Story
HI - I'M BENJI! I'm a handsome 3-year-old Pit-Boxer mix in need of a foster or forever home! I was rescued from a California shelter awhile back, where I was impounded as a stray, and now am waiting for someone to choose me! I'm a sweetheart and oh-so-gentle. I'm the kind of dogs who loves a good snuggle on a cozy couch. My mellow nature makes me a perfect companion for those quiet moments. I'm loyal too, always sticking by my friends. Speaking of friends, I get along well with my canine neighbors at my current location. I'm also quite the poser for pictures, and am quite handsome and attentive. I walk well on a leash and am an easy pal to have around. But what I'd love more than anything is a family to call my own. I promise to be the best friend you've ever had. I weigh 57 lbs. Please email for an application.

Story
MEET BRUCE, a 5-year-old dog with a heart full of love and loyalty. He's a sweet soul, always eager to share a friendly wag or a gentle nuzzle. He's brave, unafraid to explore new environments, and is a cuddle expert, making him the perfect companion for cozy evenings. He's been good with kids and non-destructive, making him a wonderful addition to families with older children (due to his size). He gets along well with some dogs, but is a big boy so needs a strong and experienced owner. Born in a shelter and later dumped by his people, Bruce knows the value of a loving home. His sweet nature and gentle disposition make him a perfect companion. He weighs about 80 lbs.

Story
BLUE, a 2-year-old blue brindle and white Pit Bull Terrier, came to our rescue in an unusual way. The co-founder of our rescue had a random dream about Blue, an unknown dog at the time. The next day, the co-founder stumbled upon Blue, one of many urgent dogs at an over-crowded shelter, when searching for the dog in her dream. There Blue was, his sweet face begging for someone to help him. So now, Blue is safe! He is a sweet 60-pound boy who was kenneled with another dog at the shelter. He loves other dogs, and is loyal, smart, curious and loving. Need a hug? Ask Blue! He loves to give and receive hugs and get lots of human attention and affection. He is still a young boy so will need plenty of exercise and stimulation but overall, he's a couch potato in disguise and a dog to share your hopes and dreams. He's ready to fill your home with love, laughter, and lots of cuddles. He's currently looking for a foster or forever home. Please email for an application.

Story
Introducing Jackson, or as we like to call him, Jack Teller - a true survivor who has overcome countless obstacles in his journey. Imagine finding him at an intersection, abandoned and scared, anxiously waiting for his owners to return. It breaks your heart, doesn't it? But don't worry, this story has a happy ending. Despite his rough start, Jack Teller has blossomed into a remarkable companion. Like any dog, he was initially wary of new faces, but it didn't take long for him to realize that there are kind-hearted souls out there who only want to shower him with love and affection. And boy, did he surprise us all! Jack Teller turned out to be the friendliest pup around, melting hearts left and right with his warm greetings and wagging tail. He's not just good with people, but dogs too - a true social butterfly! Like many of our Tx dogs he is being treated for heartworms. NOTHING to worry about as this is very common here.  We will provide the medication to continue his treatment.   If you're looking for a hiking buddy or simply a furry friend to join you on leisurely strolls, Jack Teller is your guy. He absolutely loves going on walks and exploring the great outdoors. Plus, he's a pro when it comes to crate training. Talk about an all-around good boy! But here's the best part - this gentle soul is a hidden treasure, waiting to be discovered by the perfect forever family. We believe that every dog deserves a loving home, and Jack Teller is no exception. That's why we make regular trips to the Pacific Northwest, including a special stop in Bellingham, WA, just for our Canadian friends. If you're interested in adopting Jack Teller or want to find out more about him, head over to www.springbranchrescue.org. Don't miss out on the chance to welcome this incredible pup into your life. Trust us, it'll be a decision you won't regret. Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future from a city that has an animal crisis.  We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wondering our streets.  So many have been dumped and cannot find their way home.  Many never even had a home and were born on the streets.  WE gave them a chance.  Every animal deserves a chance. We know if adopted by you they will be loved and cared for . We believe in our local and out of state applicants.  There is a reason we drive to the Pacific Northwest every 2 weeks.  You are worth the drive. We have AMAZING adopters and we need more like them.  No matter if you live here in Houston, the Pacific Northwest or Canada we welcome you!  Thank you for considering to adopt and not shop.  If we are in Houston, then how can you see our posts?   Spring Branch Rescue has fosters all over the Pacific Northwest allowing us to post in specific cities. Yes our rescue is in Houston.  Our available animals live with foster families.  This is a win for you as the transition from our home to yours will be a much easier one.  We do have foster homes in your area.  This is why you are able to see our posts.  Unfortunatelly Meet & Greets have been cancelled due to Covid Restrictions.  Almost all our animals traveling have been adopted.  We have been doing this since 2019 and very successful.  Please take a look at our adopters reviews https://greatnonprofits.org/org/spring-branch-rescue ##1714321##

