Meet Zeppelin! This handsome butterscotch buddy is about 2.5 years old as of 12/25. He was originally purchased for a specific type of training, but as he matured, it was evident that he didn't have the confidence required for such a job. He is better suited as a house dog and companion. His best friend is our cattle dog mix, Toast, and we would love for them to go to a home together. Odin is a loving, loyal companion who will be your devoted shadow. He's a true velcro dog who loves very hard. Odin is a large poodle Rottie X that came out this way from California years ago. His owner was not able to give him the proper care and enrichment he needed because of her work schedule and so she left him in our care. We came to know him as a bouncy, sweet, at times protective and even complex boy. He cherishes outdoor adventures, going on long walks, and he's well-trained with great leash manners. We have him crate-trained, potty-trained, good in the car, enjoys playing with his dog pals, and does well in boarding. Odin is a pretty neat and easy dog in the home aside from his tendency to resource guard some things such as couches/beds and high value items. We have spent many hours working with him and believe he is in a great behavioral place to find a home. Odin is very selective with strangers and is a bite risk towards unsuspecting people that push him past his comfort zone. He has undergone training to make him safer around others and has no problem wearing a basket muzzle when socializing or out in public. He has very good leash manners and won't go out of his way to bother any passersby. Odin will be an amazing best friend for a single man or woman, even a couple that can keep up with his rules and boundaries. He CANNOT live with little children and CANNOT live with cats. Odin would do fine with a playful female dog and can have one as a housemate. He may even enjoy a passive playful male. Odin will be protective of his territory and his people. Due to that drive in his nature he is part of our behavioral dog post adoption support program. We will always be available to support the owner that takes this special dog home. Meet Spice.Spice came to us with her sibling Cinnamon. We think their names should be Sugar and Cinnabon because these two could NOT get sweeter. Guessed to be 8-10 years old these sweet older ladies have are easy as can be! A package deal that will fill your heart and home with so much snuggles and love you will so FULL! Both are potty trained. Friendly with all dogs and all people. Favorite pastimes are laying on Their person ( so lap available is a bonus) and when a lap is not free the find each other and keep each other warm But if you are up and doing chores they are happy to follow you around keeping you company, waiting for a little bit of pets or a potty break in the fresh air. Both girls are spayed and just had their teeth cleaned. Both weigh exactly 10 pounds. They have a clean bill of health and a safe foster to hang with until their forever family shows up. Moose This boy has a big name, but he will likely never grow over 20 pounds!! Hes got lots of personality though and is an absolute love bug!! Mooses mom is a mixed breed (best guess )dog with short shedding coat. Based on him and his siblings all coming out with curly black coats we think Dad was a black poodle.!! but of course in Rescue its a best guess! He was born end of January. This sweet boy puppy is playful, lovable, and full of energy. He loves running in the grass, sleeps through the night, and gets along great with other dogs. Meet little Remi: a 10-week-old black female mix puppy. You can meet Mama on our page she is named Chrissy - we suspect dad was a black poodle based on all siblings coat and color. But we do not know. What we do know is she was born end of January. She's small in size, but big in personality with equal parts cuddle bug and tiny explorer. When shes not investigating the world, shes busy melting hearts with her soft fur and curling up for a cozy nap or tumbling over her own paws as she joyfully plays. Remi loves all humans, especially kids and dogs of all sizes. She hasn't met any cats yet but willing to bet she would love them too. We think she will be under 20 pounds full grown. Meet Orzo, a 3-year-old miniature poodle with a gentle soul and so much potential just waiting to shine. This sweet boy is crate trained and currently working on his potty training like a champ. Orzo gets along well with other dogs and would truly benefit from having a confident small canine companion in his forever home to help show him the ropes. Orzo came to us after being surrendered by his previous family for unknown reasons, and he’s still learning that the world—and people—can be safe. Right now, he can be timid when approached, often dropping low or running away, but with time, patience, and love, he is slowly beginning to trust his foster mom and show his true personality. One thing we already know? He absolutely loves to run and play outside, especially in a secure fenced yard where he feels free and happy. Orzo is looking for a calm, patient, and understanding home that will give him the time and space he needs to build confidence at his own pace. A securely fenced yard is a must for this little guy, as it’s where he feels most comfortable and joyful.
