Story
This sweet, fun girl is Kitty. She was born in January 2022 and is a fluffy little bullet! Kitty loves to play fetch and enjoys sticks. She is an Aussie Sheppy mix, which is an intelligent and active breed. Kitty needs plenty of physical and mental stimulation. She would love training as it gives her an opportunity to learn.  She would do well with a male playmate and enjoys older kids. Kitty is a master hole digger and a lover of all treats. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, crate and house trained.  Kitty looks heavy, but the vet assures us that she's just a floof. Story
The adoption fee is solely to help with vet costs to make sure she comes to you healthy! Zelda is a 7yr old Aussie in need of a new home that can care for her and give her a fulfilling life. She did have a very loving family before her "mother" got sick. She was living with a widower for about 3 months, who, in his grief, wasn't able to give her his full attention. His wife was sick with cancer for about 2 years before she passed, and, in her detoriating health, was also unable to groom and play with Zelda. It's a very unfortunate situation, but everyone has agreed rehoming her is what's best for all of us. She lived with indoor/outdoor cats, but does chase runners. She's good with dogs of all sizes and older children. Preferably, she should be with someone retired or works from home, with 0-1 other dogs. https://youtube.com/playlistlist=PLC2D4IzKuTgvDlXFLOl96LOzrpeDAymZs&si=UgufAgtdjZ79lcZg

The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is one of the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone! Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit cat and dog rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of cats and dogs from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no choice but to euthanize animals for space. We prepare them for adoption to match them to their purrfect family by having them in foster homes so that we can assess their behaviors, how they decompress in a home, and find out more about their unique personalities. We ask that you give them time (can take weeks to months) to decompress in their new home, do slow introductions to other pets and let their true personalities have a chance to come through. Three Little Pitties Rescue just celebrated our 5-year anniversary! Over the course of this time, we have been very fortunate for so much growth, allowing us to further connect with the community and save many lives. Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 10,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be brought into our rescue program. Together, we can be heroes. Story
Australian Shepherd + Anatolian Shepherd Mix 3 years old Female 54 pounds Kids · 6+ Dogs · Yes Cats · Yes Although I wouldn’t mind being worshiped like a goddess, I like to think that I don’t have a holier-than-thou attitude. In fact, I am sensitive and quite insecure. My journey started on the streets of Afghanistan, rescued from a life of fear and turmoil. I’ve been so lucky to spend the last couple years blossoming and building confidence in a wonderful home, but the time has come for me to find a forever family. Whether respectful children 6+, cats, or other dogs, I love all who treat me with patience and gentleness, and I treat everyone with respect and equal consideration. I am housebroken and crate trained, I love to play with my toys, and I am so goofy and affectionate once I have the opportunity to feel safe and secure. Will you slowly stroll with me on this journey of enlightenment? My adoption fee is $240 and includes spay, microchip & registration, 1 month pet health insurance, reduced-cost training class, free vet exam, leash/collar, toy & treat packet, food sample.

Story
Australian Shepherd + Labrador Retriever + German Shepherd Mix 7 months old Male 35 pounds Kids · 10+ Dogs · Yes Cats · No I don’t want to seem like a show-off or anything, but I am pretty sweet, and friendly, and affectionate with people... unless I am on leash! Goodness do I need help with my leash manners. I won’t mind sharing my home with kids 10+, or other dogs. I mean, they are all so much fun to play with! But I’m not to sure how to be friends with a kitty. I could run and wrestle and romp all day! I’m a pretty happy boy with a great attitude and a curious demeanor. I’ve got the brains to excel at arithmetic, but who am I kidding…I just can’t wait for recess! I’m super smart, playful, eager to please, and longing to be loved; so a family that is committed to working on continued training, giving me lots of guidance and structure is exactly what I need. Why not come in and meet me? I want so badly to show off what a cute fella I am! My adoption fee is $400 and includes microchip & registration, neuter, reduced-cost training class, free veterinary exam, leash/collar, food sample, toy & treat packet.

Story
We have had Harper since he was 3 months old. He is the sweetest boy! He loves people and kids. He does not like other dogs, or cats. He loves going on hikes, playing fetch, and being lazy around the house. Unfortunately, we are relocating to another country and cannot take him with us. We would love to find a new home for him that we would feel at ease leaving him with.
