Story
We adopted Sadie from the Humane Society in 2013 as a kitten. She spent most of her life as an indoor/outdoor cat at our previous home where she would play in the woods and socialize with the neighborhood kids while making her rounds. We sold our house and she has been an indoor cat the last three years. She is a major snuggler and will be on your lap as soon as you sit down. She loves to chase her toy mouse on a string and jump in the air after it. She spent ten years living with her Goldendoodle brother so we know she is good with large dogs. She has never lived with other cats so we don’t know how that would go. She enjoys conversation and will be as conversational as you are. Our adult children and their spouses-to-be have developed allergies to cat dander and cannot be in our current home for more than a very short time. We are moving to a new home and due to those allergies, we find ourselves in this situation where we need to make this difficult decision. We love her dearly❤️

Story
I adopted my cat from a cat café, but his journey started all the way in South Dakota on a Native American reservation. He’s a super chill cat with a calm, loving personality. He absolutely loves to cuddle and is incredibly friendly—not just with people, but also with kids and other animals. He settled into our home so easily, and it feels like he’s always been part of the family.

Laney is the sweetest kitty. She currently lives with a dog and another cat. I am moving and cannot take her and the other cat to our new home. We are sad to put her up for adoption but want her to be in a home where she can get all the attention she deserves.

Story
Sunshine, a male orange tabby was born around April 2020. He was found by a resident and turned into the Rescue. He occasionally talks at meal times. Sunny hasn’t met dogs or kids under age eight. With proper introductions he gets along with most cats and he’d enjoy another cat for a pal. The foster mom says he is sweet, smart, friendly with known people, and affectionate on his terms. Sunny is shy/avoidant of strangers. At this stage, he is uncomfortable being picked up. Sunny likes playing with interactive wand toys and watching birds at the window. He has fine litterbox habits and uses a scratching post. Are you the patient person willing to give him time to trust and blossom in a new setting and you be rewarded with a special relationship with him? This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Cats have been vet checked, spayed/neutered, wormed, tested for FIV/FeLV, have distemper and rabies shots. Adoption fees are $200+tax, and for cats age 6+ the fee is $175+tax. Calicos and Siamese are $250+tx. For further information or to start the adoption process, leave a message at 612 202-9492 or email cattalesmn@outlook.com . If you are gone 7 or more hours a day, please consider adopting two cats, as one cat usually gets bored. Two cats are easier to care for than one (they self-entertain while you are at work), and they are emotionally healthier (don’t get lonely and bored). ~*~*~* Follow us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/cattalesmn *~*~*~*~* *

Story
Meet Fritz! Fritz is an out-going affectionate older brown tabby kitten. He was born in August 2024 to a mom cat that had been abandoned by a farm. He watches for you at the window, greets you at the door and follows you around. Fritz gives kitty kisses, face rubs, ankle rubs, and purrs on contact with a trusted person. He is okay being picked up and held for a short time. He will jump into your lap when you sit and stays for short sessions of petting and brushing. Fritz is very friendly with known folks and cautiously friendly with strangers. He hasn’t met children under the age of 9, but if they are respectful and gentle he should do well. He is a bit on the dominate side when interacting with other cats. Fritz enjoys interacting with the foster home’s dog. He likes sitting on top of the cat furniture and watch the wildlife out the window. He plays by himself with toys and interactively with you. With proper introductions Fritz enjoys other pets. Fritz uses a scratching post and has fine litterbox habits. Siblings are available. This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Story
Mett Flory! Flory was born to an abandoned mom cat in August 2024. This quiet, brown tabby female is friendly with trusted folks, avoidant of strangers, and is affectionate on her terms. She watches for you at the window, greets you at the door, ankle rubs, and follows you. At this stage she doesn’t want to be held or stay in your lap. She enjoys brushing and likes to sit in front of you, watching you. She is treat motivated, Flory plays with cat toys by herself and interactive ones with you. She enjoys watching wildlife out the window. She has met kids and finds them too busy and active, so she hides. Flory would enjoy another cat for a companion after proper introductions. She needs a patient adopter willing to build her trust. She has fine litterbox habits and uses a scratching post. Siblings are available. This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Cats have been vet checked, spayed/ If you are gone 7 or more hours a day, please consider adopting two cats, neutered, wormed, tested for FIV/FeLV, have distemper and rabies shots.
