Story
Our Foster mom's a little crazy... Or sweet as pie yet she named us after jellies and jams. We're a playful bunch that loves to pounce, play a game of chase, or wrestle with each other. We LOVE LOVE LOVE water!!!! Splashing and rolling around in the kiddie pool or playing with the water hose. After all that playing, we're ready for some snuggles and take a nap in your lap. Everyone we meet kids, dogs or new people becomes an instant friend! Our mama is about 14 lb and she looks just like Chocolate Jam. Our dad was a yellow scruffy about 30 lb and he looks more like Marmalade. We'll be small to medium. Chocolate Jam and Fig will probably be under 20 lb.. Grape Jelly and Ginger Peach will probably be under 30. Apply today for a jelly or jam. Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $500 (includes transport to your area, $50 temporary fuel fee will be included)

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   Bailey is a sweet, 3 year old mixed breed, guesses on the breed mix, Rat Terrier or JRT/Beagle/Whippet? (guessing!) She is a very sweet girl, has lived with other dogs, but is better with dogs her size or bigger and maybe better to mix with males. She was a little dominant with a smaller, meeker female than her (Terrier!? ) So best with perhaps male or larger, males or can be a solo dog. Interested in adopting? Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   3 year old brother and sister pair Bonnie and Clyde are NOT, I repeat NOT anything like their namesakes - zero criminal history.  Maybe a “stolen” treat or “kidnapped” stuffie.   Similar to the story of Bonnie and Clyde, they are a story of love.  Bonnie is the sibling that makes sure to keep an eye on things. She’s the one that will start the puppy, play bow to get the wrestling rolling. Clyde will be the doggo that wants to gently stretch his legs up on your body, waiting for a head scratch. They are never far from each other, and are still learning to be brave and open up, since coming into rescue. They are both non-reactive to dogs on walks, but they are definitely new to walking on leashes in a busy suburban neighborhood, since they’ve been living for the last year at a vet's office in Kentucky. Since they are very curious and still getting used to living in a home, they will require a secure yard.   Bonnie and Clyde are currently being fostered in a home with other dogs and everybody is getting along great. Currently they are sleeping in a crate together at night, but they could easily transition to no crate and your bed.  I mean - what dog can’t love their human’s bed? They spend a good deal of time watching the “nature show” that’s tuned into the back patio door.  If you have an interest in dabbling in agility or fly ball, these siblings would be a fun pair to train. What could be better than to wake up to one of these sweet pups; waking up to two, of course!!  Interested in adopting? Please complete an appropriate interest application at   https://redemptionroadrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=4003 redemptionroad.mn@gmail.com http://redemptionroadrescue.rescuegroups.org https://www.facebook.com/RedemptionRoadRescue  All animals fully vetted appropriate for age: Spayed or Neutered Rabies vaccine DHPP vaccine 4DX test (@12 months or older) Microchipped Dewormed Flea/tick prevention  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 21, 2024, 2:48 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.    Hi there! My name is Haley, and I'm a 4-year-old Fox Terrier. I'm a petite and charming lady, weighing in at just 18 pounds. I’m learning all the ins and outs of being a beloved pet, and I must say, I'm making some wonderful progress! At home, I'm quite the attentive girl, always keen to listen to all the sounds around me. I haven't quite developed a taste for treats yet, so my foster family praises me with kind words, pets, cuddles, and my absolute favorite – head scratches! It took me a couple of weeks to come out of my shell, but now I'm a playful and energetic companion. During the workday, I have free roam of the kitchen and access to my kennel. I’m proud to report that I've never had an accident in my kennel or caused any trouble in the kitchen. I'm a very well-behaved lady, even when I'm on my own. I’m a little shy and prefer to eat my meals when I have some privacy, so I'll usually eat my first meal during the day when no one is watching, and my second meal overnight. I'm learning how to walk on a leash, and I just love sniffing all the plants along the way. I do my business while we're out walking, although I'm still figuring out how to poop on a leash. Treats don't motivate me, so potty training is taking a bit of time, but we're getting there! I don’t need a fenced yard, but I do enjoy exploring and playing when I have access to one. I'm curious and happy, always ready for a new adventure. I've met a few other dogs my size, and I like to play and pounce around with them. When I'm lounging on the couch, I enjoy digging around in the blankets and pillows. Toys aren't really my thing right now, but who knows, maybe I'll learn to love them with a doggie sibling to show me the ropes. I do require another dog in my forever home to help me continue learning about being a dog. I'm looking for a forever home where I can continue to learn and grow, preferably with another dog to guide me. If you're looking for a sweet, quiet, and playful companion, I might just be the perfect match for you! *Please note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders. Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared. Each dog receives basic grooming when coming into rescue, but for some dogs they have not received grooming attention until recently and grooming may be required shortly after adoption. This will be at the adopter’s expense, so we encourage you to research the breed and be prepared for grooming expenses. Underdog cannot guarantee hypoallergenic or non-shedding qualities of any dogs in our rescue. Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans. In turn, they require another companion dog and/or a fenced in yard in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. If you are interested in a particular dog whose bio states those needs and do not currently have them, please understand that your home might not be the right fit. Please use the filter on our Adoptable Dogs page to find the perfect match for your home.   ***Be sure to check your spam/junk folder as sometimes our emails end up there*** Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.If you have other questions about me you can email Underdog Rescue at <inquiries@underdogrescuemn.com> ADOPTION EVENTS:      Adoption events are updated at the top of each dogs animals' as their foster home signs up. Check back for updates on which events they will be attending. If an event is not listed within their bio above, the animal is not planning to attend.  Please understand that all of our pets are in volunteer foster homes and sometimes "life" happens and the foster family cannot make it to their scheduled adoption event. If you are traveling from a far distance to meet a specific animal, please understand we cannot guarantee event attendance. We recommend filling out an application and we will set up a private appointment. Private appointments are only scheduled after an application is submitted and approved. ADOPTION PROCEDURE: The first step in our process is to complete an online adoption application on our website: http://www.underdogrescuemn.com/adoptionprocess/   Note: In most circumstances Underdog Rescue will only adopt within 60 miles of Minneapolis, MN.  All of our foster animals can be seen by appointment with an approved adoption application. Contact us at http://www.underdogrescuemn.com/contact-us/ if you have further questions. FOSTER CARE: All of our animals are fostered in individual homes or doggie daycare facilities. While they are in our care, they are part of our families and given lots of love. We work on training, crate-training and socialization prior to adoption, but each bio is written by the foster as they see them, in their home. Each animal's behavior is evaluated and we have a sense of its temperament and personality, but it cannot be guaranteed. We look for adopters who will give each animal the wonderful life and permanent home that he or she deserves in time and with patience.  If you have an interest and ability to be a foster home, please visit our website  www.underdogrescuemn.com/foster-applications  and fill out a foster application. NUTRITION: Nutrition is vital to the rehabilitation and life-long health of our pets.  All of our foster animals are fed a premium diet such as NutriSource, Canidae, Orijen, Nature's Variety, Fromm, Pure Vita, Stella and Chewy's, Primal, or balanced raw diet.  All adopters are required to continue providing premium diets for the life of the animal.
