Story
Everyone meet Hero, an approximately 1 year old female Australian Shepherd. Hero is a true diamond in a rough! She is super sweet and LOVES her people and play mates. Hero came to us pretty beat up with two broken legs with one leg being badly broken needing extensive surgery. Her leg is all healed but she will need some understanding due to the severity of the break. We don’t know exactly what happened but we are thinking she was either hit by a car or fell out of a truck on the highway. Despite her condition, she has been the sweetest thing and super gentle. Hero is all healed up now and four on the floor. She loves to run and play with her dog friends and to cuddle with her people. Hero is one of those dogs that is a true companion to her people or person, she is on you like glue. Hero would be best suited for someone that has had Australian Shepherds or working dogs, she is very high energy and has a busy mind. She can also be shy at times and is a very soft temperament, so patience is a must. Hero Requirements: -Herding dog experience -fenced yard -patience -no apartments -no cats -minimal kids around (she is great with some kids) -Hero will be a priority. She will not be sidelined because of family matters. She needs to fully included as often as possible. Hero is leash trained but could use some more refinement. She is also; house trained, crate trained, spayed and fully up-to-date on shots. If Hero sounds perfect for your family, please fill out our application: https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application There is an additional $20 microchip fee which includes registration and transfer to her new furever family.

Story
Romee has a very fear based personality, but getting to know him is definitely worth it! He is a Velcro dog who needs constant attention and absolutely loves cuddles. Hes fairly decent at walks but it does get hard when he spots any dogs, people are not as bad. He can be very silly and loves to play. He has been around both children and cats, he does fairly well around them. Romee will definitely take a while to adjust to a new home. Sadly we don’t have the time to work on his behavior issues and overall our home is small for him. we are looking for a home that will take time to not only understand him but will have time and patience for him as well as a yard. He has dog fear aggression as well as people fear aggression. If you are interested a meet up is a must beforehand for agreements.

Story
Bluebell is a happy adventurous girl ready to go anywhere with you! As an almost 4 year old Aussie/Border Collie mix, she is energetic, curious and very intelligent. She would do best with an active family who is interested in teaching her tricks and playing puppy games. Bluebell has lived with cats and gets along with them well but does want to play with them. A confident cat would make a much better sibling than a shy one. Bluebell loves other dogs but can become overstimulated during play dates. She would most likely adjust well to a doggy sibling she can get used to but needs close supervision at dog parks or on doggy play dates with new dogs. Bluebell will come with all her doggy gear including a crate, toys, leash and harness. Shes a very good dog, I unfortunately just do not have the time to give her the love and attention she deserves. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with questions. Thank you!
