This girl’s name is actually Nella. She came to us as a male, 1 year old, golden doodle named Lenny, but surprise she is a girl! The vet also believes she is actually a standard poodle and about 4-5 years old. She is a very gentle, sweet girl, but still very scared of life. She likes to stay in her spot all day unless she goes for a walk. She does great walking on leash, and she loves to walk her same path everyday, multiple times a day! She also loves any sort of edible chew toy that you give her. Nella girl loves to be brushed; it puts her right to sleep!! Because we don’t know her exact story, we have been learning some of her triggers as we go. She is still very nervous with just about everything! It will take her time to settle in. We think there must have been some trauma for her with cars, because she is still nervous around them. She prefers women and has adjusted better to women in the house versus men. Nella has very specific routines that she likes to follow, but she is a very sweet girl!! She would do best in a home without kids, because she likes to be in a quiet, peaceful environment. She doesn’t mind other dogs as long as they happily ignore her, but she isn’t one for really engaging with them. If you have the time, patience, and love to let her settle in on her own time, she would be a great dog for you! She is fully crate-trained, house-trained, and leash-trained! Lollipop is a little sweetheart and she has tons of personality! Her mom is a small B&W rat terrier mix and dad is a doodle. Mom was taken in as a stray by a lady with an unaltered doodle. Before she could find a rescue to help with mom, she became pregnant. Lollipop was the runt in the litter. She is friendly, loving and smart! She is also a major snuggler! She likes to wrap her head around your neck and nestle in! Lolli is great with other dogs and people of all ages. She has not been around a cat yet but we are confident she will be fine with proper intro. Being the runt, she always seems to end up on the bottom and she still plays hard and never gets mad! Lolli is healthy, UTD on puppy shots and worming. She will be spayed and microchipped before going to her forever home. Based on puppy weight calculators we think she will be between 25 and 35 lbs. Both dogs came from the same place. The dogs never took walks or went outside before they came to us. Now they both enjoy a walk outside. A stroll in the stroller. Watching TV on the couch with their foster mom! Jersey Mike wears a belly band inside. He is still new at house training.  Jersey Mike is a super cuddler. Surprises happen in rescue. 8 year old Jimmy has been neutered and received a dental on his 6 teeth. Jimmy John would love to find a human that will carry him around and hold him on their lap. Given his tiny size, ARF requests only older children. No training has ever been done with Jimmy. He needs some kind guidance from a patient, loving human. Chewbacca is a very happy friendly boy.  He hops like a bunny, so happy! He does well with small dogs like him but he is not happy with dogs bigger than him.  He is working on house training and walking on a leash. He is getting better and better every day.  He loves to run, and his foster thinks he’d be a good brother to another small dog.  Maybe he would warm up to a bigger one?  There are not children in his foster home, Not sure about kids, but when we come up to kids in the park he’s fine.  He will follow you around and will either sit next to you or at your feet, being close.
