She loves kids of all ages and has done well with puppies and older dogs. Marlee is a great dog. We adopted her three years ago before we became foster parents. She’s always done well with people, other dogs, cats and older children (5 and up). Recently we found out she does not like toddlers and unfortunately our foster agency wants her rehomed. She knows sit, stay, lay, shake, and come (needs a little work on come). She loves walking and running. If you choose to love her, she will come with a leash, harness and dog bowl. She is crate trained. She prefers her crate. She will go to her crate with a “crate” command. She is extremely smart and loves solving doggy puzzles. She also loves chewing on hard toys, but has never had a problem with chewing on shoes, clothes or furniture. She needs a furever home soon! Message me to meet up so that you can meet her!

Please read the bio & email the address listed in the bio.   Additionally for CATS you  may email  JShelton@eulesstx.gov and for DOGS, email trinitygapclub@gmail.com       Meet our newest Luke.  This Rhodesian Ridgeback/Blackmouth Cur mix is a big boy who found himself at the shelter when his owner passed away.   There was no family to step up for Luke, so he is stuck at the pound.  This is so sad and unfair for a dog who does not understand why he is now homeless or where his beloved owner has gone. Luke loves people and always has a big smile on his face.   He has shown no aggression to other dogs and appears to be very genial to others. Luke walks well on a leash and we think he is potty trained. Luke is a good looking dog, but at 95 pounds, could use to lose about 10 pounds.   He would be a great dog for someone wants a dog who is already trained to be a great companion.   He is neutered and up to date on shots. Ellie started out with us as a young pup. She was adopted out, only to be dumped at the shelter at another state. Summer was born approximately on July 7th 2021. She was found as a stray with open wounds on her legs and feet. Her owners were never found. She spent some time healing at a foster home and she did great. Friendly with people and children. Loved spending time with the family and snuggling and playing with them. She has been at the facility for some time now all healed and working on manners. She is improving her leash training and learning not to jump. She knows sit and understands the command NO. I love doing zoomies in the yard and spending time outdoors. She has made some friends at the facility. Slow introductions would be recommended.
