Story
**Currently fostered in Abbotsford, BC, and available for adoption across Canada, Oregon, Utah, Idaho, and Washington!** 🐾 Meet Oreo! 🐾 Oreo is an energetic and sociable pup who's just as friendly as he is playful. He thrives on interaction, whether it's with people or other animals, making him the perfect companion for a full-of-life household. As a true "Velcro dog," he loves being indoors close to his family, and he would be delighted to share his home with another dog or even a cat. Oreo's intelligence shines through in everything he does. He's excellent on a leash, responsive to recall commands, and highly motivated by food, making his training sessions fun and productive. Despite his enthusiasm, he has a submissive and gentle nature with people and other dogs. He is often found lying on his back, eagerly waiting for belly rubs. Playtime is Oreo's favorite time! He loves playing fetch and tug-of-war, and he even learned how to swim this summer, retrieving toys from deep water. He's ready to join you on all your aquatic adventures when the weather warms up. Oreo knows various commands, both verbal and hand signals, and he's generally good with recall—though he can get distracted when other fun playmates are around. Living harmoniously with a cat, he shows no prey drive, though he's always up for a playful chase. When it comes to toys, only the sturdiest will do for this active boy. He also enjoys puzzle toys, Kongs, and other enrichment activities to keep his sharp mind engaged. Comfortable in his crate, Oreo shows no separation anxiety, though he appreciates having company at home for part of the day. Given his love for running and playing, a home with a fenced yard would be ideal for Oreo, providing him space to expend energy. He manages some skin allergies with a special diet of fish-based kibble and treats, and he's even got a taste for human snacks like raw veggies and coconut whipped cream. Remember that Oreo is quite a fashionista! He enjoys sporting bandanas and wears coats to keep cozy during rainy or cold weather. If you're looking for a loving, playful, and intelligent companion ready to add joy and adventure to your life, Oreo is your perfect match! Meet him, and let the fun begin! 🐾❤️ Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/6570c78c0e1bab335b044a70 Please email jacquelynn@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Story
Ariel, the amazing cattle dog mix, is a true gem in the world of rescue animals. At just 2.5 years old, she has already experienced life in both rural and city environments, adapting effortlessly to each new situation. With a sweet and gentle disposition, Ariel has captured the hearts of all who meet her. She is a social butterfly, getting along splendidly with other dogs, cats, and children of all ages. Her charming personality shines through, bringing joy and happiness wherever she goes. Ariel's intelligence and eagerness to please make her a wonderful companion for any family. Whether exploring the great outdoors in the countryside or strolling through the bustling streets of the city, Ariel thrives in any setting. Now, this remarkable dog is ready to find her forever home. With so much love to give and a lifetime of companionship to offer, Ariel is the perfect addition to any family. Don't miss out on the opportunity to welcome this incredible canine into your life. Adopt Ariel today and experience the unconditional love and loyalty she has to offer. Ariel wants to be part of your world! She wants to see how a home looks and experience what love is. With rescue we can't guarantee age or breed but we estimate Ariel to about 2 years old, she weighs 47 lbs and is likely a pit bull mix. She is fully grown so you have found a petite pittie. One of the best things about her size is she is the perfect to-go size! Take a look at her in action then come back. to read more about Ariel. This girl enjoys the quiet life, but honestly, don’t we all! To help her feel at ease, Ariel would thrive in the company of another dog, preferably one who has a medium level of playfulness. Having a furry companion is the key to unlocking Ariel's full potential, as she tends to open up more in the presence of other dogs. In additions to a love of canine-companions, Ariel gets along famously with feline friends! Meeting our resident cat highlighted her gentle nature. While she maintained a bit of an avoidant attitude towards the cat, she was open to gentle interactions, gave respectful space and has even let the cat walk by without a fuss. With a bit of time to relax and a few treats her personality shined. We were all so excited as she started to wag her tail and come over for love. Experiencing a rescue dog unfold and fall in love with you is powerful and builds a bond like no other. While Ariel could make a wonderful addition to any family, a home with older children, 5+ who can understand her sensitivity to fast movements and loud noises would be ideal. This observation of her personality could easily change once she is in a home. Home life looks good on every dog! If you are looking for a canine companion, a bonus-buddy for your furry friend, and a calm