Story
Hey there, future best friend! I'm a fluff-tastic Shih Tzu/Pekingese mix puppy with a heart full of wiggles and whisker waggles. They call me Zeus, and I'm on a mission to find a forever home filled with love and laughter. I'm a pint-sized ball of fur, ready to bring joy into your life. I have a bundle of energy and am always up for playtime and puppy shenanigans. But don't let my playful side fool you-I've got a heart as soft as my fluffy coat. Cuteness? Well, it's my superpower! With my soulful puppy eyes and irresistible charm, I'm here to melt your heart. Whether it's cuddles on the couch or zoomies in the backyard, I'm ready for it all. If you're searching for a charming, lovable, and utterly adorable companion to brighten your days, then look no further. I'm here, wagging my tail and waiting for the chance to become your loyal sidekick. Ready to make me a part of your family? Let the adventures begin! * Thank you for your interest in adopting a dog from Little Dog Rescue. Our dogs come from a variety of sources and backgrounds. They are all in need of adopters that have patience, an understanding of where these dogs have come from, and that there will be an adjustment time when they transition into their forever home. This can include learning basic commands, walking on leash and potty training. Some dogs will pick up on your routine and expectations faster than others. Potty accidents will happen. We find that positive reinforcement, consistency, and routine from the adopter achieves the best results. We are a small, all volunteers team and give 100% of our efforts towards doing right by these pups. We are often juggling many responsibilities at the same time and do our very best to process inquiries and applications in a timely manner. We do prioritize inquiries that have a submitted application on file through the Little Dog Rescue website. We do our best to accurately assign breed designations, however we are unable to guarantee 100% accuracy. Sometimes we only have the dogs appearance to go on. Our adoption fees are thoughtfully considered. The adoption fee is not a purchase price for the dog. It is a fee that is designed to support the overall work of our rescue. Highly desirable dogs and puppies are intentionally listed with a higher adoption fee. This is done to help offset the enormous medical expenses we incur when taking in older pups and special needs medical dogs whose adoption fees do not come close to covering their expenses. In addition, the vast majority of our dogs are brought in from out of state and incur transport fees along with their medical and acquisition costs. We ask that you take all of these things into consideration, and we look forward to finding a great match for your family.

Story
Meet Kristoff, a pint-sized Shih Tzu with a supersized personality! At just a few months old, this fearless fluffball is all about making big leaps-whether it's bounding up the stairs, hopping onto your couch, or leaping into your heart. Don't let his small stature fool you; Kristoff is a tiny tornado of joy, especially around his fellow four-legged pals. He's already made a 'paw'some pal with a big labradoodle, proving size is just a number when it comes to friendship. As to cats-he'd do best with a playful kitty sidekick, one who won't mind a bit of friendly chase-because for Kristoff, it's all in good fun! When it comes to humans, Kristoff is a total people-pup. He's yet to meet a lap he doesn't like or a pair of hands he won't nudge for pets. While he hasn't hung out with kids just yet, his gentle nature and love of fun make him a promising family friend. So, if you're ready for a little dog with big adventures on his mind, let Kristoff 'bark' his way into your life and show you how grand small can be! Get ready to unleash the fun with this adorable bundle of bravery and love. Are you up for it? Because Kristoff certainly is! * Thank you for your interest in adopting a dog from Little Dog Rescue. Story
Meet our Toto! Not the Wizard of Oz Toto, but even more adorable and smart! This Toto is a 7 lb, 1 year old Shih Tzu x Chihuahua mix who came to us as a owner surrender, and he deserves that forever family who will stand by him and appreciate all he has to offer! Toto already has his house manners down pat, is great on a leash - and loves his cuddle times too! He is so ready to move into your home and your heart. Toto loves his toys and walkies, but also appreciates having a quiet place to refresh himself between play sessions. Before transport, Toto received a full health exam, vaccinations and a health certificate for interstate travel. He is scheduled for his neuter already and is set and ready for his new life with a clean bill of health! This little man is good to go down the Yellow Brick Road with you to find your own version of Oz and a wonderful FUREVER FAMILY to call his own!! There's no place like HOME!!
