PLEASE READ ABOUT PAXTON We are searching for a family for Paxton who can foster him until he's ready to be adopted. Paxton will need a family who has some dog experience and who can handle a big, strong boy. He's very well-behaved and loving and snuggly. His only vice is the leash. He likely had some traumatic experience before he came to us and he's not a huge fan of having a leash on or having it taken off. He's been staying with one of our training teams, and they've made huge progress with him. He has come so far, but he'll need someone who can continue working with him. Without the leash, Paxton is a big ol' goofball. He loves belly rubs and is such a sweetheart. He enjoys playing with toys, and he's a huge fan of snacks. Paxton is a handsome boy and just wants to be your best friend. We would like to find a family who would like to foster Paxton while he finishes up his training and care. She was found as a stray with injuries to her legs and feet, but thanks to a wonderful foster family, she healed both physically and emotionally. During her time in foster care, she proved to be incredibly affectionate—she loves people, enjoys snuggles, and plays wonderfully with children.Now living at our facility, Summer continues to work on her manners. She’s doing great with her leash training, is learning not to jump when excited, and already knows commands like `sit` and `no.` She’s eager to please and very smart, which makes her a great candidate for continued training in a patient and loving home.Summer loves doing zoomies in the yard and spending time outdoors. Meet Chuck! He's seven years old, 65 pounds and 100% lovable. Unfortunately, Chuck's family travels too much and can no longer care for him. Legacy Humane Society is helping them find a new family who can give Chuck the time and attention he deserves. Chuck is house trained and can is trusted to roam his home when alone. He loves going for walks, rides well in the car, and loves playing in water/swimming. He is perfectly fine to relax around the house but has plenty of energy for playtime as well. He would do best in a home with another dog and is great with kids. Chuck is a gentle boy who loves being with people but can get a little nervous when he's left alone for long periods of time. He's neutered, vaccinated, and heartworm negative. Dublin is from a Catahoula breeder in Terrell TX that was born June 8, 2020. He's been a great dog, very active, many roadtrips and adventures together. He had an ACL surgery at 2 years old from running around the yard after his ball. He enjoys playing at the park, long walks, and playing fetch. Additionally, he has been through an intense training program that has helped him with communication, commands and leash walking. Although the 6 years have been incredible, we recently had a baby and he has not done well with the transition. He has been displaying behavioral issues and needs to be rehomed. He has been a fantastic dog and have enjoyed all the time I've had with him up to this point.
