Story
Well hi there! My name is Elsie Waller and I’m a 3 month old Aussie/pittie mix weighing around 15 lbs of pure cutness! My breed is a guess … it always is with rescue! I love to be where my people are and enjoy snuggles and cuddling. I would enjoy a home with kids as I am very gentle. I love other dogs big and small and do well in playgroups. I would love a home where I have a doggy companion to play with. I would also love a home with a fenced in yard where I can run and play anytime! I will need a patient person/family that can continue working with me on crate and house training as well as my leash skills and basic commands. It would be ideal if my new person/family works home or has a hybrid work schedule so I’m not left at home all day. I’m still a baby after all! Does Elsie sound like the girl for you? Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/64f64d7962aecdd537041bbd Please email kristin@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $700 and includes all vetting: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $42 surcharge for transport. Story
"Rena is a 6 month old puppy who was rescued from a rundown, unfunded shelter in Cotulla, Texas. She and her two littermates, along with their mother were living at the shelter for months without medical care, vaccines or any other type of care. They were covered in ticks. After being rescued, the dogs went to a veterinarian and we were told that Rena should be euthanized because she was so sick. Her little body endured so much- living in the Texas heat without proper food or air conditioning. She was so close to death. But, we believed that the fight in little Rena would outrun the challenges she’d face. In the next several weeks, Rena started to improve. She became playful and lively. When she was ready to be transported out of there, we took advantage of that. Rena and her littermates landed a wonderful foster home in Tumwater, Washington. The three little amigos took a trip cross country and they have been living there now for a month. Recently, Rena got some good reports from the vet in Washington. She is now vaccinated and going to be spayed this month! This little girl is FEISTY! She loves to play with her brothers and with her foster mom. Rena is now ready to be adopted! She is around 23 lbs. and would be happy to live with other dogs, although that’s not a must." To apply for Rena, please visit us at streetsavvydogrescue.org

Story
Australian Cattle Dog Mix 8 months old Male 34 pounds Kids · Yes Dogs · Yes Cats · No Let the Sparks fly! I’m sweet as could be and just as smart to boot. Playful, affectionate, athletic and did I mention sweet? I just adore people and getting attention…I thrive on making my person happy, and boy do I learn fast! The only catch is you got to have the time to put into raising a smart, sweet, loving dog like me…It’s well worth it, I promise. I love to play and roughhouse with other dogs and enjoy the attention of sturdy kids, but don't expect me to turn off my herding instincts around kitty cats. I really enjoy a good snuggle, I’m already crate trained, and I know how to sit when asked. I thought I'd have ignited a love connection by now, but so far no luck…how about you gimme a chance to be your best friend…will ya?! My adoption fee is $400 and includes neuter, microchip & registration, reduced-cost training class, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & treat packet.
