Story
This is Rip, he is not very big, house trained, crate trained, good with other dogs, doesn’t mind the inside cat but watches it. Sweet, polite, submissive, but needs a home with no horses or at least close site of them. Our old place wasn’t an issue but new house back yard borders the horse pasture and directly across from the barn, it drives him crazy to see them so close. We are afraid he or horses will get hurt or both if horse kicks thru fence at him or he were to get to them. He’s protective, will bark at strangers but will stop when told and immediately sit or retreat, he’s lovey and sweet. He loves attention but not pushy. Like a feather if he wants get in your lap. Waits till you tell him it’s ok to eat his food. Will include his crate.

Story
Andi was rescued  from her birth home in Devine, TX. She is now July 2023) almost 6 months old. We believe she was born approximately January 4, 2023. Her mom was a remarkably smart, loyal and loving Red Heeler. We believe her dad is an Australian Shepherd. Andi was 3 months old when we brought her home. Andi is sweet and full of love! However she is a high-energy girl, and would benefit from someone willing to give her the exercise, activities, and playtimes she needs to keep her active mind and body from seeking her own games!  She adores playing fetch, loves rubber balls and 'critter skins”, and  is incredibly affectionate; she loves to cuddle next to us on the couch. Andi is GREAT with other dogs and people. She loves to play with our Chiweenie. She has not been around any small children yet, but I cannot imagine she would not be as wonderful. She is great on walks and sleeps like a baby in her crate. She is 99% house-broken and well crate trained. She will come to her new home with  her crate, bedding and food. If you feel your home might be the right place for this wonderful dog, the place to start is with the adoption application found at www.dfwrescueme.org/adopt.  Once submitted, the foster will contact you to tell you more, and to arrange a meeting! The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $250.00, which includes their vaccinations and spay/neuter. Andi is participating in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so custody and ongoing care are provided by the foster, not by DFWRM.April 5, 2024, 10:47 am

Story
Hello I'm Radar! Everyone always talks about my ears! I am a young adult and have some puppy energy. I love to chew on toys and I may need some help learning what is okay to gnaw on. I love to play with dogs and I love people! I would do best in a home with other dog friends to play with. I have spent most of my puppy life in a shelter so I am working on house training. I enjoy my crate and love to snack on some frozen kongs while you are out. Story
Vienna is a gentle, sweet and loving blue heeler mix. She loves to snuggle at your feet and look lovingly into your eyes. She is great with other dogs but doesn’t want to play with them; if a dog is being too energetic in her face she does let them know with a nice little rumble. She is appropriately 6 years old. When found, Vienna had been living on the streets in rural Louisiana for over a year. Despite that difficult life, she is good with (older) children, though we’re unsure how she’ll respond to cats. She likes to go on short walks in the park and really enjoys watching other dogs play, even though she has no interest in joining them!
