Sweet, handsome, fun-loving Blake is 2 years old and weighs 50 lbs. We think he is a Rhodesian Ridgeback/Black Mouth Cur mix. He is affectionate and loves to give kisses and cuddle with his people. He is friendly with every person he meets, but he can be a little picky about his dog friends. Blake is an excellent choice for someone wanting an only dog, but we think he would be ok in a home with smaller dogs. He loves to play fetch, and any old ball will do, but he hasn't quite mastered the part of bringing the ball back! Blake is very athletic and needs his daily exercise. He loves taking long walks. He is crate and potty trained. He won't be a good fit for apartment life. Blake will be a super loyal and loving companion. Meet Lucy! Lucy is a very high energy, fun-loving, loyal sweetheart. She is very playful, loves to run, and is VERY social. Lucy can be pretty strong-willed, but she is also very smart. She knows her training, but is too stubborn sometimes to obey. She really needs someone to bond with, that will give her the time and devotion she needs. She definitely needs a lot of training, as she is still under 1 year old and we cannot afford the proper training she needs. She also needs a LOT of space, as she LOVES to run and play catch! A fenced in yard, and a very active owner would be best for her. We rescued her at 2 months old from a local shelter but we live in an apartment in the city, and due to heath issues, I cannot keep up with her energy. Even though its hard, we have accepted that we are not the best fit for her, and have chosen to see if we can find someone who can truly give her what she needs! She is so sweet, and the biggest baby, and has so much potential to be your best friend!

Paxton will need a family who has some dog experience and who can handle a big, strong boy. He's very well-behaved and loving and snuggly. His only vice is the leash. He likely had some traumatic experience before he came to us and he's not a huge fan of having a leash on or having it taken off. He's been staying with one of our training teams, and they've made huge progress with him. He has come so far, but he'll need someone who can continue working with him. Without the leash, Paxton is a big ol' goofball. He loves belly rubs and is such a sweetheart. He enjoys playing with toys, and he's a huge fan of snacks. Paxton is a handsome boy and just wants to be your best friend. We would like to find a family who would like to foster Paxton while he finishes up his training and care. Mellow is one of a litter of four puppies that were abandoned on the side of the road, locked in a crate. Luckily, a good samaritan found them and took them to a vet for life-saving care. As the puppies regained their health, they grew a lot! We are now guessing they are Black Mouth Cur/Chihuahua mixes. Mellow may weigh as much as 35-40 lbs when full grown. The BMC breed is know as friendly, affectionate, loyal, playful, and smart, and Mellow is 100% all of those! Foster mom says that Mellow is the sweetest little cuddle bug ever! This smart, playful pup is already crate and potty trained. She enjoys romping around with other dogs but is also perfectly happy entertaining herself with toys. Mellow may be a little shy when you first meet her, but it won't take long before she is trotting around after you from room to room and sitting attentively by your side. He is food and treat motivated which helps with training. He is housebroken, crate trained, and rides well in a car.
