All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed. We adopted Emmy in 2023 as a puppy. She is the sweetest girl. She has a gentle, goofy, cuddly personality. We need to re-home her because our busy schedules between work and our four kids’ sports/activities make it so Emmy has to be in her kennel more than not. We would love to see her go to a loving family that has more quality time to give her. We are also re-homing her adorable best friend, River—1.5 year old female Border Collie, Blue Heeler, Australian Shepard mix.
