Story
Mac is a 10 year old, 66 lb Rhodesian Ridgeback mix. Yes, Mac is a senior gentleman with a distinguished gray muzzle, but he is still young at heart! Mac loves everyone, including his tiny human sister and his four legged brothers and sisters, and he play chase with one of the resident dogs. He's faster than you would think! He likes to bring his toys to his soft bed for nap time. He loves going on car rides and stopping at Sonic for his favorite doggie treat. Mac likes his routine, so he needs a calm, quiet, low activity home. If you are interested in an amazing dog who is beyond the challenging puppy stage but still a lot of fun, Mac just might be the guy for you! Mac qualifies for our senior adoption fee of $125.00. Please submit your application at www.humanetomorrow.org, and one of our adoption counselors will contact you.

Story
Sweet, handsome, fun-loving Blake is 1.5 years old and weighs 40ish lbs. We think he is a Rhodesian Ridgeback/Black Mouth Cur mix. He is affectionate and loves to give kisses and cuddle with his people. He is friendly with every person he meets, but he can be a little picky about his dog friends. Blake is an excellent choice for someone wanting an only dog, but we think he would be ok in a home with smaller dogs. He loves to play fetch, and any old ball will do, but he hasn't quite mastered the part of bringing the ball back! He is crate and potty trained. He won't be a good fit for apartment life. Blake will be a super loyal and loving companion. To meet Blake, please submit your application, and an adoption counselor will contact you.

Story
If you are interested in adopting, please complete our Pre-application: To get started you must copy and paste this link into your browser, This is the fast way to meeting your new pet. https://form.jotform.us/asr628/ShortAdoptionInquiry Summer is a beautiful and resilient girl who’s overcome a tough beginning and is now looking for a loving forever home. She was found as a stray with injuries to her legs and feet, but thanks to a wonderful foster family, she healed both physically and emotionally. During her time in foster care, she proved to be incredibly affectionate—she loves people, enjoys snuggles, and plays wonderfully with children. Now living at our facility, Summer continues to work on her manners. She’s doing great with her leash training, is learning not to jump when excited, and already knows commands like `sit` and `no.` She’s eager to please and very smart, which makes her a great candidate for continued training in a patient and loving home.Summer loves doing zoomies in the yard and spending time outdoors. She’s made some doggy friends here with slow, proper introductions, and would thrive in a home that can continue supporting her socialization. This sweet girl is ready to leave her past behind and start a new chapter with a family who will give her the love, structure, and security she deserves. Could Summer be the sunshine your home is missing?Summer was born July 2021Included with adoption: Age-appropriate vaccinations, up-to-date on heart-worm and flea/tick preventative, heart-worm test which includes tick disease testing (if over 6 months), 24petwatch microchip with registration, fecal analysis and health check before adoption, and spayed or neutered- if not already, a voucher is provided which will cover the cost. If you are adopting a puppy all puppy vaccines are covered as well.

Story
I began fostering Kyra four years ago. Kyra was found as a puppy in our apartment complex during the summer time under a car. I have been trying on and off for some time to find Kyra her forever home. Kyra is a very loving and active. She loves attention and being with people, especially outside. She is a little anxious and does better with bigger kids and dogs too. We wish we could be our forever home, but we have a small child and small pet. We hope we can find her a forever home!

Story
PLEASE READ ABOUT PAXTON We are searching for a family for Paxton who can foster him until he's ready to be adopted. Paxton will need a family who has some dog experience and who can handle a big, strong boy. He's very well-behaved and loving and snuggly. His only vice is the leash. He likely had some traumatic experience before he came to us and he's not a huge fan of having a leash on or having it taken off. He's been staying with one of our training teams, and they've made huge progress with him. He has come so far, but he'll need someone who can continue working with him. Without the leash, Paxton is a big ol' goofball. He loves belly rubs and is such a sweetheart. He enjoys playing with toys, and he's a huge fan of snacks. Paxton is a handsome boy and just wants to be your best friend. We would like to find a family who would like to foster Paxton while he finishes up his training and care. He will be able to be formally adopted once he's finished everything ADOPTION APPLICATION: https://iamdogrescue.org/adoption-application/ ***IMPORTANT- PLEASE READ*** Our adoption fee is $175. We require an application to be completed prior to setting up a meet-and-greet. We do not offer "on-the-spot" adoptions. We do not adopt on a first-come, first-served basis. We do our best to match dogs with families that will be a good fit to help ensure a successful adoption. We reserve the right to decline any application for any reason. Due to the nature of our adoption process, our fosters are usually only able to consider forever families within a reasonable driving distance of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. A vet reference is required, and a trial period will be completed before finalizing the adoption. Thank you for your understanding.

With his playful energy and loving nature, he's the perfect companion for someone whoâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s ready for both adventure and snuggles. Bleu was rehomed after his previous family realized they didnâ&#194&#128&#194&#153t have the time to give him the attention he deserves. He currently lives with two foster dog siblings (a dachshund and a chow chow!) and loves romping around with them in the yard. Bleu is crate-trained, house-trained, and making great progress on leash walking. Story
Meet Molly!Molly is a smart, playful, pup who’s ready to find her forever home! She knows her basic commands, walks well on a leash, and is both crate and house trained. She enjoys playing with toys—especially her mini jolly ball (not a tennis ball fan, what a silly girl!)—and gets along well with other dogs with slow and proper introduction. Molly can be a bit unsure when meeting new people, but with a little patience and kindness, she quickly warms up and lets her sweet personality shine. Once she feels safe, she’s incredibly loving and enjoys being by your side.Molly is happiest when she has a “job” or fun activity to focus on. If you want to be an all-star owner, get down with her on the flirt pole or introduce her to a new adventure spot once a week. Want to be a superstar? Give her access to a safe, enclosed field to chase rabbits (her favorite prey!) or explore scent work and tracking with her—she would absolutely love it!She’s been working closely with our trainer and continues to make great progress. Molly is curious, attentive, and has the potential to be an incredible adventure buddy or loyal companion. She will thrive with a confident, consistent handler who can continue to support her growth and build her confidence.Molly’s journey began when she was found as a newborn puppy, all alone with just her sister. Story
Meet Valkyrie – a joyful, playful Vizsla mix with a heart full of love and a spirit that shines through everything she does! This 80-pound beauty is a water-loving girl who lights up every yard and pool she steps into. Whether she’s splashing in the water, chasing toys, or romping around with her dog friends, Valkyrie’s zest for life is contagious. She’s friendly, affectionate, and thrives in an active environment where she can be part of the action and enjoy plenty of playtime and companionship. Valkyrie is also crate trained, house trained, and would do best in a home with older children who are steady on their feet and comfortable around a big, energetic dog. Valkyrie was found in a rural area, injured—she had been hit with birdshot all throughout her body. Despite everything she’s been through, she has made a remarkable recovery and embraces life with enthusiasm and joy. Her strength and resilience are nothing short of inspiring, and she’s ready to leave the past behind and step into the bright future she deserves. Valkyrie was born on February 17, 2023, and is currently being fostered in Fort Worth, Texas.
