Tabby kittens & cats in Andover, Minnesota

Chubby tabby, his owner went to a nursing home and cannot care for him. We expected the owner to return to his home and his cat, but, he will not be able to do that.Nemo had never scratched or bitten anybody, he enjoys a little bit of cuddling, but, is very independent. He does not get along with our elderly cat, but, she has never gotten along with any other cats, this may be her fault. He enjoys the company of our elderly hunting dog, they actually get along well. He also got along with a different dog that he used to live with. Nemo loves to have a couple cat treats several times a day, and is very insistent on being fed every morning. He could use being put on a diet, but, he has always been chubby. 30 pounds. He likes being combed, and is terrified to be outside, totally an indoor kitty.He comes with a large litter box, and a carrier that is big enough for him.

Charlie needs a ton of attention. He loves to be petted constantly. I think he's gotten very clingy after a renter moved out and took their cat with them, so he has no companionship.How I acquired him was his owner moved and didn't take him and my son found him and took him in and then left him with me when he moved out.

We adopted Kitty from Facebook marketplace around six years ago. She came from a family that had lots of dogs. When we adopted her, she was sick and had stones so we had surgery done to remove them. Because of that issue, Kitty is on a special prescription food. It just helps her to prevent getting stones again. Kitty is very loyal to her family and loves to be in the same room as you at all times. She is very good with kids however she is not the cuddly type. She loves to play with all of her toys, her light laser and chase things around the house. She doesn’t however, like to sit on your lap she’s a private territorial is her personality so she would be best in a home without other animals. The ideal adopter for Kitty would be an older adult or perhaps a child that has patience and would not demand too much attention. She is litter box trained, however, needs a higher sided box. Kitty is very healthy and is approximately eight years old. My daughter moved so need to rehome her.

Meet Sam. He’s about 15 years old and has had quite a journey, from a stray on the streets of St. Paul to being a beloved family cat for many years.Sam has lived happily with dogs (but has lived 4 years without dogs, and would be happier to continue that way) and other cats, but with a growing family and a very energetic young child, he’s ready for something different.He would LOVE a quiet, mature home, lots of love, and plenty of lap time. He deserves to spend his senior years feeling safe, relaxed, and cherished.

Angela is a cute gray tabby. She’s about 3-4 months old and energetic. She’s pretty clingy and likes to sleep on you, does bite a little bit. Doesn’t like to be held too long but when she’s sleepy she doesn't mind as much. Likes pets/being touched and wants them usually in the morning. Loves to eat and won’t mind wet food, treats, kibble. She likes to explore and go under things. I’m hoping she can go to a nice home who will treat her like a princess.

Our senior cat loves to cuddle, play and sleep. He's getting more affectionate and attached as he ages. The problem is we are travelling more and he urinates outside his box when we leave him.

I am an eight-year-old torbie, a lady of distinct taste, and until recently, as dramatic as a Bravo TV housewife. Here are the facts: I was surrendered to a shelter because I despised other cats. I'm not hiding it — it was a known fact about me. I sat in the shelter, miserable; my time was running out. I was exactly twenty-four hours from meeting my maker when (cue music) The Rescue Crew sprang me from the clutches of Hades. You might call it good timing. I call it my second act. Turns out, my legendary attitude had a perfectly good explanation. I was carrying some luxury weight, which put a strain on my bad knees and sore back. When every step hurts, you don't purr. You swat. I'm not making excuses. I'm providing context. There's a difference. Two months ago, I landed with a foster lady, and somewhere between the vet visit and the new food, I am getting back on track. I'm on a prescription diet that's actually working — I haven't been on the scale lately (a lady doesn't discuss numbers), but I feel lighter - and happier. I take a medication called Gabapentin to manage my knee pain until I drop 3–4 lbs. And I exercise — feather cardio (I swat a feather at the end of a plastic stick) and slow, deliberate laps from room to room. Yes, it counts. Do not minimize my effort. I feel better than I have in years. I'm still opinionated, mind you. But I'm a gentler kind of opinionated — a work in progress, if you will. My days now look like this: I have a safe room all to myself, I get to roam the house when my foster mom's cats are "spending the day" in the basement, I do my cardio, I nap, and I accept affection entirely on my own terms. I have actually tolerated encounters with one of the resident cats. It's a good life. I've earned it. I'm looking for a forever home who understands I’m getting better with age. I don't need other cats. I don't need chaos. I need consistency, a good food bowl, and someone who won't take it personally when I just need a minute. In return, I will be somewhat snuggly, quite talkative, and 100% hilarious. I was almost a cautionary tale — now I'm ready to be your most endearing, sometimes dramatic, companion. That's the deal. I promise I'm worth it. I have limited sight, so I prefer calm environments and slow introductions to new people. I love humans, even though I hide from new ones. I wouldn't say I need to be an only pet... I just like to have a place to retreat. I've never been around dogs, though. Those are foreign to me. I'm also not a huge fan of young kids... too energetic for me. I am not litter box-trained: I don't remember to cover up after myself, so my litter box needs daily cleaning. I do use my scratching post, though. Also note that I'm managing kidney disease and arthritis, so I’ll need a little extra care and attention to keep comfortable.
