Story

🎶🩷 Adopt Reba or Dolly 🩷🎶 These sisters were dumped and helped by Good Samaritans. They seem to have been in a home at one point because they have very good house manners - potty and crate trained and LOOOVVVEEE their people. They walk great on a leash and are good car riders. Each are about 70 lbs of pure love. Dolly and Reba are 2 years old and have the best smiles and if you want a good tv buddy - they are happy to sit right next to you. In fact, as close as they can to cuddle! They are good with other dogs and kids but chase cats so probably best in a cat free home. The girls look to be hound/ridgeback mixes. Come meet these beauties. Reba and Dolly are available through Animal Advocates of North Texas and are being fostered in Southlake. They will be totally vetted. Please help us by sharing this post!

Story

If you are interested in adopting, please complete our Pre-application: To get started you must copy and paste this link into your browser, This is the fast way to meeting your new pet. https://form.jotform.us/asr628/ShortAdoptionInquiry Summer is a beautiful and resilient girl who’s overcome a tough beginning and is now looking for a loving forever home. She was found as a stray with injuries to her legs and feet, but thanks to a wonderful foster family, she healed both physically and emotionally. During her time in foster care, she proved to be incredibly affectionate—she loves people, enjoys snuggles, and plays wonderfully with children. Now living at our facility, Summer continues to work on her manners. She’s doing great with her leash training, is learning not to jump when excited, and already knows commands like `sit` and `no.` She’s eager to please and very smart, which makes her a great candidate for continued training in a patient and loving home.Summer loves doing zoomies in the yard and spending time outdoors. She’s made some doggy friends here with slow, proper introductions, and would thrive in a home that can continue supporting her socialization. This sweet girl is ready to leave her past behind and start a new chapter with a family who will give her the love, structure, and security she deserves. Could Summer be the sunshine your home is missing?Summer was born July 2021Included with adoption: Age-appropriate vaccinations, up-to-date on heart-worm and flea/tick preventative, heart-worm test which includes tick disease testing (if over 6 months), 24petwatch microchip with registration, fecal analysis and health check before adoption, and spayed or neutered- if not already, a voucher is provided which will cover the cost. If you are adopting a puppy all puppy vaccines are covered as well.

Story

Dakota is about 6-7 years old, all bark and no bite. She's a gentle giant who loves to play and run around with other dogs. She lives with 5 kids, a chihuahua, and a cat. Unfortunately the chihuahua and cat are too scared to play with her because she is so big. She is bored a lot of the time and I'd like to find a home for her with other big dogs and room outside to play.

Story

PLEASE READ ABOUT PAXTON We are searching for a family for Paxton who can foster him until he's ready to be adopted. Paxton will need a family who has some dog experience and who can handle a big, strong boy. He's very well-behaved and loving and snuggly. His only vice is the leash. He likely had some traumatic experience before he came to us and he's not a huge fan of having a leash on or having it taken off. He's been staying with one of our training teams, and they've made huge progress with him. He has come so far, but he'll need someone who can continue working with him. Without the leash, Paxton is a big ol' goofball. He loves belly rubs and is such a sweetheart. He enjoys playing with toys, and he's a huge fan of snacks. Paxton is a handsome boy and just wants to be your best friend. We would like to find a family who would like to foster Paxton while he finishes up his training and care. He will be able to be formally adopted once he's finished everything ADOPTION APPLICATION: https://iamdogrescue.org/adoption-application/ ***IMPORTANT- PLEASE READ*** Our adoption fee is $175. We require an application to be completed prior to setting up a meet-and-greet. We do not offer "on-the-spot" adoptions. We do not adopt on a first-come, first-served basis. We do our best to match dogs with families that will be a good fit to help ensure a successful adoption. We reserve the right to decline any application for any reason. Due to the nature of our adoption process, our fosters are usually only able to consider forever families within a reasonable driving distance of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. A vet reference is required, and a trial period will be completed before finalizing the adoption. Thank you for your understanding.

Story

Her name is Dolly she's 1 1/2 years old. She a very happy god, loves, people and children, she has a happy wiggly butt. She needs a good size yard, loves taking walks, loves to swim. Our older dog punked my dog for the 1 1/2 . They had a fight a few weeks ago and Dolly finally fought back. She broke out other dogs ankle. So they can't be around each our. So I need to re home my Dolly. She's my best friend and I'd like to find another best friend for her. She's not fixed may have to have couple more shots? I paid 659.00 to make her my service dog but I haven't trained her. But is still is trainable. You will love her like I do.
