Augie is a loving and LOYAL companion. He is always looking for cuddles and kisses. He is a 2 1/2 year old doodle who still has LOTS of energy. Currently he lives with two other dogs, who is loves but I'm not sure if he would be good with other dogs he does not know. This rehoming is not by choice. Augie got into an altercation with another dog in my townhouse complex and the association has demanded he be removed. He is very obedient and loves to go for walks and is very treat motivated. When it is cold outside, he will also poop on command.

We pulled Colby along with his brother and sister from a high kill shelter in GA when they were 10 weeks old. Their mom is a pure bred Black standard Poodle that was allowed to run and she came home pregnant. All three pup look a bit different, so we are sure there were different dads. Colby looks like he has Brittany spaniel in him but that is only a guess He has long wavy hair a scruffy face and seems to be very low shedding. Colby's brother and sister have now gone to their new homes, and he is anxiously waiting for his family! We think that Colby will be close to 60 lbs when grown. He loves people although a bit shy at first and he loves other dogs. He is one happy boy all the time. We're all just crazy about his cuteness! He is now 8 months old and UTD on shots and has been neutered and microchipped Colby is happy, playful and affectionate. He would be a great addition to any family. If you see a pet here, they are still available for adoption and you should apply through our adoption application on our website at  https://www.arf-il.org/adopt/application/   This dog is a 4-5 year old female Standard Poodle who weighs in at 48.8 pounds.  This dog's adoption fee is $600.  If you are still interested, please read more below. This girl’s name is actually Nella. She came to us as a male, 1 year old, golden doodle named Lenny, but surprise she is a girl! The vet also believes she is actually a standard poodle and about 4-5 years old. She is a very gentle, sweet girl, but still very scared of life. She likes to stay in her spot all day unless she goes for a walk. She does great walking on leash, and she loves to walk her same path everyday, multiple times a day! She also loves any sort of edible chew toy that you give her. Nella girl loves to be brushed; it puts her right to sleep!! Because we don’t know her exact story, we have been learning some of her triggers as we go. She is still very nervous with just about everything! It will take her time to settle in. We think there must have been some trauma for her with cars, because she is still nervous around them. She prefers women and has adjusted better to women in the house versus men. Nella has very specific routines that she likes to follow, but she is a very sweet girl!! She would do best in a home without kids, because she likes to be in a quiet, peaceful environment. She doesn’t mind other dogs as long as they happily ignore her, but she isn’t one for really engaging with them. If you have the time, patience, and love to let her settle in on her own time, she would be a great dog for you! She is fully crate-trained, house-trained, and leash-trained! Ray is a sweet senior boy who came to us after being picked up as a stray by local animal control. Sadly, no one ever came forward to claim him, so he’s now under our care and searching for the loving forever home he so deeply deserves. Ray is a laid-back couch potato who’s slowly showing more of his personality as he settles in. He’s generally quiet but will let you know when dinner is late 😄. He loves being cozy—napping by the fireplace, on a heated dog bed, or curled up nearby while you work. Ray may be blind and partially deaf, and due to his age we suspect he has some arthritis. Despite this, he’s a gentle, kind soul who does well with the people and dogs he’s met. He can be a little nervous in new places at first but settles in quickly and happily accepts snuggles. He does best with a consistent potty schedule and is comfortable resting in a pen overnight or while you’re away. Ray is currently thriving in a foster home where he can enjoy a calm, home-like environment as he waits for his next chapter—a quiet, loving home full of patience, comfort, and love. 💙 Note: We cannot guarantee that any dog is "hypoallergenic"