Story
Sunday has had incidents with other dogs. He has been bitten before, unprovoked. It is not difficult to separate him from other dogs. He has barked but never shown teeth or growled. He warms up easily and within minutes to people and kids. He lives with a 6 year old child. He loves to be active and take walks and runs or play fetch. He jumps and lunges at people and other animals. Mostly out of curiosity and friendliness. He is not necessarily aggressive in these moments. He will pull to sniff someone or a dog. Sunday will lay in bed with you all night or sleep without incident in his crate. Sunday requires a lot of attention and work to be his best. He is young and will do best as the only dog because his behavior towards other dogs is somewhat unpredictable. We have not had time to properly train him and that is our fault. We cannot give him the attention he deserves due to our own personal circumstances.

Story
Hi I am Taquito,I am so happy to see you are reading my profile. I can’t wait until I have my forever family. I am a sweet little guy who loves nothing more than to play with other dogs. I am good and respectful of children too. I haven’t lived with cats, but I am curious about them, maybe they would be good to play with, but I am not sure.I love car rides and I don’t get sick or anything so I think I would make a great traveler. I have been to the beach, but swimming is not my thing. I like to run along the water and catch the waves. Maybe that is something we could do together.I haven’t had much of a chance to play with toys, but I am sure that if I had them, I would have fun with them. I am good to walk on a leash with you and get very excited when I see the leash come out. I will need some work on the basic commands like sit, come, and stay but I am smart so we could work on that together. I will let you know when I need to go out to do my business. If it sounds like we could be a family together then just fill out the application and we can meet on a Zoom call.Lots of love to give,Taquito To get more information go to https://hope4lapawz.org/adopt and click on the dog's photo. FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED! Little Mama is a sweet and lovable pittie mix. She is ~3 years old and weighs around 45 lbs. Little Mama would love to find her forever family so she can have endless pets and romps around her very own yard! Little Mama bonds to her people and will love her forever family very deeply. She would love a family that has a home and yard to explore and play in. She enjoys walks, cuddling on the couch, and treats! She is extremely sweet and her favorite things are walks with her person, pets and cuddles. Little Mama prefers to be the only pet in the home so no other dogs or cats. She can walk fine around other dogs (walks or hikes) just as long as they are not in her personal space/within touching distance. She is UTD on her shots, microchipped and spayed. Her adoption fee is $250.

FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Meet Ralphie! He is a 4.5-year-old, 50lb, Pit Bull/Border Collie mix. This boy is just a hunk of love and look at that adorable smile!. He is sweet, fun loving and a playful boy! He would love his forever home to be an active family who would take him for walks and on adventures. Ralphie will thrive in a home that can continue basic obedience with him. Ralphie can do well with other dogs, and we will want to meet the other dogs in his forever home to make sure it’s a great fit! We do not think he would do well with a dominant male, but neutral dogs 35lbs and up ok! Ralphie can be a bit of an escape artist so he will need a free-standing home with a securely fenced yard in suburban or rural neighborhood. Ralphie is neutered, microchipped and up to date on his vaccinations. His adoption fee is $400.

