We adopted Kitty from Facebook marketplace around six years ago. She came from a family that had lots of dogs. When we adopted her, she was sick and had stones so we had surgery done to remove them. Because of that issue, Kitty is on a special prescription food. It just helps her to prevent getting stones again. Kitty is very loyal to her family and loves to be in the same room as you at all times. She is very good with kids however she is not the cuddly type. She loves to play with all of her toys, her light laser and chase things around the house. She doesn’t however, like to sit on your lap she’s a private territorial is her personality so she would be best in a home without other animals. The ideal adopter for Kitty would be an older adult or perhaps a child that has patience and would not demand too much attention. She is litter box trained, however, needs a higher sided box. Kitty is very healthy and is approximately eight years old. My daughter moved so need to rehome her.

Founf under a shed, she came to our home as a tiny kitty. Now 12 yrs old. She is a definate indoor cat. No claws, and fixed. She hides from strangers and avoids other pets but is fine with them. That's our problem.. we have too many. My whole family moved back and brought all of their pets. She's stressed and showing bad behavior. No one needs to live under stress. She needs to be rehomed where she can be happy again.

Chubby tabby, his owner went to a nursing home and cannot care for him. We expected the owner to return to his home and his cat, but, he will not be able to do that.Nemo had never scratched or bitten anybody, he enjoys a little bit of cuddling, but, is very independent. He does not get along with our elderly cat, but, she has never gotten along with any other cats, this may be her fault. He enjoys the company of our elderly hunting dog, they actually get along well. He also got along with a different dog that he used to live with. Nemo loves to have a couple cat treats several times a day, and is very insistent on being fed every morning. He could use being put on a diet, but, he has always been chubby. 30 pounds. He likes being combed, and is terrified to be outside, totally an indoor kitty.He comes with a large litter box, and a carrier that is big enough for him.

Sunshine, a male orange tabby was born around April 2020. He was found by a resident and turned into the Rescue. He occasionally talks at meal times. Sunny hasn’t met dogs or kids under age eight. With proper introductions he gets along with most cats and he’d enjoy another cat for a pal. The foster mom says he is sweet, smart, friendly with known people, and affectionate on his terms. Sunny is shy/avoidant of strangers. At this stage, he is uncomfortable being picked up. Sunny likes playing with interactive wand toys and watching birds at the window. He has fine litterbox habits and uses a scratching post. Are you the patient person willing to give him time to trust and blossom in a new setting and you be rewarded with a special relationship with him? This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Cats have been vet checked, spayed/neutered, wormed, tested for FIV/FeLV, have distemper and rabies shots. Adoption fees are $200+tax, and for cats age 6+ the fee is $175+tax. Calicos and Siamese are $250+tx. Meet Trent! Trent is a mellow, brown tabby kitten born in March of 2026. He tolerates the foster’s active dog and gets along with the adult male cats. He hasn’t met children, but if they are gentle he should do well. Trent is very friendly with trusted folks and cautiously friendly with strangers after about 45 minutes. Trent will sleep with you for a couple hours at night and then leaves. When he hears you coming, Trent is at the door waiting. He is okay being picked up and held for a short time and then he wants down to scamper about playing. Trent enjoys interactive toys and playing by himself. He is quiet until meal time. He will let you place him in your lap and stays for a time of petting and brushing. Trent and his 2 four-week-old siblings were found on a highway. Trent uses a scratching post and has fine litterbox habits. Siblings are available. This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue.
