Hello, my name is Molly Olly Bodda Butt, but you can call me Molly! I am a senior female dog with a heart of gold. After spending 11 wonderful years in the same home, my life took an unexpected turn when my previous owner had to move to an assisted living facility. Now, I'm on a new journey, hoping to find a family that will love and care for me just like my previous one did. I may be a senior, but I still have a lot of love and life left in me. I am a gentle and affectionate soul, always eager to be by your side and offer you my unwavering companionship. I enjoy the simple pleasures in life, like a cozy spot to nap, a gentle ear scratch, and a tasty treat now and then. I am still adjusting to my new surroundings and getting used to all the changes, but with a little patience and understanding, I know I will thrive once again. My two feline sisters, who are 8 and 10 years old, were surrendered with me, and we are all navigating this new chapter together. Dogs were given from coworker at 3 weeks old. They are both sisters and 7 months old. The more furry one is potty trained with grass pad, while the other still misses the other potty pads. They are very playful and high energy, though the less hairy one (Miku) does like to cuddle sometimes. They are scared of big dogs though and will avoid them. Miku will screech if a big dog goes near her.

Emmie Jade is a darling 5 year old female Shih Tzu. She weighs 11 lbs. Emmie Jade came to Angels very matted so she had to be shaved when she was groomed. She is still getting her coat back, but she’s beginning to fill in and look better. She was also a little underweight so her foster mom is working on getting a few more pounds on her. This little girl is very friendly and has the best disposition. She seems to love all people and is good with all the dogs she has met. She is house trained but does not like being in a crate. Right now she’s sleeping in a bed in her foster mom‘s bedroom. Emmie is almost ready to start meeting families who might want a companion who loves nothing more than being in your lap or near you. Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption. Say Hello to Edith, the Ewok - the cutest, sweetest girl around! Edith is about 7-8 years and just over 20 lbs. She’s very chill and happy to lay on her favorite bed most of the day…but 2-3 times a day she gets all excited and jumps around and spins in circles. It is the cutest thing you’ve ever seen! Edith does have a heart murmur so has to have a pill twice a day but if you put with her food, she’ll just eat it right up. She also has a dry eye condition that clouds her vision a bit and requires once a day eye wipe and drops. However she gets around so well and doesn’t let it stop her. Her foster mom had her yard completely dug up for a few months and she navigated it perfectly. Edith is currently living with several dogs (big and small) and cats and does well with all. She would do best in a house without super rambunctious dogs but seems to like the company of another dog and definitely loves humans. She’s a one of a kind!
