Story
Shiner is a sweet 7 year about to be 8 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback. She loves walks, being with her owners, and is loyal 100%. She loves going to dog parks and playing and running with the other dogs but will always make sure to come and find her owners. The reason for the rehoming is we have a young child and are not able to keep up with the exercise demands that Rhodesians require. She is fully house trained and even did training directly with all dogs unleashed. Her walking ability is great as she doesn’t pull on the leash at all and will walk right by your side.

She was found as a stray with injuries to her legs and feet, but thanks to a wonderful foster family, she healed both physically and emotionally. During her time in foster care, she proved to be incredibly affectionate—she loves people, enjoys snuggles, and plays wonderfully with children.Now living at our facility, Summer continues to work on her manners. She’s doing great with her leash training, is learning not to jump when excited, and already knows commands like `sit` and `no.` She’s eager to please and very smart, which makes her a great candidate for continued training in a patient and loving home.Summer loves doing zoomies in the yard and spending time outdoors. She’s made some doggy friends here with slow, proper introductions, and would thrive in a home that can continue supporting her socialization.This sweet girl is ready to leave her past behind and start a new chapter with a family who will give her the love, structure, and security she deserves. Meet Patsy Cline!Patsy Cline is a 7 month-old Rhodesian Ridgeback mix, sweetie found as a stray in Fort Worth!Patsy is a very smart, energetic puppy who needs an active family and consistency to work on her manners and continue progressing with her obedience training. She needs mental stimulation and gets along with most dogs when properly introduced. She would do fine as the only pup in the home. She gets along great with kids, but prefers older children.Patsy walks well on a leash, is very treat motivated, is crate and potty-trained and ready for a family of her own! She needs to be in a single family home, apartment living is not the life for her.To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt.
