Story
Meet Gizmo Giblet! 6 years old and 14lbs. This adorable pup prefers to be the only child so a home with human kids will not be considered for his adoption. Gizmo is the dog for you if you’re looking for a boy that wants to be beside you, no matter what! You understand that he communicates by growling along with nasty comments, and you don’t mind that he will bark and scratch at doors to get your attention when you leave him. He will also help keep friends and family away by barking, growling and snapping at them when they get close to you. He is a happy and playful boy that loves squeak toys and will insist on sleeping beside you and may pee in your bed Interested in becoming a forever home for Gizmo Giblets? Fill out our online adoption application: http://www.friendswithfourpaws.org/adoption-form.html This is the first step in our process, and we don't go any further without an application. Find more adoptable pets, news and information on Instagram @friendswithfourpaws or our Facebook page Friends with Four Paws . We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting Gizmo Giblets. We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and Gizmo Giblets the perfect forever home, and appreciate you working with us. For immediate consideration, please attach your application to the initial inquiry to help us expedite the process. Our adoption fee is $525. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses. All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed. Thank you in advance for your patience with our process and for making adoption YOUR option!

camilo is 2 years old and his birthday is on June 12, he loves to go on walks and play around and loves to eat a lot of food. Sometimes camilo can misbehave and start barking but when you yell at him to stop barking he will listen and stop, camilo will get so attached to you he will protect and follow you around everywhere you go, he is really caring and loves when you rub his belly, unfortunately I can’t take care of him no more because I don’t have time anymore and because of some of his behavior issues. I hope camilo finds a good loving home and gets all the attention he needs

Story
Hi everyone! My name is Nairobi but my foster parents call me Blue. I am a 1 year old shih tzu and this is my story! Personality & Characteristics: I am a very mellow pup who loves to do anything alongside my foster mom and dad! I like to hang beside them while they eat, cook or clean. Cleaning time is my least favorite one but I still enjoy being part of the team! I don't beg for food or bark when you're eating, but if you share your food with me, I wouldn't mind:). I do get a little nervous when my foster parents leave me alone, but I hope you can understand. I got surrendered due to over breeding. I was always together with my parents and siblings from a younge age. I didn't know the last day I saw my family was the last day I would ever see them again. So when I couldn't find them I panicked and started barking in the hopes my family came back. Through this truamatic experience I have used barking as a coping mechanism, so when my foster parents leave I bark for some minutes in hopes they come back. Please be patient with me as I am learning every day through training with my foster parents that they won't just leave me too, like my breeders did. With time and work I know I can overcome this and fully learn to trust again. My foster dog is good with: I am great with slowly meeting new furry friends but sometimes the energy of every other pup can rub off on me and I can get a little pumped up! I however am great with a few frenchies I like to call friends. Two males and one female, I am able to play well with them and I can understand corrections from them to ensure we are playing safely! I've met a cat for a little bit one time but he kept staring at me so I assumed my eyes had surprised him. We maintained our distance but we didn't play much. Kids are not really present in my daily routine but I think I'll like their playful nature. My foster dog is: House trained, low shed, potty trained3 Keywords for your pup: Mellow, clingy with your presence (learining to be more independent), great car seater.Energy Level (1= calm, 10= high energy): Level 3 - I like to play with my chewtoys but prefer to lay around and relax alongside my foster parents.Barker? Or Quiet Pup?: I sleep through the night with no problem. I prefer to stay in the same room as my foster parents, but if they leave me for a while I bark for some time - I am currently learning to overcome this. Overall I don't bark at all and I'm very calm in the house.Walking Manners: Great walker, interesting smells do make me get a little fast during my walks but I listen to redirections, and follow my foster parents where they lead me to.Appetite: Great appetite, I eat twice a day but I love snacks!Favorite Things: There's a couple things I enjoy and love. I love napping under my foster parents bed, and on their bed too lol. I love sticking out my head during a car ride. I also love to eat turkey.Commands/Tricks: I am learning the commands of stay and sit as you read this. ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. The application can be found at  WaldosRescue.org  and once you are approved to adopt you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it’s a good match. We are a RESCUE not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. Story
Curacao is a quiet, gentle soul who’s just now discovering the world — and it’s been beautiful to watch. At 9 years old, this Shih Tzu girl is a breeder surrender who spent her life in a crate. Because of that, everything is new to her: the smell of grass, the feel of a bed, and the joy of a walk. She is curious about everything, stopping often on walks to take it all in. She’s still learning how to walk on a leash, but she’s eager and making progress every day. She rides quietly in the car and doesn’t mind other dogs, people or kids — she just hasn’t had much experience with them yet. She’s not into toys, but she is into food and will follow you around with quiet devotion. Curacao is low-shedding and very quiet — she rarely barks unless left completely alone, and even then, she eventually settles. She is not fully house-trained yet, but she’s making lots of progress. She will need someone patient, present, and kind to help her continue learning what it means to be a dog in a loving home. This sweet girl sleeps best when someone is nearby. She loves to keep you in sight. She doesn’t ask for much — just a calm space, a warm bed, and a human who will help her feel safe. She’s not a lap dog or cuddly, but she’ll be right beside you, always.  Waldos Rescue Pen is a 501c3 whose primary focus is rescuing dogs from the euthanasia list from high kill shelters throughout the United States and Korea. ##2420615##
