Story
Nutmeg is a good cat, we are looking to re-home her as we just inherited a dog that requires a lot of training and attention. She is very sweet and a little sassy. Good with other cats and dogs. She took a very keen liking to my German shorthaired pointer, who she would follow around the house a nuzzle him and make biscuits on him when he would be laying down. She is very affectionate and loves to be petted and sit on your lap. Not a huge fan of being picked up and she loves to vocalize her opinion. She tends to be a little shy when guests are over, but always excited and happy to see me or my wife when we get home. When she’s not playing or birdwatching out the window, she likes to curl up in a ball on the couch or ideally someone’s lap. Nutmeg (We call her Meg for short) deserves a loving home where she gets the attention she deserves

Story
We have had Sunny since he was 3 months old, and he is now 11. He is a big cuddly cat with many vocalizations. He enjoys being outdoors part of the time even in cold weather, and is a great hunter, jumper and climber. Great bed snuggler. He is very good about using the litter box. For about the past two years, he has had occasional cysts on his face and around his eyes, which the vet says are not cancerous. No special diet, although he enjoys treats and table scraps. He has anxiety about going in the cat carrier to the vet, and would benefit from mild sedation for those trips. He is initially wary of strangers but warms up quickly. Afraid of dogs. Unknown how he would interact with young children.

Story
Charlotte! 8 years old. A sweet lady who purrs like a lawnmower and loves a cuddle. She loves to sleep in bed, sometimes by your feet or she’ll cozy up right by your head. She loves to lay on her back and show you her tummy. She always greets everyone at the door and says hello (hoping for some head scratches upon arrival). Charlotte is on the hunt for a family after a house fire destroyed her old home. They moved to an apartment but she was stressed living in such close quarters with other dogs and cats. Charlotte does very well as an only pet and would prefer to stay that way. She has declawed front paws. Charlotte used to free feed but has switched to an automatic feeder and is working on losing a little weight so she stays happy and healthy. (Currently in a foster home).

Story
Sweet September is a 13 year old cat with a perfect senior blood panel (done June 2025) and a love for cuddles. He came to us in 2014 from the Humane Society and was living his best life in a one cat home. He tolerated adding an additional cat (who recently passed in 2025), but his stress has gone through the roof since adding two dogs and a toddler. I would say he would do best in a home where he’s the only fur baby. We love September, and that‘s what prompted us to find him a home where he can retire and live stress free.

Elios was a stray when I took him in. He’s under a year old, likely born in June. Looking for someone who has a lot of space and minimal boundaries for this energetic, curious little guy. He is a big ball of energy and would do great with kids. He’s very affectionate and loves attention.

Story
If you’ve ever believed that chocolate makes everything better, just wait until you meet me. My name is Chocolate, and I’m every bit as sweet, comforting, and irresistible as the treat I’m named after. I’m a handsome, “big-boned” gentleman—about four years old and weighing in at a cozy 11.5 pounds of pure love. I was found late this summer on the reservation when I wandered up to someone’s home and decided it looked like a pretty good place to stay. Turns out, I was right—I adore people, and I’m happiest when I have someone to love. My personality? Think gentle, mellow, and affectionate. I’m the kind of cat who doesn’t let much bother him. Loud noise? New people? A busy day? I’ll just stretch out, blink those soft eyes, and carry on being my sweet, easygoing self. Give me a warm bed, a sunny window, and a lap to curl up in, and I’ll repay you with endless purrs and quiet companionship. I’m a true cuddler at heart, and I believe every good day should include a nap, some sunshine, and, of course… breakfast, lunch, and dinner. (A growing boy has to keep up his strength, you know.) If you’re looking for a calm, loving companion who will bring warmth and sweetness into your home every single day, I think we might be the perfect match. Come meet me—I promise I’m even sweeter in person. You can meet this furry feline friend at The PURRfect Match Adoption Center in Andover, MN. We typically have around 20 adoptable cats on site—each one eager to meet their new family. Our visiting hours are Tuesdays & Thursdays from 3–7 PM and Saturdays from 10 AM–2 PM. 14033 Round Lake Blvd NW, Andover, MN Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.  The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. He’s got those big, puppy-dog eyes that make you melt instantly and he absolutely knows how to use them. He’s a playful guy who loves chasing toys, pouncing around, and occasionally deciding that wiggly toes are the most fascinating thing in the world. He’s curious, silly, and full of that fun kitten energy that keeps life interesting. But what really makes him special? He’s such a sweetheart. He loves pets and attention and will happily soak up all the affection you’re willing to give. After he’s gotten his zoomies out, he’s more than ready to settle in and just be your little companion. He’s the kind of kitten who will follow you around, make you laugh, and then curl up nearby like he’s always belonged there. If you’re looking for a playful, loving little dude to grow up with, he might just be your guy. Sock is a brave little guy who has absolutely no fear. He probably believes he could square up with a bull and still walk away purring. Most days you’ll find him perched somewhere high, observing everyone from a distance. But when the zoomies hit? It’s game on. Sock will be down there playing his heart out like he’s training for the Kitty Olympics. He loves pets and occasionally blesses you with cuddles. If you want a kitten that keeps you laughing and smiling Sock is your dude!
