This precious 3 year old, 12 pound, Ewok...er....Shih Tzu came to us from a not-so-awesome past so she is getting lots of space and encouragement in her foster home to help her come out of her shell. She will need continued patience once she joins her forever family! Kacey does well with other dogs and is slowly starting to play with them as she gets more comfortable in her new setting. She is learning all the ways of being a family pet, which includes working on things like potty training and walking on a leash, but it's all a work in progress! She has started to curl up close to her foster mom and shown that she likes to be in a lap, she's just not sure about how to get there. Both of his eyes were damaged so they were removed, he was neutered he got a dental, is up to date on shots, micro-chipped, heart-worm and fecal tested negative. He gets along fine being blind and is good with other dogs. Danny is friendly and sweet. He is about 15 years old, 13 lbs, a shih tzu, and will need regular brushing and grooming to keep his fur looking beautiful. His adoption fee has been sponsored! Nikki is sweet and looking for a great forever home! Nikki is a 7-8 mos old and a very sweet and smart girl. Does well in a quiet environment and is recommended in a family with older kids as she is deeply afraid of small children, and sudden noises and movements. She’d do best in a home with another dog as she does not like to be alone. She is pee pad trained and we are working on her harness and walking but she is fearful of outdoor spaces . She may do best in a securely fenced yard but shows signs of flight risk, so must be watched at all times. She is playful, loves toys and cuddles. Nikki is a breeder release and will be getting a spay soon so we are accepting applications on her. DOB: 8/24/23 and she is a Shichon which is a Bichon Frise crossed with a Shih Tzu.
