Story
Red Heeler + Chow Chow Mix 8 years old Female 51 pounds Kids · Yes Dogs · Yes Cats · No I’m a spunky young gal with a zest for life, I may be mature, but I still got some get up and go! However, I do not have a zest for spending lots of time alone and prefer to be right by your side. Once I settle in I am well mannered, a perfect housemate. But oh boy, I just love to be with people and am so affectionate. I get along great with other dogs too, big or small, and will enjoy the affection that respectful children have to offer. Just don’t ask me to live with cats! I’m smart as could be and I love working for treats, so learning new things will be fun! I walk well on leash, and I love car rides almost as much as snacks! I’m housebroken already too, and even crate trained. Goodness, there are sooo many things I love! How ’bout it, pal, will you let me love you too? 8 years old-51lbs. My adoption fee is $180 and includes spay, microchip & registration, reduced-cost training class, free veterinary exam, leash/collar, toy & treat packet, food sample.

It's Kuma!!! https://youtube.com/shorts/TlWf4zfDG6o?feature=share WATER DOG ALERT!! https://youtube.com/shorts/zUSDKRzr4lE?feature=share *Fostered in Bellingham, WA and ready for meet and greets!* Are you looking for an adventure buddy? Look no further than Kuma Booma! https://youtu.be/eEO6Koo6RKw At 2 years old & 55 lbs- This affectionate, curious and rambunctious young pup is currently located in Bellingham, WA, where he’s been learning all about what it takes to be the goodest PNW boy. A natural athlete with webbed toes who LOVES water in all forms (even baths!), we can envision him becoming that dog who launches himself off the end of a dock after a frisbee, if that’s your thing! Kuma is a total goofball who will keep you laughing with his exuberance for life and silly antics. He absolutely loves to be with his people and is happiest when he can be included in all the fun. An ideal day for Kuma is a day filled with walks, hikes, or playing outside, followed by an evening cuddling up to you on the couch. If Kuma had a motto for life, it would be “play hard, but snuggle harder.” Kuma has been working hard on basic training and hopes to find a family that will continue this. He is food and affection motivated, making him eager to please and easy to train. He’s close to mastering loose-leash walks and understands basic commands like sit, lay down and wait. He’s potty trained and crate trained, too! He’s a moderate to high energy boy, but we think a lot of that is simply due to his young age. He gets along great with other dogs and kids, but can get very excited with new people and places. He’s learned not to jump up on his fosters, but needs reminders with new friends and help learning how to pick up on social cues from other dogs -- particularly when it’s time to take a break from play. So, for now he would do best in a home without small kids. As far as siblings go, he would thrive as an only pup or with another dog of a similar size and energy level. A fully fenced yard is a must and no cats for this high speed guy. We think Kuma is the best and we love this sweet boy to pieces. All that’s missing is a home to call his own! Kuma is an adorable boy who will love you forever and he is just looking the same in return!! The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is one of the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone! Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no choice but to euthanize animals for space. We prepare them for adoption by properly vetting and providing individualized care through our incredible behavior program that consists of socialization and leash training for all animals that enter our adoption program prior to matching them with loving families who will treasure them for the rest of their lives. They are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts once adopted, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! Three Little Pitties Rescue will soon be celebrating our 5 year anniversary! Over the course of this time, we have been very fortunate for so much growth, allowing us to further connect with the community and save many lives. Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 10,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! Meet Jazzy! https://youtube.com/shorts/UqgI4pygNVE?feature=share https://youtu.be/GEnNVQ2wXjY **STAFF FAVORITE** -DOG FRIENDLY -CAT CURIOUS (not aggressive) -LOVES PEOPLE -EASY ON LEASH https://youtu.be/-MUdV4SrHYg This beautiful, sweet 2 year old Australian Cattle Dog mix is ready for her Happily Ever After! Jazzy was found as a stray and VERY pregnant. Three Little Pitties was able to care for her & give her a safe place to have her babies. All her puppies have been adopted to the PNW but we NEVER leave momma behind. So now it's her turn! Jazzy is SUPER sweet & affectionate. Just watch her video to see how gentle she is on a leash! She is very well-mannered on walks when passing by other dogs and people. She is even disciplined enough to stay focused on runs! She's been around cats and is super curious about them but doesn't give chase or show a prey drive. With proper slow introductions she should be fine with cats. Jazzy has been in a loving foster home since Easter. Even though Jazzy was found as a stray, we believe she was a pet in her past life. She is fully house-trained and knows many commands such as sit, down, stay, and wait. Jazzy is a sweet, active and lovable girl! She is beautiful with a shiny, soft, low care coat and a sweet, happy face. She loves snuggling up next to her humans but also appreciates pets and belly scratches. She is a great listener and seeks to please; her intelligent gaze when being spoken to is easy to fall in love with. When it’s time for bed, she will hop right into her kennel and curl up for the night. Adjusting to her foster home, she showed signs of separation anxiety early on, but has come a long way and no longer protests when left alone in her kennel for an hour or two. Jazzy is a medium-to-high-energy girl who is well-socialized and absolutely loves other dogs. As a working breed, she is very athletic, but when wrestling and playing with other dogs such as her smaller and clumsier foster sister (lab puppy), she is very attentive to her playmate’s behavior and knows when to ease off. Playing chase with her foster sister and parents is her activity of choice when she is most excited, and she is also a great fetcher. Jazzy’s energy and enthusiasm make her a great companion for joggers, hikers, and adventurers. She is calm when she’s burned off her energy, and is a great companion when working from home. She enjoys laying by your side and looking out the window. Car trips for hikes and other fun outdoor activities are a welcome change of scenery; she is a versatile companion and up for just about anything as long as she is with the people she loves! Jazzy also enjoys lounging on the grass in the afternoon sun or finding a comfortable spot indoors to nap. Adoption Link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/63a647d8a7cbbf1b0a1fe2c5 Jazzy is hoping to be transport eligible from Texas to the PNW immediately . By that time she will be current on shots, spayed & ready for her Happily Ever After!! Any questions? Please feel free to email her coordinator at: Tim@threelittlepittiesrescue.org Available for adoption in UT, ID, OR, WA and Canada! Brought by USDA licensed semi-truck transport. Felix the Adventurer! My video is here: https://youtu.be/X7EpDS2B8ew Felix is a total sweetheart ready to jump into life with you. He loves to swim and he is very brave, especially when there are other doggy leaders to follow, he will confidently follow. He regularly flops on his back on the ground like a goofy, happy puppy to get pets, and loves romping in the yard with the other dogs. He is an extremely loyal boy!!! Even in a yard full of dogs, he will take breaks from playtime to come a stand next to or walk next to his master. He absolutely ADORES his humans and acts so thankful for them. He lives for your love. That’s who Felix is. He will be your very best, most loyal partner. He will load up to go on errands or hikes, he will sit with you at a brewery, curl up for a movie, or run in the yard for a toy. He goes with the flow and makes everything fun. Felix is crate trained and potty trained. The cutest thing that Felix does is cuddle up next to you for belly rubs on the couch. He does love other dogs but no cats please. He has tried to be dominant with a small dog but corrected quickly. He has not acted protective of food or treats at all with other dogs. He shares very well with food and toys. Felix can live in a condo with proper daily exercise, or he needs a home with a 6+ foot tall fence because he is agile. Felix is the ultimate best friend and he is patiently waiting for someone to give him a chance!