addition to your home, Ariel is ready to be part of your world! Meet Cole! Want a puppy that will steal the show everywhere you go? Then Cole is definitely your boy! With his perky ears, sweet dark eyes, and outgoing personality he is impossible to resist! He loves humans and fur babies of every age and size, and is especially gentle and tolerant with little ones. He would love to be your errand buddy as he is great in the car and enjoys new adventures. Cole is perfect in his crate, fully doggie door potty trained, and quickly learns commands. He waits patiently in the kitchen at meal time, sits for treats and attention, and is learned to leave things that are not his. He is also a love bug, the sweetest little nuzzler, and turns his head to the side when you speak to him. Talk about melting your heart! Cole has enough young puppy in him to still chase his tail or kick his back legs out like a Texas bronco when he gets excited. Cole (affectionately nicknamed Harry) is currently 4 months old, 20 lbs, and we think he may be a Cattle Dog mix, but with rescue it’s a guess! If you are looking for and adorable, loving, playful, happy companion then Cole is your furever boy! Cole is still young so he will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. His new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. Currently fostered in Texas, he is current on shots, neutered, healthy and ready to travel to the Pacific Northwest or New England areas! Story
At 11 months old Virginia has a calm that typically only comes with age. She is a petite 32 lbs of easy-going companionship. One of my favorite things about Virginia is her contentedness, Virginia is happy to spend time with you doing whatever ol’anything you want. You don’t need to entertain her and she won’t be pestering you for endless games of catch. This gentle soul can be a bit shy at first, but once she senses your warmth, she quickly opens up, showing you her adoring nature. With her calm demeanor and quiet disposition, Virginia is made of all the qualities of a wonderful companion. She does shine in the presence of another dog, it brings out the best in her, so a home with a calm canine companion would be a dream! Despite her breed's reputation for boundless energy, Virginia is perfectly content with apartment living or a cozy home environment. This is a girl that would love to stroll around the yard and soak up the sun after her morning walk but as long as she has a loving family and a furry friend to share her days with, Virginia's heart is full.Virginia could also live with a cat, she showed her best manners when she met our house cat, curious but not at all pushy. She has an adorable face and a gentle soul and is ready to bring warmth and companionship to your life. Her quiet charm and loyalty is going to feel like she has always been yours. Adopt Virginia today and start making memories together! If you have any questions about Virginia Wolf or would like us to test her for a specific setting or detail, please be in touch! We can make most anything happen to ensure she is the correct fit for you and your life! Please email kristin@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Story
His name is Rowdy, he was born May 10, so he is almost a year old. He is kennel trained and potty trained and knows basic commands such as sit, lay, stay, place, break, no, drop it. He is a very sweet boy, and is great with me, my husband and 6 year old daughter. The only thing is he is not good with our 3 year old (our three year old is very unpredictable). So he would not be a good fit for a home that has small children. He is super smart, loves his herding ball and herding egg. Is good with other dogs and loves to play with them, he does rough play with other dogs and has a dominate personality. He does have a protective personality. He is not sure about strangers, and needs a slow, easy introduction to strangers, but once he is warm and feels comfortable around someone he is fine, he is good around all our friends and their older kids. It’s just our son that we are having issues with and why we are needing to rehome him for both of their safety. He is also neutered

Story
Finn and Rose are some of the sweetest babies you will ever meet. I would love to keep them, as they are amazing puppies, but I unfortunately can not. They were born on 12/12/23 and have been with me since the middle of March. On Saturday, I will be getting them their second round of shots, and their third round is covered at Petco, and they will get a microchip at that time as well. They are potty trained with the occasional puppy excitement accident, but that is to be expected. They have been living with my 9 1/2-year-old MD/LRG dog, and they all get along excellent. I would love to see them go to a home together, as they have not been apart. However, if that is not possible, they will probably do best with another dog in the house to keep them company. Finn is slightly more reserved and takes a bit to warm up to people. However, once he does he is a lover. On the other hand, Rose could have been named Dora, as she is the little explorer. They love to run outside and cuddle.
