Story
Arlo is his name and his gentle eyes match his heart perfectly! Arlo is currently fostered in a loving home with three kids (ages 4–12), and his daily routine reads like a cozy family story. Mornings start with breakfast and a short walk to the bus stop with the kids, followed by backyard zoomies and toy time with his small dog buddy. Then it’s nap time… until the kids come home and it’s right back to play, connection, and winding down together for the evening. He is house and crate trained, knows the rhythm of home life, and truly thrives when he knows where his people are. Go watch Arlo on YouTube, then come right back to read more. https://youtu.be/0k4F2-EaUVE?si=AIoBDzJEkI0JoR_m Arlo is estimated to be 1 year old, he weighs 48 lbs and may be a husky/shepherd mix but of course, he is a rescue so we cannot guarantee age or breed. Arlo’s foster has had a wonderful front row seat to the Arlo show and shared so much about him. We lovingly call him a “slow bloom, big reward” kind of dog. He can be shy when meeting new people and may hang back at first, taking everything in from a safe distance and in these moments you see just how adoring and devoted he is. This is when he looks to his person for reassurance while he figures things out. But with a little time, a little patience, and a steady routine… on the other side you have the sweetest, most devoted boy who just wants to be close to you. One thing that helps Arlo feel his best is having a canine buddy, especially a smaller dog. He absolutely lights up around his little foster sibling, following along, playing, and gaining confidence just by having that companionship. Bigger dogs can feel a bit overwhelming for him right now, so a home with a smaller, friendly dog or a calm, easygoing larger dog (with a thoughtful introduction and decompression time) would be ideal. Not only do dogs make him feel a little more at ease, Aldo has spent time with a cat and has done well with slow and proper introductions with a cat. Arlo would feel most comfortable in a home with a yard where he can settle in and build confidence at his own pace. Walks in busy or unfamiliar places can feel like a lot for him right now, but he’s a smart, trainable boy who just needs time, consistency, and someone willing to show him the world can be a safe and gentle place. If you’ve ever loved a shy dog, you already know… there is something incredibly special about earning their trust. Arlo isn’t trying to be everyone’s dog. He’s waiting to be someone’s dog. And when he is, it’s the kind of bond that feels steady and true. Are you Arlo’s person? Apply today and welcome home a gentle family boy who just might become your favorite little shadow. https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/697b7a35063e5fe841006850 Questions? Story
Truffle is the kind of dog who won't be the loudest personality in the room, but she just might be the one who steals your heart the fastest. Gentle, thoughtful, and wonderfully easy to love, she has a quiet sweetness that makes every little moment with her feel special. Go watch Truffle Rae on YouTube, then come right back to read more about this tender-hearted little lady. https://youtu.be/JjH-UICAXzk Truffle is a rescue, so breed and age are simply our best guess but she is estimated to be around 2 years old, weighs a perfectly petite 38 pounds, and looks very much like an Australian Shepherd mix. Because she is fostered in a loving home, we know for certain that she is a soft-natured, loving girl with excellent house manners and a heart as sweet as her name. Truffle is currently thriving in a foster home where she lives with a Pit Bull pal she absolutely adores. The two enjoy running and playing together, and her favorite place to take breaks between games is her beloved sand pile in the yard. If there's a game of chase about to happen, chances are you'll find Truffle patiently waiting nearby, ready to join in. Her foster family describes her as an easy addition to their home, and it's easy to see why. She's house trained, crate trained, gentle with the children in the home, and always happy to accept a treat or two. She enjoys having a dog friend around but carries herself with such an easygoing nature that she settles comfortably into daily life. When meeting new people, Truffle prefers a polite introduction rather than an enthusiastic grand entrance. She takes a little time to warm up, but does so in the calmest, most endearing way. No drama, no panic, no fuss. Just a quiet hello, a few moments to take everything in, and before long she's happily relaxing nearby, content to be part of the moment. If you've been hoping to find a gentle companion with a soft heart, lovely manners, and a peaceful presence, we are sure Truffle is the girl who you've been looking for. Good with dogs, Not good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Hi there, This is Sedona about 11 and an aussie shepherd! Full of life her age hasn’t slowed her down not one millimeter. Unfortunately city living does not bring her much joy (she hates smoke alarms) we think she would be much better suited on a farm with land to run around or VERY large yard would be good for her! No apartmentShes very friendly and uonce she gets used to you she will literally want to spend her whole day or days with you if she has them! She does have another dog around currently but she does take a little while to get warmed up to other dogs so perhaps her being in a home as the only dog would be good however she can be okay having a sibling it just takes some introductory time, she is NOT compatible with cats and never really has been unfortunately. Shes in good health we accepted her from a friend but found out we just don’t have the kind of space she needs! She really loves the high desert so if you live or frequent it she will be in her actual version of heaven!

Story
Harley is about 4 months old. I started caring for her when she was around 2 months old after a friend was no longer able to take care of her. I stepped in to help and have been trying to find her the loving forever home she deserves.Harley would do best in a home that can give her lots of love, attention, exercise, and patience as she continues growing through her puppy stage. She has tons of puppy energy, loves going on walks, running around outside, and playing. She’s incredibly sweet, friendly, and affectionate. Harley gets along great with both people and other dogs, and she has such a happy, loving personality.** Harley also comes with a kennel, food, food bowls, leash/harness, toys, etc.
