Story
Misty is an absolutely gorgeous little sausage bodied 68lb Australian Cattle Dog mix, listed as 3 years old and SPAYED. She’s got that perfect stocky build, the cutest ears, and a face full of personality but none of that will matter if she doesn’t get out in time. Misty is an independent girly who likes to do her own thing, explore the yard, and take in the world. She’s no troublemaker she has a good tolerance for other dogs and did well in playgroups with male and female large dogs. She’s playful, respectful, and allows all over petting like a champ. She’s the kind of dog who doesn’t need constant attention just a safe place, a person to love her, and a chance. Misty is out of time and she deserves so much more. Please share, foster, adopt, pledge anything helps. Let’s get this good girl the life she deserves

Story
Hi! I’m Riddle! I’m a 2 -year-old, medium-sized Australian Cattle Mix with a big heart and an even bigger personality. Three words my friends use to describe me: shy at first, playful, and a protector. My energy level is high, and my favorite way to spend the day is running freely! I Love:  Cheese  Walks and runs  To be next to you I go absolutely bananas for cheddar crunchies, and I’m pretty sure cheese is the best thing ever. Home Life: I am house trained and do well when I am reminded to not mark my territory inside. At the end of the day, you’ll usually find me on my bed with my pillow and blankets. Social Skills:  Dogs: Loves playing with dogs!  Cats: Unknown  Kids: Unknown  New people: Scare me still and I will need time to learn everyone. I do best with 1 person at a time to help me feel safe and confident. Training & Manners: I know sit, paw and lay down and am learning how to leave it. On leash, I am doing well, occasionally I will pull but improve every day. Ideal Foster or Forever Home: My dream home would have enough space for me to run around, like a backyard. I’d love a family who give me time to show who I am and doesn’t mind taking it slow with me to show me I can trust them. Why Foster or Adopt Me? Because I bring love, laughter, and energy wherever I go. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who hears every small noise and would like to watch me run around, I’m your dog! Ready to Meet Me? I can’t wait to meet my foster or forever family—could that be you? 🐾💙

Story
Chloe is a 10-year-old cattle dog with a heart full of love and a playful spirit. She adores her people and will happily follow you around, always wanting to be included in your day—whether that’s working, walking, or snuggling up for a nap. Chloe has a fun-loving side too—she loves her squeaky toys and has even mastered the art of tossing them in the air and catching them all on her own! Chloe is incredibly smart and picks up training quickly, especially when treats are involved. She enjoys puzzle games, hide-and-seek, and using her nose to explore. Chloe gets along with dogs but can get over-excited on leash, so continued training will help her stay calm around them. She’d do well with a mellow dog friend or as the only pet in a cat-free home. She’s crate-trained but may bark a little when left alone. Due to her age, she needs a slip-free space to safely play. Chloe also has some medical needs, including treatment for potential Diabetes Insipidus and Spondylosis (which can be painful) but she’s responding well to medical care. Chloe is looking for a loving home where she can be part of the family. If you’re seeking a devoted, playful companion, Chloe is ready to meet you! Chloe is currently being fostered in Corvallis, OR. Adoption Process: - Adoption Application - Phone Conversation - Meet & Greet - Home Visit - Application Approval - Adoption Fee & Contract ($290) Our adoption application is available at pnwcdr.org/adopt

Story
Some dogs burst into a room and some quietly take a spot next to you on the couch. Rusty is very much the second kind he is gentle and peaceful. He has a presence that brings a sense of calm wherever he goes there is something comforting about having him nearby he just exists alongside you. Check out Rusty’s YouTube video to see him cute self https://youtu.be/4rmlUG7Q3oo?si=WGa04LJFuPOOVUVq Rusty enjoys being close to people and happily except soft pets, standing patiently by your side and soaking in the affection. He doesn’t ask for much just kindness, patience, and a little space to feel safe. His quiet nature makes every small connection feel meaningful, and when he chooses to lean in or linger by it feels so special. Rusty is a handsome cattle dog husky mix who’s about a year and a half old and weighs 60 pounds. He has a quiet presence and a gentle way about him. Rusty isn’t the type to demand attention instead, he stands nearby and softly lets you know he’s happy just being close. At first Rusty may come off as a little reserved but once he settles in he would love to lay next to his people all day. He may not immediately seek out constant affection but he truly appreciates it. Rusty did very well around other dogs. He was very polite, respectful and calm greeting them with sniffs and good manners. Well he didn’t show interest in playing or roughhousing he coexisted amazingly even with dogs who were eager to engage him. Rusty simply prefers to do his own thing. Explore the yard sniffing around or standing nearby taking everything in. Because of this he would do best with the calm, respectful dog sibling who won’t pressure him to play, though he would also be perfectly happy as an only dog soaking up a peaceful routine. When it comes to people Rusty does best when he is given a little time and space to feel comfortable, he can be unsure when people approach him quickly or when there’s a lot going on around him so a quiet, low traffic home would be ideal. Either an apartment or home with a yard could work for him. He does seem a bit uneasy around cars so a less busy area would help him feel more at ease to build confidence. One of his sweetest qualities is how well he did with kids. He showed a gentle calm, presents around them and seemed most comfortable in their company. He would do best with children who understand how to respect a dogs space allowing him to approach on his own terms and not push boundaries. But he is good with kids being crazy and roughhousing. He didn’t react just sat there and watched. Rusty did meet our cat and he did pretty well didn’t react much. I think he would need to get another cat test done to be sure but it is possible he could live with a cat. Rusty is not high energy or demanding. He’s a nice calm, easy-going dog who doesn’t need constant simulation to be happy, he’s a type of dog who would enjoy quiet mornings, long walks and peaceful evenings at home. With time, consistency and patience rusty has all the potential to blossom into an incredible loyal and loving best friend. If you’re looking for a dog who values, calm companionship Rusty may be the perfect fit for you. He’s a special boy. He just needs the right environment and when he gets it ,it will be worth every moment. Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life?