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Ben, AKA Big Ben, Gentle Ben is an 8.5 year old, large and loving Pit Bull mix (roughly 80lbs) who is great with people and is looking for his forever home where he can be spoiled and loved. He is our longest resident and has been looking for his forever home with our rescue for almost 6 YEARS! Ben is a really sweet boy who bonds deeply to his people and is very loyal. He needs room to roam and play and is best suited for life in a quieter area. He will need a home in a suburban or rural neighborhood with a securely fenced yard. He is not an apartment or city dog. He would love nothing more than to take long walks with his owner and then cuddle up inside on a warm bed. Ben LOVES treats and would enjoy lounging around the house with a nice bone. He would also thrive in obedience training as he is smart and has a desire to please his people. Ben requires a large breed experienced home with no other pets in the home, preferably adult only home but he could be okay with kids 12 and older with evaluation. Take a look at Ben’s feature in partnership with NWCC: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=cXF1oe0fZ1s Ben's is up to date on shots, neutered and micro-chipped. His adoption fee is $200.

Story
HI! I'M TILLY! I'm a 2-year-old (probably younger) fun-loving Boxer mix in need of a foster or forever home! I'm currently in the Seattle area and ready to meet you! I was saved from a shelter, where I was kenneled with another sweet female Pit Bull Terrier. I get along well with most male dogs, but would also thrive as the only dog in the home, as I absolutely love human attention and affection. Like many Boxers I'm full of life and energy and fun, and so will do best with an active person or people who can give me the exercise and structure that I need. I love going to the beach -- and then when we come home, I'll happily sit on your lap. I'm a devoted lovebug and snuggler (big time!) and I will smother you with kisses. I know how to sit, and I listen well. I'm very smart and I want to respect you but I'm just a pup, so I'm still learning. And best of all, I'm super cute with a great face. I weigh about 68 pounds. Please email for an application.

Click the button to download the adoption application. The application is a form-fillable pdf. Fill out the form, save it to your hard drive, then email back to sian@gingerspetrescue.org Hi!  My name is Carol from Korea and I am a wonderful approximately 1 year old  female Boxer.  I weigh approximately 44 lbs. and so excited to find my new forever home.  I am very happy, affectionate, smart, and friendly.  I was saved from the Korean kill shelter where I was due to be euthanized. The activists came and saved me and I can't wait to come to America and find a family to love and care for me forever.  Approximately over a million dogs a year are slaughtered to be eaten.  I am so lucky to get a one-way ticket to Seattle to find my new family.  Take me on car rides, walks in the park, and I will become your best friend.  I get along well with people of all ages, gentle kids, and other dogs.  I will do best with a loving family that can give me lots of love, and affection!  On all overseas adoption, we highly recommend our pet rescue dog trainer who will help train your new pup for only $75.  My adoption fee of $1,195 will cover my spay/neuter, DA2PP shots, Rabies, Bordetella, Deworm, Heart Worm Test, Microchip, Boarding Fees, Health Certificate and airline transport cost from Korea to Seattle.   A GPS tracker or Apple Air Tag is required for all adopted dogs. You can bring your own when adopting or you can purchase an Air Tag from us   We cannot guarantee breed or age. The adoption fee is firm and helps save the life of another dog needing rescue and our other dogs in need of medical care.  Donations are always appreciated to help pay down our vet bills at Greenwood Vet.  Ginger's Pet Rescue is a non-profit 501C-3 organization.  The adoption fee is donated to the rescue and is tax deductible.   Please e-mail   admin@gingerspetrescue.org   for an adoption application. Story
Meet Kobi, a large 5-year-old adult Boxer/Pit mix with a heart of gold. He was rescued from a crowded shelter in California, where he came in with a Chihuahua. The little dog got adopted and Kobi was left behind (until he was rescued!). He loves the water, loves to play, and always has a smile to give. This gentle giant, weighing in at 87 pounds, is a true couch potato. His mellow nature makes him the perfect companion for cozy evenings in. But don't let his laid-back demeanor fool you: Kobi is smart and independent. He's a quick learner, always eager to please. Kobi is also shy, but once he warms up to you, he's incredibly loyal and friendly. His favorite pastime? Lounging! Kobi would do best in a quiet home where he can live a quiet lifestyle.
