BEST WAY TO INQUIRE, EMAIL CONTACT@BAMMRESCUEPDX.ORG From his foster: “Ralphie – Your Adventure Co-Star1 year old | 48 lbs | Australian Shepherd MixRalphie is the kind of dog who forms deep bonds and wants to truly be part of your life. He’s intelligent, expressive, and athletic — a classic working-breed mix who thrives when he has structure, purpose, and connection. At one year old, and still figuring out the world, he can be sensitive in new situations and has shown some fear-based reactivity in the past. The good news? With structure and training, he has been making wonderful progress and building confidence every single day. He is looking for experienced, steady leadership to help him continue that upward trajectory. He would do best in:• An adult-only home (no young children)• An active household that enjoys walks, hikes, and enrichment• A secure yard (he’s athletic and curious!)• A home with breed experience and commitment to continued training    ##2622392##

Story
Kaia is a loving playful 2 year old dog. She is fiercely loyal to her people, and well-trained with two years of professional consistent training. She struggles with anxiety especially people anxiety with young children. We moved into the city, and there are 20 kids on our block. We are worried about her comfort and the safety of our neighbors. She would do amazing with some space. We lived in a spread out suburb before and she did great. She should be with people that don’t have children (although she does great with our kids), but the visiting children on play dates had been bad for her anxiety. She LOVES other dogs and does great with other big hiking outdoorsy dogs.

Story
**Lucas is currently being fostered in Houston TX but is available for out of state adoption via rescue transport at no added fee to adopters. We offer video chat for you to meet your pup prior to committing to adoption, and have a guaranteed return process for all our dogs** Lucas is your all around adventure pup who loves to run, play, swim, repeat! This dog has a ton of energy and just loves to be right beside his human best friend! He was found as a stray on the streets of Houston TX, where he was rescued by a good Samaritan who made sure he was safe, and vetted. Unfortunately, they didn't have a lot of space and Lucas started to get anxious being in such confined spaces with no way to run. Being the breeds he is, this caused him to mentally deteriorate a little and thus he was brought to us. Lucas has since settled in beautifully now that he has land to run in, friends to play with, toys aplenty and all the water time he could ask for. While he can be a little needy at times, we don't blame him given the confined spaces he endured before being brought here. Anyone who loves to run and was cooped up for as long as he was would be! However, he has really started to thrive with the right environment. Lucas is a very intelligent dog who is eager to please and quick to learn. He picks things up quickly, and is bold and confident in his learning style so it doesn't take much at all. Treats, toys, a good belly rub, all are equal enough to him to work for and he definitely will work for it! He is crate trained, and has done well to introduction to all things home life. He really loves toys, and is constantly looking to play, fetch, run, and seek all the fun things! He also really loves the water, and any chance he gets he is in the pool, which, given how hot the summer has been we don't blame him! He would do great with a family looking for someone to inject energy and life into the home. He is 100% a persons dog, and would do best with someone who has the time and space for him to grow and play. Even though he is a husky, he is a relatively quiet dog who isn't a loud barker, though he will whine if he wants a toy and isn't seeming to get our attention for it. But otherwise, no howling here! Lucas will come fully vetted and health certified. For more information, contact MokasMission@Gmail.com

Story
I found Sandy on the street with 4 other dogs down at college. I was originally going to foster her while space at the shelter opened up, but really fell in love with her and have had her over the past year. She is an amazing dog, never once has been aggressive to people or animals, and she really is the sweetest dog I’ve ever met. I’m 22 and a first time dog owner and I’ve tried for the past year to make our lives work together but she needs someone who can give her more than I can right now. Going to be moving out and starting a full time job soon, and Sandy needs someone who is experienced with training, patient and able to give her the exercise she needs as she is very high energy. She also has some separation anxiety problems to work through, but she is incredibly smart and food motivated as well as eager to please so I am sure the right person will be able to do wonders with her training wise. I love her more than the world and I want her to have the incredible life she deserves.
