Our adoption fees vary. Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee.Adoption Fee: $700   Raleigh is an 8 week old Border Collie x Australian Shepherd mix who is ready to start the adventure of a lifetime with his forever home! Raleigh was rescued from the shelter with his sister, Riley after they were no longer welcome in their former residence. Well, we just couldn’t believe that anyone could ever abandon these adorable puppies. We promised the shelter staff as well as these cuties that we would find them the best forever homes and away we went! We will be looking for separate homes for each of these puppies as we do not place siblings together. We expect Raleigh to be in the 25-30 pound range when he reaches his adult weight. If you’re looking for a taste of the East Coast right from the comfort of your own home, meet Raleigh!    Raleigh is a playful and loving puppy who is looking for a forever home full of love, cuddles, and treats! Raleigh adores the outside world and happily trots around the yard until he finds his tree to take a nap under. He loves his toys as well and is known to carry around a soft plushie for hours at a time. Once he is done with playing, he is flopping into your lap for a well-earned snuggle session. Raleigh loves his people and is excited to take on the world with them. From beach trips to camping to hikes to parks, this boy is ready for it all, as long as you are by his side! Raleigh is very confident and has shown us more of his personality by the day. He is very curious and will often venture further into the yard to check out all the unexplored sights and smells. He has gorgeous eyes and will gaze into your soul as you pet him. He is pretty irresistible and hard to say no to when he asks for more pets and cuddles.  Raleigh starts his morning at 6 AM with a trip outside to go potty before he trots back inside for cuddles as his foster family wakes up. He gets his breakfast at 7 AM and then hangs out in his pen as his foster family gets ready for the day. He takes a nap and chews on his toys until it is time for another trip out into the yard. He spends a few hours in the morning romping around and playing with his sister until it is time for lunch. After his mid-day snack, Raleigh spends some more time playing and napping throughout the afternoon until his human foster siblings come home from school. Once they do, he shows off his amazing zoomies and encourages them to play with his toys. Dinner is served at 6 PM and then he gets some more playtime. Around 8 PM, Raleigh cuddles on the couch until it is time for bed.  Raleigh gets along fabulously with dogs of all ages and sizes. He will be fantastic in any forever home, whether as a member of a pack or a solo pup. He adores his human foster siblings and is very loving towards them, especially when they give him kisses and cuddles. Interested homes should be prepared to discuss their plans for puppy training, as he will need a home dedicated to ensuring he can be a fabulous adult puppy. He is making great progress on his house-training and crate training. Raleigh can’t wait to make your life complete by joining it! Raleigh is an option for those who have owned a dog in the last 5 years. Interested homes should be prepared to discuss their training and socialization plans. Kids in the home should be over the age of 6.June 15, 2024, 6:32 pm

Story
Wallace is a purebred Toy Australian Shepherd (from Lulu's Lil Aussies in Stockton, Utah). He was born on July 22, 2016. Wallace has been with me since he was 6-weeks old, and he is almost 8 years old now. He is fully grown and weighs 12 pounds. He is a very sweet dog, but from day one, he has been very anxious. He does not do well with other people or other dogs. Once he gets to know you, he is incredibly loving and loyal. In particular, he takes more quickly to women and less physically imposing people. We have tried a number of things to help with his anxiety and behavioral issues, including two different dog training courses (one of which was an intensive 10-week course). We have used Herm Sprenger collars and shock collars. We have seen the vet, who prescribed two different medications (Prozac and trazodone), neither of which helped. We now have a 2-year-old and a 3-week-old and his behavior has worsened. We can no longer keep him, and we are looking for a better home.

Story
We haven't named this adorable little guy as we don't want to get too attached. This puppy was part of a surprise litter born on March 11th. This puppy enjoys playing, chasing, and wrestling with his littermates. He is very affectionate and will follow his owners around or lay at their feet. At this young age, he loves to chew on most things. House training is going very well.

Story
I am in a foster home and not at the shelter. If you are interested in adopting, submit an adoption questionnaire by email. Learn more hereHave you met Libby yet? Libby is a big 6 month old puppy who is incredibly smart and incredibly gorgeous, too according to her foster. Libby is playful, full of energy, and adores people. She’s currently working on her house training and is in that puppyhood phase where, um, she wants to put everything in her mouth (sleeves, wrists, etc). Her ideal furever home is active and up for the fun challenges of raising and consistently training a large pup to be the best family member she can be. Libby is already 40lbs and expected to grow a bit more. She’s ready for her own adventurous family (or even a new foster home) to keep up with her! Story
She is a 40-pound, 16-month-old Australian Shepherd. She is friendly and clingy, loving people more than other dogs. This was also the reason I chose her; she was the only puppy in the litter that stayed by my side. I am looking for a stable home. The most important thing is having flexible working hours to spend time with her and provide at least 1-2 hours of exercise daily. Ideally, I prefer living in a house so she can have more space to play.
