Story
Hi there! I’m Vinny 🐾 — a 10-month-old pup with a heart full of gratitude and a whole lot of zoomies to share! Just a short while ago, I was in a high-risk euthanasia shelter in Clayton County, Georgia. My life almost ended before it truly began… but thanks to a kind human and a team of rescuers who worked together, I was saved the day before I was set to be euthanized. Because of them, I got my second chance — and now I’m ready to find my forever home. ❤️ I’m a medium-sized boy, weighing about 30 lbs, with my official birthday listed as 11-22-24. I’ve been to the vet, I’m up to date on all my shots, and I’m already neutered — so that’s one less thing for you to worry about! Life in a home is still new to me, so I’ll need someone patient and kind to help me learn the ropes. My foster family says I’m playful, sweet, smart, and curious about everything. I love running around, discovering new things, and yes — I spend a lot of time chasing flies. 🪰 I’m not very good at catching them (yet!), but it’s my favorite hobby. I get along great with kids (my foster’s little ones are 1 and 3), and I’ve been doing wonderfully with their three big dogs, too! I have plenty of energy and would probably thrive in a home with room to run — maybe a farm, or a family that loves outdoor adventures. I haven’t met any cats yet, but my foster is checking on that soon so we can be sure. For now, all I know is that I love company, playtime, and being part of a pack. I came all the way from Georgia to Washington, and I’m so ready to start my next chapter — one filled with love, patience, and belly rubs. If you’re looking for a loyal, goofy, fly-chasing sidekick who’ll make you laugh every day, I think we could be the perfect match. 💕 #AdoptVinny #BAMMRescue #AdoptDontShop #RescueDogsRock #PuppyLove #SecondChances #GeorgiaToWashington #FosterLove

🐾 Meet Ladybug — A Cattle Dog Looking for Her Perfect Match 🐾 Ladybug is a gorgeous 8-year-old Australian Cattle Dog! This beautiful is ready to find a calm, patient home where she can feel loved. Ladybug can be a little wary of strangers at first - she prefers to take her time getting to know new people. Like many herding breeds, she’s intelligent, attentive, and thrives with someone who understands her working-dog instincts. Our medical and behavior team are aware of Ladybug's urinary issues, and we’re optimistic that she’ll continue to improve with the right care and support. She’s a resilient girl who just needs someone willing to walk beside her on her journey to better health and happiness. Ladybug would do best in a quiet, stable home with an experienced herding breed pawrent who appreciates her nature and gives her the structure she needs to shine. If you’re looking for a fun friend, Ladybug may be your perfect match. ✨ Could Ladybug be the one to herd her way into your heart? Story
Riggs "lethal weapon" is a 4 year old full red heeler. He is an incredibly smart, loyal dog that loves going on off leash hikes, playing fetch, tug, using his herding ball, doing tricks, eating bully sticks and rolling in smelly things. He is muzzle and crate trained, and very food motivated. We have had Riggs since he was 12 weeks old from a local breeder. We took him to puppy kindergarten class, impulse control classes, socializations play groups and worked with other trainers. He has always been a mouthy vocal dog, very classic heeler in that way. He loves to learn new things and is happiest when he has a job or is outside exploring. He is down to travel and has never met a body of water he isn't interested in exploring or trying to drink. He does have some reactivity and resource guarding that requires an experienced owner to continue working with him on. He takes a bit to warm up to new people but he is very loyal to his people.

First thing's first....have you seen those ears?! Oh my goodness Bronco's ears are one the many amazing things about him! He is not only extremely adorable, but he is also treat motivated, dog friendly, affectionate, and has such a sweet personality. Watch Bronco's video here: https://youtu.be/tiY_pz9y2Mk?si=anupQwyqfW_PrDaT Bronco is believed to be a a cattle dog mix that is currently 7 months old and currently weighs 31 lbs with room to grow. He is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it's always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. Bronco is currently in a loving foster home and loves to play. He loves toys and his happy place is next to you getting belly scratches. This handsome boy wants to be your very best friend! Bronco is also very dog friendly and is currently fostered in a multi-dog home all ranging in sizes and personalities and he gets along great with all of them. Bronco has even been around dogs that are more reserved and shy around other dogs. He is so gentle and mindful of the fact that they might be ready to be his friend yet. He loves to give sweet little face kisses and takes corrections well from other dogs if they aren't wanting to play. Bronco also is great around small dogs too. He shares treats and affection around other dogs, no jealously with him. He knows there's enough to go around. He is a young fella and would do best in a home with another medium energy playful dog that is looking for a new bestie. Bronco is still young so he will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. Bronco's new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/67f52071293addcfb505e894 Please email kristin@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW or the NE at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 7 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $74 surcharge for transport. DISCLAIMER- Breed type is determined based on general appearance and behavioral characteristics, and cannot be guaranteed unless DNA test results or AKC registration were provided at intake.
