Story
Hi hi! This is Six, he is a little over 1 year old and we are trying to find him a new home. I got him when he was just 4 weeks old and have been raising him alone ever since. Because I am moving to be closer to family, as much as I would love to, I unfortunately will not be able to keep him in my care any longer. Which is why we are looking for a new family for him. Six is a very lively cat, he’s very communicative, friendly, and absolutely loves cuddles. He also is a very social cat and enjoys the company of other animals. He is a little shy and it takes him a while to warm up to people, but he is such a sweetheart once you get through to him.

Story
We have had Sunny since he was 3 months old, and he is now 11. He is a big cuddly cat with many vocalizations. He enjoys being outdoors part of the time even in cold weather, and is a great hunter, jumper and climber. Great bed snuggler. He is very good about using the litter box. For about the past two years, he has had occasional cysts on his face and around his eyes, which the vet says are not cancerous. No special diet, although he enjoys treats and table scraps. He has anxiety about going in the cat carrier to the vet, and would benefit from mild sedation for those trips. He is initially wary of strangers but warms up quickly. Afraid of dogs. Unknown how he would interact with young children.

Story
Mett Flory! Flory was born to an abandoned mom cat in August 2024. This quiet, brown tabby female is friendly with trusted folks, avoidant of strangers, and is affectionate on her terms. She watches for you at the window, greets you at the door, ankle rubs, and follows you. At this stage she doesn’t want to be held or stay in your lap. She enjoys brushing and likes to sit in front of you, watching you. She is treat motivated, Flory plays with cat toys by herself and interactive ones with you. She enjoys watching wildlife out the window. She has met kids and finds them too busy and active, so she hides. Flory would enjoy another cat for a companion after proper introductions. She needs a patient adopter willing to build her trust. She has fine litterbox habits and uses a scratching post. Siblings are available. This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Cats have been vet checked, spayed/ If you are gone 7 or more hours a day, please consider adopting two cats, neutered, wormed, tested for FIV/FeLV, have distemper and rabies shots. Adoption fees are $200+tax, and for cats age 6+ the fee is $175+tax. Calicos and Siamese are $250+tx. For further information or to start the adoption process, leave a message at 612 202-9492 or email cattalesmn@outlook.com as one cat usually gets bored. Two cats are easier to care for than one (they self-entertain while you are at work), and they are emotionally healthier (don’t get lonely and bored). ~*~*~* Follow us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/cattalesmn *~*~*~*~*

Story
Meet Faith! This mellow, gray tabby female older kitten tolerates being held upright for a short while. Faith is friendly with trusted folks, shy of strangers and is affectionate on her terms. Faith was born to a stray mom cat in August 2024 and she received no medical care for an eye infection, which claimed one eye. She watches for you at the window, and purrs on contact. At this stage she prefers to sit next to you. Faith plays with cat toys by herself and interactive ones with you. She enjoys watching wildlife out the window. She hasn’t met kids, but if they are patient, calm and kind, she should be fine. She would enjoy another cat for a companion after proper introductions. Faith needs a patient adopter willing to build her trust. She has fine litterbox habits and uses a scratching post. Siblings are available. This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Story
Gary is a 12 year old orange tabby cat. We have had him since he was a kitten. Gary is a very very very affectionate cat. He prefers to be with humans 24/7. He is happiest when someone is petting him. As Gary's parents, we love him, but our living situation is changing and won't be able to take him with us. Gary mostly uses the litter box, but sometimes, when we leave him alone at home for a couple days, he scolds us by urinating on a pee pad we leave by the door, no where else, and only when we leave him at home alone. Gary has no special needs, just love, love and more love.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   Pebble is a beautiful 1-year-old dilute calico with a  quiet, thoughtful spirit. When she first arrived into rescue from a TNR colony, the world felt like a big, scary place. She spent much of her time tucked safely under her little tent in her foster home, watching from a distance and learning to trust. While she’s still a bit skittish around new people and unfamiliar noises, Pebble has made incredible progress in a short time and continues to grow braver every day. Once she feels safe, her playful side truly shines! Pebble loves wand toys, batting around balls, and playing the cutest games of peek-a-boo with her catnip mice — especially when she’s allowed to “catch” her prize. Her absolute favorite toy is the Cat Dancer (those irresistible little pieces of cardboard on a wire), and she has become a total pro with the wobble treat ball. She also enjoys relaxing with some “cat TV,” happily watching the action on screen. When it comes to affection Pebble is a total sweetheart. She loves being petted and will roll around adorably, begging for more attention once she trusts you. It’s incredibly rewarding to earn her love — she bonds deeply and shows it with soft eyes and happy wiggles. Because of her cautious nature, Pebble would do best in a quieter home without small children or dogs. A patient adopter who understands that confidence takes time will be rewarded with a devoted and playful companion. We believe a friendly, outgoing kitty companion could also help her continue to blossom and feel even more secure. Pebble may start out as a shy little stone, but with love and patience, she’ll become the brightest gem in your home. Pebble is currently fostered in St Paul. Interested in adopting? Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   Meet Stew, your new low-maintenance best friend This big, chubby-cheeked black and white gentleman was originally slated for TNR, but he had other plans—turns out, he’s an absolute sweetheart who just needed someone to notice. With his medium-length coat and permanently grumpy little face, he might look like he’s judging your life choices… but don’t be fooled. Stewart is actually a mellow, affectionate companion who just wants to quietly be near his person. He’s the definition of an easy roommate—independent, undemanding, and perfectly content doing his own thing while still keeping you company. Stew will follow you from room to room like a soft, silent shadow, happy just to exist in the same space. When he’s in the mood, he enjoys pets and chin scratches, but he’s polite about it—when he’s done, he simply gets up and walks away. No drama, no fuss. One of his favorite pastimes? Window watching. Give him a cozy spot to observe the outside world, and he’s set. If you’re looking for a calm, low-key companion with a secretly soft heart (and very squishable cheeks), Stew might just be your perfect match. We're not sure how Stewart is with dogs, and given his outdoor past he's likely fine with other cats. He'd also be just fine as an only cat.  Interested in adopting?
