Story
Misty is an absolutely gorgeous little sausage bodied 68lb Australian Cattle Dog mix, listed as 3 years old and SPAYED. She’s got that perfect stocky build, the cutest ears, and a face full of personality but none of that will matter if she doesn’t get out in time. Misty is an independent girly who likes to do her own thing, explore the yard, and take in the world. She’s no troublemaker she has a good tolerance for other dogs and did well in playgroups with male and female large dogs. She’s playful, respectful, and allows all over petting like a champ. She’s the kind of dog who doesn’t need constant attention just a safe place, a person to love her, and a chance. Misty is out of time and she deserves so much more. Please share, foster, adopt, pledge anything helps. Let’s get this good girl the life she deserves

Story
Hi! I’m Riddle! I’m a 2 -year-old, medium-sized Australian Cattle Mix with a big heart and an even bigger personality. Three words my friends use to describe me: shy at first, playful, and a protector. My energy level is high, and my favorite way to spend the day is running freely! I Love:  Cheese  Walks and runs  To be next to you I go absolutely bananas for cheddar crunchies, and I’m pretty sure cheese is the best thing ever. Home Life: I am house trained and do well when I am reminded to not mark my territory inside. At the end of the day, you’ll usually find me on my bed with my pillow and blankets. Social Skills:  Dogs: Loves playing with dogs!  Cats: Unknown  Kids: Unknown  New people: Scare me still and I will need time to learn everyone. I do best with 1 person at a time to help me feel safe and confident. Training & Manners: I know sit, paw and lay down and am learning how to leave it. On leash, I am doing well, occasionally I will pull but improve every day. Ideal Foster or Forever Home: My dream home would have enough space for me to run around, like a backyard. I’d love a family who give me time to show who I am and doesn’t mind taking it slow with me to show me I can trust them. Why Foster or Adopt Me? Because I bring love, laughter, and energy wherever I go. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who hears every small noise and would like to watch me run around, I’m your dog! Ready to Meet Me? I can’t wait to meet my foster or forever family—could that be you? 🐾💙

******Please note, once completing the initial screen you will be connected with the placement for a video chat. Transports run every few weeks and we will have the dog on the next available transport once approved. If you are not able to accept a dog until a specific time period, please apply at that time************ We are a volunteer run rescue and donate our time to these dogs. IF you are not serious about moving forward in our adoption process, please do not apply. If someone other than yourself is part of the decision making process, please make sure you have spoken with them and they are on board. We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog. ___ Meet Brody – a 5 year-old, 65-pound neutered male Cattle Dog/Pitbull mix with the perfect mix of playful energy and easygoing charm. Currently in a foster home in HOUSTON, TEXAS, Brody is ready to transport out of state once his forever family is approved. Brody is that rare, wonderful balance of being active enough to enjoy outdoor adventures and mellow enough to fully embrace a lazy day of Netflix and cuddles. Whether he’s chasing a toy in the backyard or melting into your side with his signature tongue-out smile, Brody is the definition of a lovable goofball. He doesn’t mind getting dressed up for holidays or themed events—he’s happy to strut in his rodeo best or festive costume, just as long as he’s doing it with his people. Brody has done best with friendly, laid-back female dogs and tends to prefer a more relaxed playmate. Because of his size and love for running, he may be a bit much for smaller or more timid dogs, but he’s also fully content being your one-and-only pup, as long as he has space to stretch his legs and get some zoomies out in the yard. A home with a secure backyard is ideal for him to enjoy some off-leash play. He’s a gentle sweetheart with people—always happy to meet new faces and has done well with the children he’s met. Because of his playful energy, we recommend a home with older, dog-savvy kids (8–10+) who are steady on their feet and understand how to respectfully interact with dogs. Brody would love nothing more than a buddy to play with, run around the yard, and then wind down with for snuggles. No cats for Brody, please, as he’s not quite sure how to share space with feline friends. When it comes to leash manners, Brody is a total gentleman. He walks calmly on a loose leash, stays close by, and enjoys a good stroll. He’s also fully housebroken and crate trained, and does wonderfully in his crate when left unsupervised, especially since he currently shares a home with other dogs. He loves his plush toys—especially giving their faces a little “customization” with his enthusiastic chomps! Brody is smart, food-motivated, and eager to please. He thrives in a home that offers structure, consistency, and encouragement. His foster mom has put in great work helping him polish his obedience skills, and he’s made huge progress! While he may still get a little excited around assertive male dogs, with calm guidance and continued positive experiences, he’s continued to show how well he can adapt. He would be a great match for someone with experience with Cattle Dogs, Pitbulls, or other intelligent working breeds. These dogs are deeply loyal, affectionate, and thrive when they have a purpose—whether that’s going on a hike, learning a new trick, or just being your loyal shadow. Brody doesn’t need a super active lifestyle, but he would love a couple of daily walks, light adventure time, and maybe a fun activity like scent work, agility, or basic obedience classes to keep his mind sharp and his bond with you strong. At the end of the day, Brody is a happy, affectionate, low-maintenance boy who’s easy to please. All he wants is a soft bed, a few toys, a cozy home, and someone to love him. He’s come so far during his time in foster care and is more than ready to start his next chapter with a family who sees how truly special he is. ___ ***Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown. We rarely know a dog's exact age nor are we able to tell the true or full breed mix of dogs as our information is limited most of the time. *** Interested in applying to adopt him? 🐾 Meet Ladybug — A Cattle Dog Looking for Her Perfect Match 🐾 Ladybug is a gorgeous 8-year-old Australian Cattle Dog! This beautiful is ready to find a calm, patient home where she can feel loved. Ladybug can be a little wary of strangers at first - she prefers to take her time getting to know new people. Like many herding breeds, she’s intelligent, attentive, and thrives with someone who understands her working-dog instincts. Our medical and behavior team are aware of Ladybug's urinary issues, and we’re optimistic that she’ll continue to improve with the right care and support. She’s a resilient girl who just needs someone willing to walk beside her on her journey to better health and happiness. Ladybug would do best in a quiet, stable home with an experienced herding breed pawrent who appreciates her nature and gives her the structure she needs to shine. If you’re looking for a fun friend, Ladybug may be your perfect match. ✨ Could Ladybug be the one to herd her way into your heart?
