Meet Finn!
Finn is a very sweet, affectionate boy who is learning to build his confidence and discovering just how wonderful the world can be. He’s a champion snuggler, a professional kiss-giver, and an all-around gentle soul who truly loves being loved.
Finn gets along beautifully with other dogs and is very respectful when meeting them—he’ll politely sniff and wait to see how they feel before engaging. He’s curious about cats and would love to play, but when they hiss he simply runs away, showing just how soft-hearted he really is.
He walks well on a leash and surprised everyone by walking right into his kennel on his own as soon as he got home. Finn is still learning about toys and bones, but he’s already discovered that peanut butter and treats are excellent life choices. He understands “no” and, aside from the occasional zoomies (complete with happy barks and playful running), he’s a very calm and easygoing guy.
Finn is wonderful with kids of all ages. He met an 8-year-old at PetSmart and was completely unfazed by repeated pets, greeting her gently with sniffs. With toddlers and even babies, Finn was incredibly soft and appropriate—sniffing calmly and even offering a sweet little kiss.
He’s affectionate and loves attention, but he’s also comfortable doing his own thing when the mood strikes, making him a nice balance of cuddly and independent.
Finn will thrive in just about any loving home. He would be a great choice for a first-time giant breed owner thanks to his gentle temperament and easygoing nature. While he enjoys the company of other dogs, he doesn’t need a canine companion to be happy. A fenced yard is not required—what Finn truly needs is attention, patience, and lots of love.
If you’re looking for a kind-hearted, affectionate dog who will happily fit into almost any family, Finn might just be your perfect match.
