🐾 Meet Oreo! 🐾
Oreo is an energetic and sociable pup who's just as friendly as he is playful. He thrives on interaction, whether it's with people or other animals, making him the perfect companion for a full-of-life household.
As a true "Velcro dog," he loves being indoors close to his family, and he would be delighted to share his home with another dog or even a cat.
Oreo's intelligence shines through in everything he does. He's excellent on a leash, responsive to recall commands, and highly motivated by food, making his training sessions fun and productive. Despite his enthusiasm, he has a submissive and gentle nature with people and other dogs. He is often found lying on his back, eagerly waiting for belly rubs.
Playtime is Oreo's favorite time! He loves playing fetch and tug-of-war, and he even learned how to swim this summer, retrieving toys from deep water. He's ready to join you on all your aquatic adventures when the weather warms up.
Oreo knows various commands, both verbal and hand signals, and he's generally good with recall—though he can get distracted when other fun playmates are around. Living harmoniously with a cat, he shows no prey drive, though he's always up for a playful chase.
When it comes to toys, only the sturdiest will do for this active boy. He also enjoys puzzle toys, Kongs, and other enrichment activities to keep his sharp mind engaged. Comfortable in his crate, Oreo shows no separation anxiety, though he appreciates having company at home for part of the day.
Given his love for running and playing, a home with a fenced yard would be ideal for Oreo, providing him space to expend energy. He manages some skin allergies with a special diet of fish-based kibble and treats, and he's even got a taste for human snacks like raw veggies and coconut whipped cream.
Remember that Oreo is quite a fashionista! He enjoys sporting bandanas and wears coats to keep cozy during rainy or cold weather.

Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport.
Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you!
The adoption fee is $575.00 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship!
*WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health.
*To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs.

From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be!
