Story
If you are interested in adopting, please complete our Pre-application: To get started you must copy and paste this link into your browser, This is the fast way to meeting your new pet. https://form.jotform.us/asr628/ShortAdoptionInquiry Summer is a beautiful and resilient girl who’s overcome a tough beginning and is now looking for a loving forever home. She was found as a stray with injuries to her legs and feet, but thanks to a wonderful foster family, she healed both physically and emotionally. During her time in foster care, she proved to be incredibly affectionate—she loves people, enjoys snuggles, and plays wonderfully with children. Now living at our facility, Summer continues to work on her manners. She’s doing great with her leash training, is learning not to jump when excited, and already knows commands like `sit` and `no.` She’s eager to please and very smart, which makes her a great candidate for continued training in a patient and loving home.Summer loves doing zoomies in the yard and spending time outdoors. She’s made some doggy friends here with slow, proper introductions, and would thrive in a home that can continue supporting her socialization. This sweet girl is ready to leave her past behind and start a new chapter with a family who will give her the love, structure, and security she deserves. Could Summer be the sunshine your home is missing?Summer was born July 2021Included with adoption: Age-appropriate vaccinations, up-to-date on heart-worm and flea/tick preventative, heart-worm test which includes tick disease testing (if over 6 months), 24petwatch microchip with registration, fecal analysis and health check before adoption, and spayed or neutered- if not already, a voucher is provided which will cover the cost. If you are adopting a puppy all puppy vaccines are covered as well.

Story
Hi! My name is Scout, and I’m a 1-year-old, 50-lb female Black Mouth Cur mix. The rescue likes to say I’m a perfect Heinz 57, and honestly, that feels just right! I’m being fostered through Ruff Road Revival. I’m a joyful, playful, and energetic girl who thrives in an active home with a fenced yard and lots of opportunities to move, learn, and explore. I absolutely love to play—whether it’s with toys or other dogs—and I’d be over the moon to have a fun-loving canine companion to share adventures with. I have a confident, spirited personality and naturally enjoy taking the lead, which makes me a great match for a dog who appreciates my enthusiasm and charm.I’m fully potty trained and crate trained, so I already have a great foundation. I’m a smart, eager learner who knows several commands, including sit, shake, down, lay down, and crate—and I’m excited to keep learning more with my future family. I have a big love for my toys and bones and truly enjoy playtime and enrichment—it’s one of the ways I show my happy, playful nature. My foster family has helped me learn great habits and would be happy to share what’s worked so well for me.Overall, I’m a friendly, high-energy, affectionate pup with a zest for life. I would make an incredible adventure buddy and a deeply loyal companion for an active household ready to have fun, stay engaged, and build a strong bond with a wonderful young dog like me.While I’ve been with my foster dad for over A YEAR now, I’d love nothing more than to land in my forever home. If you have lots of land, I will be the happiest girl ever.Apply to adopt me! ##2620235##

Story
PLEASE READ ABOUT PAXTON We are searching for a family for Paxton who can foster him until he's ready to be adopted. Paxton will need a family who has some dog experience and who can handle a big, strong boy. He's very well-behaved and loving and snuggly. His only vice is the leash. He likely had some traumatic experience before he came to us and he's not a huge fan of having a leash on or having it taken off. He's been staying with one of our training teams, and they've made huge progress with him. He has come so far, but he'll need someone who can continue working with him. Without the leash, Paxton is a big ol' goofball. He loves belly rubs and is such a sweetheart. He enjoys playing with toys, and he's a huge fan of snacks. Paxton is a handsome boy and just wants to be your best friend. We would like to find a family who would like to foster Paxton while he finishes up his training and care. He will be able to be formally adopted once he's finished everything ADOPTION APPLICATION: https://iamdogrescue.org/adoption-application/ ***IMPORTANT- PLEASE READ*** Our adoption fee is $175. We require an application to be completed prior to setting up a meet-and-greet. We do not offer "on-the-spot" adoptions. We do not adopt on a first-come, first-served basis. We do our best to match dogs with families that will be a good fit to help ensure a successful adoption. We reserve the right to decline any application for any reason. Due to the nature of our adoption process, our fosters are usually only able to consider forever families within a reasonable driving distance of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. A vet reference is required, and a trial period will be completed before finalizing the adoption. Thank you for your understanding.

🐾 Meet Ruby! 🐾 Ruby is an adorable 8-week-old puppy with a big personality and an even bigger heart. This little girl is full of puppy energy and loves to play, explore, and soak up attention from her people. Ruby is great with kids and other dogs and would thrive in an active home where she can run, play, and continue learning about the world. Like most puppies her age, she’s curious, playful, and ready to be someone’s best friend. Ruby isn’t particularly fond of cats, so she would do best in a cat-free home. She is still a baby and will need a family committed to training, socialization, and lots of love as she grows. In return, Ruby promises endless puppy kisses, zoomies, and a lifetime of loyalty. 💜 If you’re looking for a fun, energetic companion to grow up with your family, Ruby might be your perfect match! Story
Meet Molly!Molly is a smart, playful, pup who’s ready to find her forever home! She knows her basic commands, walks well on a leash, and is both crate and house trained. She enjoys playing with toys—especially her mini jolly ball (not a tennis ball fan, what a silly girl!)—and gets along well with other dogs with slow and proper introduction. Molly can be a bit unsure when meeting new people, but with a little patience and kindness, she quickly warms up and lets her sweet personality shine. Once she feels safe, she’s incredibly loving and enjoys being by your side.Molly is happiest when she has a “job” or fun activity to focus on. If you want to be an all-star owner, get down with her on the flirt pole or introduce her to a new adventure spot once a week. Want to be a superstar? Give her access to a safe, enclosed field to chase rabbits (her favorite prey!) or explore scent work and tracking with her—she would absolutely love it!She’s been working closely with our trainer and continues to make great progress. Molly is curious, attentive, and has the potential to be an incredible adventure buddy or loyal companion. She will thrive with a confident, consistent handler who can continue to support her growth and build her confidence.Molly’s journey began when she was found as a newborn puppy, all alone with just her sister. She was adopted as a young pup and loved dearly, but was recently returned through no fault of her own. Now she’s looking for a second chance at the forever home she truly deserves.Molly was born on March 24, 2023, and is currently being fostered in Fort Worth, Texas. All of our dogs are located in a foster home in Texas, Colorado, or Pennsylvania. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Mutts N Such direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc). Our out of state adoption fee is $350 plus transport (varies by location). This fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, fecal analysis, spay/neuter for pets 6 months & older, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old. All dogs will be current on flea/heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days. Story
I have been trying to find a home for my dog for about 6 months now. She is an absolute sweetheart. Good with kids, dogs and cats. Never bit or even growled at anything. And absolutely gorgeous. She is about 2 years old and I rescued her from a shelter when she was 6 weeks old. I only ever saw her mom who was a Catahoula. She’s not purebred but I don’t know what she’s mixed with, but she looks like a husky. For the first year or so everything was fine because she was a puppy but since she is now full grown (45 pounds) and SO energetic, my older dog isn’t having it. Also our backyard is small, and just don’t have the time for her that she deserves. Asking a $50 rehoming fee (donated to a local shelter) to ensure she is cared for.
