enjoys curling up in your lap and being softly petted. Amber is still gaining confidence, so she will need a calm, patient home that understands she needs time to fully blossom after the years she spent in a puppy mill. She is also considered a flight risk, so a physically fenced yard is required for her safety. Invisible/electric fences will not be considered.
